Abstract

ABSTRACT  This purpose of this study is three. First, describing the procedure of writing text for students of class VII in Junior High School 11 Padang before using the Think Talk Write (TTW) technique by the media of serial images. Secondly, describing the procedure of writing text for students of class VII in Junior High School 11 Padang after using the TTW technique by the media of serial images. Third, analyzing the effect of the use of  TTW  techniqueby the media of serial images on the skills of writing procedure text for students of class VII in Junior High School 11 Padang. This type of research is quantitative research with one group pretest and posttest design experimental methods. There are three results of this study. First, the procedure of writing text in the seventh grade of Junior High School 11 Padang before using the TTW technique by the media of serial images is of good qualification (B) with an average value of 76,95 (under of minimal completeness criteria). Second, the procedure of writing text in the seventh grade of Junior High School 11 Padang after using the TTW technique by the media of serial images is of good qualification (B) with an average grade of 81,51 (above of minimal completeness criteria). Third, based on the t-test, H1 is accepted at the 95% confidence level and dk= (n1 as a numerator and n2 as denominator) because tcount>ttable (2,39>1,70).  Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, Teknik TTW, Media Gambar Berseri, Teks Prosedur

Abstract

Reading interest is one of the important things in understanding classroom learning. However, reading interest at this time is still a problem faced by teachers in schools. This study aims to: (1) describe the reading interest of class IX SMP N 1 Pariaman students, (2) describe the learning outcomes to understand the description text of class IX SMP N 1 Pariaman students, and (3) describe the relationship between reading interest and learning outcomes discussion of class IX students of SMP N 1 Pariaman. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using the description method. Interest in reading and learning outcomes are described in several points. The results of this study indicate that there is a correlation between reading interest and learning outcomes understanding the discussion text of class IX SMP N 1 Pariaman.

Abstract

Penggunaan lahan adalah upaya manusia yang dilakukan terus menerus dalam memenuhi kebutuhannya. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pengaturan penggunaan lahan pertanian sesuai kemampuan sumber daya lahan melalui Zona Agroekologi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pembagian zona sub zona agroekologi dan arahan penggunaan lahan pada kawasan lereng Gunung Marapi Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini tergolong kedalam pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan penerapan metode fuzzy logic dalam evaluasi kesesuaian lahan untuk tanaman pertanian (pangan, perkenbunan, dan holtikultura). Hasil penelitian ini mayoritas wilayah kawasan lereng gunung marapi adalah zona II dengan luas 13.318,05 Ha atau 41,61 % dari luas total wilayah. Subzona di kawasan lereng gunung marapi terdapat kategori subzona D (lahan kering) dan W (lahan basah). Mayoritas subzona diwilayah ini adalah subzona D (lahan kering) yang memiliki luas 98,97% dari total wilayah dengan luas 28.141 hektar dan subzona W (lahan basah) memiliki luas 1,03% dengan luas 291 hektar.
