Abstract

Test Driven Development (TDD) is a software development approach that prioritizes writing tests before functional code. Laravel, as one of the popular PHP frameworks, provides strong support for TDD through tools like PHPUnit and Laravel Dusk. This journal discusses the concept of TDD, its benefits and challenges, and its application in developing applications with Laravel. A simple case study will also be provided to illustrate the implementation of TDD in Laravel.

Abstract

This reseach aims to evaluate the responsiveness and accuracy of two natural language processing systems, namely ChatGPT and Google BARD, in answering questions related to the Python programming language. The evaluation is conducted using the Bleu Score metric as an indicator of the accuracy of answers generated by both systems. This research involves experiments with various Python-related questions to measure the level of alignment with expected reference answers. The results indicate that the average Bleu Score for ChatGPT is 0.0088, while the average Bleu Score for Google BARD is 0.0073. Additionally, the response time for ChatGPT is recorded at 12.05 seconds, whereas Google BARD has a response time of 18.38 seconds. Although there is a small difference in accuracy, ChatGPT shows a slightly higher Bleu Score and faster response time compared to Google BARD. The conclusion of this research states that, in the context of answering questions related to the Python programming language, ChatGPT performs slightly better than Google BARD, measured in terms of answer accuracy and response time.

Abstract

Internet of Things technology has transformed manufacturing efficiency and optimization. Electrical panel manufacturing benefits from Internet of Things for better functionality, predictive maintenance, and smoother operations. This study examines the design and implementation of an Enterprise Architecture strategy for seamless Internet of Things integration in electrical panel manufacturing. This research aims to explain Enterprise Architecture and use it as a framework for Internet of Things integration in electrical panel manufacturing. This study examines the complex relationships between Internet of Things components, their connectivity, and a broad Enterprise Architecture framework needed to organize their functionality. This integration uses Enterprise Architecture principles to optimize resource use, reduce downtime, and improve manufacturing efficiency. This effort involves analyzing existing infrastructure, identifying Internet of Things deployment points, and creating an Enterprise Architecture plan that meets business goals. This research emphasizes the need for close IT-operations collaboration to achieve a unified vision and smooth Internet of Things integration. This research addresses Internet of Things implementation challenges in manufacturing, including security, data interoperability, and scalability. Strong governance and adaptable architecture are stressed to address these challenges within an Enterprise Architecture framework. This research aims to help electrical panel manufacturers harness the transformative power of the Internet of Things. Strategic Enterprise Architecture helps businesses navigate complexity, leverage Internet of Things, and create a more agile, connected, and optimized manufacturing landscape.

Abstract

Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) is a markup language used to structure and format text documents through the use of tags that control the appearance of content on web pages. HTML defines various document elements such as headings, paragraphs, images, and lists, which form the basic structure of a webpage. JavaScript, on the other hand, serves as a programming language that adds interactivity and dynamics to web pages. While HTML provides the basic framework for website layout, JavaScript enhances functionality with features that cannot be achieved through HTML alone, such as dynamically manipulating elements and responding to user interactions. Together, these two languages form the core foundation for web development. This program aims to equip students of SMAN 58 with the skills to practice using HTML tags, understand the basics of JavaScript programming, and develop interactive web pages through online simulations. The training will be conducted in stages, beginning with the submission of a proposal to the school and followed by the scheduled training in June 2024. Students will use the One Compiler platform for real-time practice, allowing them to write and execute HTML and JavaScript code directly in the browser. The training will be conducted interactively, introducing the fundamental concepts of HTML and JavaScript, along with demonstrations showing how to create dynamic websites. In the final phase, students will take a quiz designed to assess their understanding of the material and their ability to apply the knowledge gained. Through this program, it is expected that students will master the basic skills of website creation and have the ability to independently develop their own interactive web projects. Additionally, this program aims to enhance students' digital awareness and technical skills in the era of information technology.

Abstract

Business is supported with information systems. Business process is expected to run normal and stable, and deliver outputs or service as expected. However in many systems, there are risks. Risks may be either supportive or disruptive. The occurrence of risk may influence the performance of the systems. Risk management is needed during the utilization of information systems. Risk Identification, Risk Assessment and Mitigation Strategy are example of Risk Management factors. Risk Management may varies in line with type of business being supported.
