Abstract

Roads are infrastructure that function as a link between one region and another that is used by the general public, and is passed by various types of motorized vehicles. Road pavement damage often occurs before reaching the design age due to peeling due to excessive moisture. The use of vacuum residue (VR) in hot rolled sheet (HRS) mixtures for road construction involves several important technical and economic considerations. This study analyzed the Marshall characteristics of HRS mixture properties using VR. The VR used came from AMP PT. Pertamina Persero with an average asphalt content of 5.88%. The results showed that the Marshall parameters that did not meet were voids in the mixture (VIM) and voids filled with asphalt (VFA), for other parameters had met the 2018 Bina Marga specifications. The Marshall stability value obtained was 1979.55 kg with a Marshall Quotient of 395.91 kg / mm. Based on the results obtained, it shows that the use of VR in the HRS mixture can increase the Marshall stability value.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, regional improvements can be seen through infrastructure development which is one of the important and essential aspects to accelerate the development process of a country and region. The central and regional governments continue to expand infrastructure throughout Indonesia every year. Infrastructure not only concerns the development of the transportation sector such as the construction of roads and bridges, but also basic service facilities in other sectors such as the business world, education, and health. The problem of poverty can be overcome by having infrastructure that supports the local community which can be done in the form of cooperation between business entities, this is stated in Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 38 of 2015. The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of the development of road, health, education and clean water infrastructure on poverty rates using correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The data obtained came from the Central Statistics Agency of PALI Regency from 2019 - 2023. The data will be analyzed using a descriptive and quantitative approach, namely explaining the trends that occur. The results of the study showed that the variable that greatly influenced the poverty rate was the human development index (HDI) with a Pearson correlation of 0.970 and a multiple regression coefficient of 0.448.

Abstract

Lataston atau Hot Rolled Sheet (HRS) adalah jenis beton aspal bergradasi senjang dengan karakteristik durabilitas dan fleksibilitas, memungkinkan campuran bertahan dalam berbagai kondisi. Pemanfaatan vacuum residue (VR), sebagai produk sampingan dari penyulingan minyak bumi, dalam campuran HRS memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kinerja aspal. Meskipun demikian, implementasi penggunaannya harus mempertimbangkan kondisi lokal dan teknologi yang ada agar hasilnya memenuhi spesifikasi serta meningkatkan umur panjang jalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis karakteristik VR dalam campuran HRS melalui pengujian Marshall di laboratorium. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua jenis data: data primer diperoleh meliputi pengujian ekstraksi kadar aspal, berat jenis maksimum campuran, dan uji Marshall, sementara data sekunder diambil terkait seperti standar dan publikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa campuran usulan memiliki karakteristik yang baik dan memenuhi spesifikasi Bina Marga, meskipun terdapat perbedaan kecil dalam beberapa gradasi agregat. Hal ini menandakan bahwa sumber VR dapat digunakan dalam campuran dengan perhatian khusus pada ukuran agregat tertentu. Pengujian lebih lanjut direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas campuran, terutama dalam mencapai rasio Marshall Quotient yang lebih baik, guna memastikan performa optimal di lapangan.
