Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan sumber pembelajaran digital untuk materi desain interior pada kelas 11 Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Negeri 58 Jakarta dengan program keahlian Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan. Menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development), dan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yakni Design, Define, Development, dan Disseminate. Produk E-Modul juga diujikan kepada siswa kelas 11 SMK Negeri 58 Jakarta sebagai pengguna produk. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli, E-Modul dinilai layak untuk digunakan berdasarkan kategori kelayakan dengan presentase validasi materi sebesar 95% dan validasi media sebesar 97%. Hasil menunjukan bahwa produk E-Modul layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Aplikasi Perangkat Lunak dan Perancangan Interior Gedung di SMK Negeri 58 Jakarta.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop teaching material regarding research design in the Electronic Module-based Research Methodology course which consists of problems, theoretical basis, hypothesis submission, research methods and to find out the value of the effectiveness of electronic module teaching materials through limited distribution. This study uses a research and development research method (R&D) with the Thiagarajan 4D model. The results of the validation by material experts were 0,94 in the very high category, while the results of the validation by the media experts were 0,89 in the very high category. The limited trial results showed an increase in the average value of the pre test by 62,45 and post test by 78,53. Therefore, it can be concluded that the electronic module teaching materials for this electronic module can increase understanding in terms of material and are declared fit for use in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan modul ajar AutoCAD terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan (DPIB) SMK Negeri 35 Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dan desain nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan penambahan modul ajar AutoCAD dan kelas kontrol yang mengikuti pembelajaran tanpa modul ajar, dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penilaian proyek menggambar AutoCAD yang dilaksanakan selama empat pertemuan pembelajaran. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial melalui uji independent samples t-test serta analisis koefisien determinasi.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan modul ajar AutoCAD belum memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X DPIB SMK Negeri 35 Jakarta. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,016 menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan modul ajar AutoCAD memberikan kontribusi sebesar 1,6% terhadap variasi hasil belajar siswa, sedangkan 98,4% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar variabel penelitian. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul ajar AutoCAD belum efektif apabila digunakan sebagai satu-satunya media pembelajaran. Namun, modul ajar tetap memiliki potensi sebagai bahan ajar pendamping yang dapat mendukung pembelajaran mandiri siswa apabila dikombinasikan dengan media dan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih variatif

Abstract

Communication skills are one of the important soft skills that vocational high school (SMK) students must have to support their readiness for the world of work. However, various studies show that the communication skills of SMK students are still relatively low, especially in terms of self-confidence, discussion participation, and presentation skills. This study was conducted to explore the communication skills of students majoring in Building Information Modeling Design (DPIB) at SMK Negeri 56 Jakarta and to identify the internal and external factors that influence them. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving 10th and 11th grade DPIB students as the main subjects. Data collection techniques included a attitude scale, participatory observation, and in-depth interviews with students and teachers. The data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive model through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show differences in students' confidence in communicating at different grade levels, with grade X students having lower confidence than grade XI students. Nonverbal communication is also an aspect that is not practiced even though students are aware of its urgency. In terms of verbal communication, students are able to convey ideas and critique what is being said. Students can adjust their speaking style based on different interlocutors, for example, with teachers and friends. Then, in terms of empathy and social interaction, students are already good because they care about others in terms of interacting in the scope of vocational education. Internal factors that influence communication are intrinsic motivation and self-confidence, while external factors are learning methods that support communication habits and the role of teachers outside of school hours. The development of student communication needs to be carried out systematically through real experiences in learning, communication training, and adaptive teacher guidance. Further research is recommended to expand the scope of exploration in order to obtain a wealth of findings in the aspect of communication skills.
