Abstract

=0,001). Terdapat perubahan rerata tekanan darah sebelum dan sesudah latihan senam baik pada latihan 2 kali/minggu. Simpulan pada kedua kelompok latihan terdapat penurunan bermakna tekanan darah sistolik dan diastolik setelah senam Prolanis selama 4 minggu berturut-turut. Kata kunci: senam prolanis, hipertensi

Abstract

One type of cardiovascular disease that often occurs is coronary heart disease. Although the coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) procedure can help overcome coronary heart disease problems, the post-CABG recovery stage can also lead to an increase in angina symptoms (chest pain), decreased ability to exercise, and mostly in the Quality of dimension life. The purpose of this literature review is to determine the effectiveness of the PRECEDE educational model in reducing depression and improving quality of life in patients with coronary heart disease who have CABG. This idea seems reasonable was carried out by searching through databases in PubMed and ScienceDirect until May 13, 2020, for nursing studies in chronic heart disease patients with CABG. Two articles were found that were suitable for a literature review. Findings from the literature suggest that designing educational interventions according to the PRECEDE model significantly improves all aspects of a patient's quality of life. Providing educational programs with the PRECEDE model can reduce depression in patients with CABG. This PRECEDE educational model can reduce depression and increase QoL in patients with Coronary heart disease who have undergone CABG.

Abstract

Background: During the hemodialysis process, patients may experience acute complications due to decreased comfort, both physically and psychologically. Objective: The This literature review aims to determine whether music therapy can reduce complications in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis. Research Method: This literature review study investigates whether music therapy can reduce complications in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis. Results: A total of 49 articles were found, with 6 articles selected after the screening process, and subsequently analyzed in this literature study. Music therapy has been proven to significantly reduce anxiety, pain, and cramps, balance systolic and diastolic blood pressure, improve sleep quality, decrease respiratory rate, and increase oxygen saturation. Conclusion: Music therapy can reduce complications in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis.

Abstract

Background: During Hyperglycemia is a condition where blood sugar levels are higher than normal levels, which is less than 200 mg/dl for casual plasma glucose values. Uncontrolled hyperglycemia can cause blood sugar levels to spike so high that it can cause emergency hyperglycemia. Objective: This study aims to determine the description of nursing care for patients with hyperglycemia with progressive muscle relaxation intervention. Research Method: This type of research is a case report. Data collection for this case study was carried out in the Emergency Room of Hermina Jatinegara Hospital on October 11, 2023. Data collection was carried out through observation, physical examination, and interview methods. Diagnostic examination data were obtained through the results of medical record records. Blood glucose levels were measured using a Glucometer. Results: Mr. A, 41 years old, male with a medical diagnosis of hyperglycemia, the results of the assessment were found that the client complained of weakness, dizziness, often felt thirsty, had nausea and vomiting 2 times and had 5 loose stools since morning, the extremities felt cold, skin turgor decreased and dry, bowel sounds frequency 40x / minute, blood glucose levels were 432 mg / dl, leukocyte levels were 14.7 10¬ ^ 3 / µL, and hematocrit was 47%. The nursing diagnoses that were established were unstable blood glucose levels, hypovolemia, and diarrhea. The nursing interventions provided were hyperglycemia management and additional progressive muscle relaxation therapy, hypovolemia management, and diarrhea management. Nursing evaluation found that the problem of unstable blood sugar levels was resolved, the problem of hypovolemia was partially resolved, and the problem of diarrhea was partially resolved Conclusion: This case report provides an overview of nursing care for patients with hyperglycemia and information on the effectiveness of providing additional interventions, namely progressive muscle relaxation.

Abstract

Chronic kidney disease is a global health problem that affects millions of people worldwide. Chronic renal failure as the final stage of kidney disease, requires comprehensive management, starting from regular hemodialysis to self-care management of the patient at home. Fluid and nutritional management is an important aspect that patients and families must pay attention to. Lack of availability and effectiveness of nutrition and fluid education programs specifically aimed at patient families. Many families of chronic kidney failure patients experience difficulty in adapting and implementing appropriate nutritional recommendations in daily life. This community service aims to provide comprehensive education, which provides relevant and up-to-date information about nutrition and fluids and involves families in an interactive learning process. Community service activities were carried out using direct health education methods for 16 families of patients undergoing hemodialysis. The evaluation method is carried out by filling out a pre-and post-test design knowledge questionnaire. The activity was carried out on May 17 2024 in the hemodialysis treatment room at Hermina Daan Mogot Hospital. The results of community service activities show an increase in knowledge regarding nutritional diet and fluids in the families of patients undergoing hemodialysis. It is hoped that the community service team nurses will then directly assist families regarding nutritional diet and fluids for patients undergoing hemodialysis and then monitor its long-term implementation at home either online or offline.
