Abstract

Sweat corn is a vegatable that contains carbohydrates, protein, vitamine and sugar content levels are relatively high but low axunge content. In an effort to develop sweat corn often encountered obstacles basically fertility problem and low soil productivity. This research intead to analyze the effect of interaction and single factor dose cow manure and fertilization time on growth and yield of sweat corn. Research carried in integrated land STIPER Muhammadiyah Tanah Grogot, Tapis village sub-districts Tana Paser, district Paser since July-October 2015. This environtment design of this research groop random design (RAK) and the treatment design is split plot design. There are nine combinations of treatments are repeated three times. There are 27 total plots experiment. The result showed that interaction treatment give a significant influence for cob weight with husk and without husk and single treatment dose of cow manure 10 ton ha-1 and fertilizing at the same time planting has been able to increase growth and sweat corn crop yield.Keyword: manure, sweat corn, dose, time

Abstract

The Onion red (Allium cepa L.) is a horticultural commodity belonging to spice vegetables. Spices vegetables are much needed, especially as a complement to cooking spices enhance taste and enjoyment of cuisine. In addition to cooking spices, red onions can also be used as a traditional medicine that is beneficial to health. The use of dolomite lime is able to increase the pH of the soil to be ideal and the plant becomes healthy, then liquid organic fertilizer can increase crop production.. This study aims to analyze the influence of interaction and dolomite lime single factor and concentration of liquid borneo liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of shallot crop (Allium cepa L.). The research was carried out at Pama Daya Taka Business Development Institute, Sungai Terik Village, Batu Sopang Subdistrict, Paser Regency. This study used two factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK), the first factor was the Dolomite Lime treatment and the second factor was concentration Organic Fertilizer Liquid Cakra Borneo. Based on the results of the study showed that the treatment of lime dolomite and concentration of liquid organic fertilizers Cakra Borneo no significant effect on all parameters observed. While for interaction result between treatment of Lime of Dolomite and Dosage of Organic Fertilizer of Cakra Borneo Liquid have significant effect on leaf number parameter at age 3 MST. Keywords: Red onion, dosage, dolomite lime and POC Cakra Borneo

Abstract

The energy of river water flow or irrigation canals can be utilized by using a horizontal axis Savonius turbine, which converts low-speed river flow into electrical power with good design. The design of this turbine needs to pay attention to several parameters, namely, the deflector angle, the number of blades, the diameter and thickness of the blades, and the diameter and thickness of the end plates. However, the problem usually encountered is imperfect turbine construction due to the large drag force that occurs so that the power generated is low. Based on this background, it is proposed to manufacture and test the performance of a series Savonius underwater rotors with a horizontal axis. The research results found that the generator voltage without load was 25.6 V when the turbine only rotated at 47.2 rpm, whereas when under load, the average power produced was 8.5 watts with an average turbine speed of 31 rpm. The highest efficiency value on the rotor is 86.73%, with a torque value of 3.36 at a turbine speed of 29.9 rpm. This indicates that the tool can generate large torque at low speeds.

Abstract

Desa Muser merupakan salah satu desa menghasil madu kelulut di Kecamatan Muara Samu. Diversifikasi pangan, dengan pemanfaatan pangan lokal dengan melihat potensi madu kelulut dan potensi tanaman obat keluarga yang banyak ditanami Masyarakat sekitar yakni jahe. Dengan peralatan sederhana, dibuat  olahan diversifikasi  pangan yakni Jamu madu kelulut. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat khususnya pada remaja akan pentingnya budidaya tanaman obat disekitar lingkungan dan memberikan keterampilan bagaimana cara pengolahan tanaman obat dengan mengolah jadi minuman jamu dicampur madu kelulut sehingga bisa lebih berkhasiat untuk Kesehatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode demonstrasi pembuatan jamu madu kelulut dan penyuluhan Cara budidaya Tanaman Obat Keluarga (TOGA). Pengabdian  dilaksanakan di Desa Muser, Kecamatan Muara Samu , Kabupaten Paser, berkolaborasi dengan SMA Negeri 1 Muara Samu, hasil  yang diperoleh adalah produk Jamu olahan Jahe dan Madu kelulut yang merupakan potensi lokal  yang ada di Desa Muser.

Abstract

AbstrakSagu (Metroxylon sp) merupakan salah satu makanan pokok yang kaya akan karbohidrat, sering dijumpai di daerah sekitar aliran sungai, rawa-rawa, dan bergambut. Desa Tanah Periuk adalah salah satu desa di Kecamatan Tanah Grogot, Kabupaten Paser, Kalimantan Timur yang terdapat tanaman sagu. Namun belum diketahui pasti jenis sagu dan jumlahnya, sehingga tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis sagu yang terdapat di Desa Tanah Periuk, mengetahui banyaknya populasi sagu di Desa Tanah Periuk, mengetahui banyaknya populasi tiap jenis sagu di Desa Tanah Periuk, mengetahui perbedaan antara jenis tanaman Sagu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan purposive sampling, pengamatan dilakukan secara langsung terhadap sampel yang dipiih berdasarkan beberapa kriteria yaitu berumur 4 tahun dan tanaman dalam keadaan baik. Hasilnya didapatkan, di Desa Tanah Periuk terdapat sebanyak 1.200 pohon tanaman sagu, 1.170 diantaranya adalah sagu Molat dan 30 pohon lainnya merupakan sagu Tuni. Perbedaan antara jenis tanaman sagu tersebut adalah terdapat duri dibagian pelepah daun pada sgu Tuni, sedangkan sagu Molat tidak memiliki duri.Kata kunci: sagu, jenis, populasi.
