Abstract

Mathematics Problem Solving will give the expected results depending on a person's ability to control and direct his thinking activities (self-regulated learning) as well as his ability to have self confidence in solving problems. This study aimed to determine the effect of self-regulated learning and self-efficacy on problem-solving in social arithmetic material in class 7th graders of Public Junior High School 19 Ambon. The approach used was quantitative, with a sample of 27 students determined by random sampling (randomly). The research instrument used questionnaires and tests. It consisted of the self-regulated learning questionnaire, which 40 items, and the self-efficacy questionnaire 30 items. Data analysis used simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis in which there were multiple correlation coefficients, and simultaneous and partial significant hypothesis testing at a significant level = 0.05 with the assistance of SPSS version 26.0. The research results show that : (1) there is no effect of self-regulated learning on problem solving in social arithmetic material 7th graders of Public Junior High School 19 Ambon, (2) there is no effect of self-regulated learning on problem solving in social arithmetic material in 7th graders of Public Junior High School 19 Ambon, (3) there is no effect of self-regulated learning and self-efficacy on problem solving in social arithmetic material in 7th graders of Public Junior High School 19 Ambon The contribution given to these two variables to problem solving is 4.%.

Abstract

Evaluation is a means to improve the quality of education through the results of information that is used as feedback and improvements to educational programs, one of which is the formative-summative evaluation model. This study aims to determine the effect of the formative-summative evaluation model on mathematics learning outcomes through differentiation learning in high school students. This type of research is evaluation research with a quantitative approach. Data were obtained through documentation techniques by taking samples based on certain considerations (purposive sampling), namely classes that have implemented an independent learning curriculum and educators who teach are driving educators so that planning in differentiated learning can run as expected. The results of the analysis using multiple linear regression tests obtained that there was a significant influence between the formative-summative evaluation model on mathematics learning outcomes as shown from the calculations obtained by the value of Fcount = 89.8 with a significant level of 0.05, then Ftable = 3.316 so that Fcount > Ftable or 89.8 > 3.316 then H0 is rejected. This shows that the formative-summative model can be used to evaluate student’s mathematics learning outcomes through differentiation learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur self-evaluation mahasiswa pendidikan matematika terhadap materi perkuliahan analsis real melalui pembelajaran online. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengambilan sampel berdasarkan pertimbangan tertentu (purposive sampling) yaitu mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Universitas Pattimura yang mengikuti mata kuliah analisis real sebanyak 106 responden. Data diperoleh dengan menyebarkan angket self evaluation melalui google form dan berupa angket respon dengan metode skala Likert. Analisis awal dilakukan untuk mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen melalui perhitungan Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) untuk mengetahui validitas konstruk instrumen dan Cronbach’s Alpha untuk mengetahui reliabilitas. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis Item Response Teory (IRT) politomus Rating Scale Model (RSM) untuk mengukur self-evaluation mahasiswa. Hasil analisis EFA menggunakan program R menghasilkan 7 faktor laten dari 30 item indikator dengan nilai Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) adalah 0. 79 dan MSA tiap item menunjukkan hasil > 0.5, loading faktor tiap item > 0.3 dan estimasi reliabilitas 0.877. Hasil perhitungan IRT politomus RSM menunjukkan model fit untuk setiap item dan diperoleh hasil IIF = 94.99%, TIF = 94.89%.  Kategori respon mahasiswa untuk self evaluation terhadap materi perkuliahan analisis real melalui pembelajaran online dengan θ = -1.55 sampai 1.89 yaitu kategori mudah, sedang dan sulit. Berdasarkan hasil analisis maka instrumen dapat digunakan untuk mengukur self evaluation.  Penelitian ini berkonstribusi terhadap implementasi praktek penskalaan pada instrumen penelitian pengukuran data kuantitatif. Rating Scale Model: Student self-evaluation through online learning Abstract: This study aims to measure the self-evaluation of mathematics education students on real analysis lecture material through online learning. This research uses a quantitative approach with sampling based on certain considerations (purposive sampling), namely student of Mathematics Education Study Program, FKIP Pattimura University who take real analysis courses as many as 106 respondents. Data was obtained by distributing self-evaluation questionnaires through google form and in the form of a response questionnaire with the Likert scale method. Initial analysis was carried out to determine the validity and reliability of the instrument through the calculation of Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) to determine the construct validity of the instrument and Cronbach's Alpha to determine reliability. Furthermore, Item Response Theory (IRT) analysis of the polytomus Rating Scale Model (RSM) was carried out to measure student self-evaluation. The results of the EFA analysis using the R program resulted in 7 latent factors from 30 indicator items with a Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) value of 0. 79 and MSA for each item showing results > 0.5, factor loading for each item > 0.3 and a reliability estimate of 0.877. The results of the RSM polynomial IRT calculation show a fit model for each item and the results obtained IIF = 94.99%, TIF = 94.89%.  Student response categories for self-evaluation of real analysis lecture material through online learning with θ = -1.55 to 1.89 are easy, moderate and difficult categories. Based on the results of the analysis, the instrument can be used to measure self-evaluation. The research contributes to implementation of scaling practices in quantitative data measurement research instruments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Kristen Dobo yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran problem solving dan model pembelajaran konvesional pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel . Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen (Experimental Research ) dengan desain dalam eksperimen yang digunakan adalah Post-Test Only Control Group Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu VIII4 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VIII6 sebagai kelas eksperimen (Problem Solving) pada tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari analisis deskriptif dan analisis uji t. hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa terlihat dari nilai thitung = 2,890 = ttabel dan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) < α = 0,05 yakni 0,006. Hal ini menunjukan pada taraf signifikan 5%, H1diterima dan H0 ditolak itu berarti bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Kristen Dobo diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran problem solving (PS) dan model pembelajaran konvesional pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel.

Abstract

Student learning achievement in statistical material is still relatively low, because the learning method used is still monotonous (conventional). This study aims to improve the learning achievement of class XII Students of SMA Negeri 2 Salahutu on statistical material through the cooperative learning type two stay two stray. This type of research is a class action research consisting of two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meeting. The subjects in this study were students of class XII-MIA2 with a sample of 20 students. Data collection techniques in this study were obtained from the results of observations and final test results of students in each cycle. Classical student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II increased by 15%. Based on results obtained, it can be concluded that using the cooperative learning of the two stay two stray type can improve the learning outcomes of class XII students of SMA Negeri 2 Salahutu on statistical matrial.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know about the improve of the students’ achievement in learning algebra operations by using Think Talk Write (TTW) models on 7th grade students of SMP Kartika XIII-1 Ambon. The subjects of this research are 21 students on 7th grade at SMP Kartika XIII-1 in academic year 2017/2018. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research which taken 2 cycles in order to reach students’ achievement by most students in the class. Data of this research is obtained by using test instrument and observation sheets. Research data is analyzed by using qualitative and quantitative data analysis. After applying Think Talk Write model, the results show that there is improvement in cycle II. In cycle I, there are 6 students who have final test score ≥ 75 (28,57%). In cycle II, there are 18 students who have final test sore ≥75 (85,71%). According to students’ final test scores in cycle I and cycle II, there can be concluded that there is a significant improvement in cycle II, with the value of improvement of cycle I to cycle II as 57,14%

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing: (1) student learning outcomes using discovery learning learning models assisted by geogebra software; (2) student learning outcomes taught using problem solving learning models; (3) whether there are differences in student learning outcomes who are taught using discovery learning learning models assisted by geogebra software and problem solving learning models on geometry transformation material in class XI MIA SMA Negeri 5 Ambon. The type of this research is experimental research, using the posttest only control group design. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIA SMA Negeri 5 Ambon with a total of 170 students and the sample in this study was selected using purposive sampling, namely class XI MIA4 with a total of 34 students and class XI MIA5 with a total of 34 students, so the number of samples in this study namely 68 students. The instrument used in this study is a test instrument consisting of description questions for the final test. In this study, statistical analysis was used, namely t-test and the final results of the study were: (1) there were differences in student learning outcomes who were taught using discovery learning learning models assisted by geogebra software and problem solving learning models on geometry transformation material. This is shown in the results of the t-test calculation, namely the value of Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.017 < value of =0.05, thus causing H0 to be rejected and H1 to be accepted. rejected

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh hasil belajar matematika siswa yang masih di bawah KKM serta proses pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar siswa antara model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dan model pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan tipe penelitian eksperimental (Experimental Research). Dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah post test only control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas VII yang terdiri dari dua kelas dimana satu kelas sebagai kontrol dan kelas lainnya sebagai kelas eksperimen yang masing-masing berjumlah 42 siswa. Hasil belajar siswa pada penelitian ini dilihat dari nilai post test. Melalui serangkaian uji statistik dilakukan pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial yang salah satunya menggunakan uji beda rata-rata atau uji-t. Intstrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar siswa tentang Operasi Bentuk Aljabar. Hasil menunjukan bahawa, terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dan model pembelajaran konvensional pada materi operasi hitung bentuk aljabar di kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Ambon. Dengan bukti rata-rata hasil belajar pada kelas yang diajarkan dengan model Quantum Teaching yaitu 60.00 dan kelas dengan model konvensional yaitu 48.48

Abstract

Barat Daya dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Brain Based Learning (BBL) pada materi jajargenjang dan trapesium. Model pembelajaran Brain Based Learning (BBL) adalah pembelajaran yang didasarkan dengan cara kerja alami otak masing-masing siswa dalam memahami suatu materi dengan memanfaatkan seluruh fungsi otak, dimana fokusnya agar siswa menyenangi dan menyukai belajar sebagai upaya pemberdayaan potensi otak siswa. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri Upuhupun Maluku Barat Daya yang berjumlah 16 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang berlangsung selama 3 siklus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan lembaran observasi dan tes akhir pada setiap siklus. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data kualitatitif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I terdapat 2 siswa yang mencapai nilai kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yaitu yang ditetapkan di SMP Negeri Upuhupun Maluku Barat Daya atau dengan persentase yang tuntas meningkat pada siklus II dengan persentase atau terdapat 10 siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM serta meningkat pada siklus III dengan persentase atau terdapat 13 siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Brain Based Learning (BBL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri Upuhupun Maluku Barat Daya pada materi jajargenjang dan trapesium
