Abstract

Abstract: Today the development of business in this globalization era has increased dramatically. Creative innovation in creating comfortable atmosphere can increase the unity that competes in differentiation strategy and marketing efforts. With rapid business development, in line with the rapid growth of competition. This makes businessman aware of the competitive position of the industry so they must maintain a competitive advantage. This study aims to determine the effect of Store Layout and Interior Display on Customer Purchasing Decision at Multimart Tomohon. This research uses quantitative methods and the total sample is 100 respondents. The results of this study show the effect of Store Layout (X1) on Customer Purchasing Decision (Y) is equal to 0.000 < 0.05 and the value of tcount 3.696 > ttable 1.98472, the effect of Interior Display (X2) on Customer Purchasing Decision (Y) is 0.880 < 0.05 and the value of tcount 5.051 < ttable 1.98472. It means that Store Layout and Interior Display have significant influence on Customer Purchasing Decision and simultaneously all variables in this research have significant influence on Customer Purchasing Decision. Recommendation for Multimart Tomohon is to increase the quality and the convenience of the store layout and interior displays.Keywords: store layout, interior display, customer purchasing decision

Abstract

Abstract: The number of hotels In Manado always increase. It creates the competition in hotel industry is more competitive. This research aims to analyze how important service attributes for the customer of Four Points Hotel Manado and how is the performance of service attributes of Four Points Hotel Manado. In order to determine the value of variables of service attributes, this research uses Importance and Performance Analysis in order to analyze the data. 100 guests who stayed there were surveyed as the respondents. The result shows there are employee attitude located in quadrant I it means the attributes has a high importance and low performance. Cleanliness, room price, location, and parking area are located in quadrant II which means these attributes has high importance and high performance. Hotel design, housekeeping service, restaurant and room facilities located in quadrant III which means these attributes are not importance and low performance. Internet located in quadrant IV it means this attributes is not importance but the performance is good. Based on the result there are recommendation for Four Points Hotel to keep maintain for those attributes that have high importance and high performance and improve those attributes that have low in performance. Keywords: marketing, service marketing, service attributes, importance and performance analysis.

Abstract

Abstract: Puskesmas is a concept used in providing health services to the society. It is grounded by one of the basic human needs, that is health. This study aims to determine the influence of Total Quality Management which consists of Teamwork, Education and Training, Continuous Improvement, Obsession with Quality, Customer Focus, on Organizational Performance in Puskesmas Wori Kabupaten Minahasa Utara. Total Quality Management (TQM) is tools to improve performance of organization continuously at each level of operation or process, while Organizational Performance is the critical factors for the effectiveness of the organization itself. This research uses quantitative methods and the total sample is 50 respondents. The result is Teamwork, Education & Training, Customer Focus and obsession with Quality don?t have significant influence on organizational performance do not while simultaneously all Total Quality Management variables have significant influence on Organizational Performance, where Continuous Improvement have significant influence on Organizational Performance. The recommendation is for Puskesmas Wori Kabupaten Minahasa Utara to continuously maintain the performance in all aspect. Keywords: total quality management, teamwork, education and training, continuous improvement, obsession with quality, customer focus, organizational performance.

Abstract

Abstract: Competition in the hotel industry is getting tougher, Hotel’s management are required to know what travelers are looking at hotels, how they take their decision for a selection of hotels. This research aims to analyze which selection factors are considered as important and what is the actual performance of these particular hotel selection factors at Four Points by Sheraton Manado. This research uses Importance and Performance Analysis in order to analyze the data. 100 guests who stayed there were surveyed as the respondents. The result shows there are employee service quality located in quadrant I it means this factor has a high importance and low performance. Security and rooms and receptionist are located in quadrant II means that these factors has both high importance and performance. Food and recreations located in quadrant III which means this factor are both have low importance and performance. Value located in quadrant IV it means this factor is considered less important but the performance is good. Based on the result there are recommendations for Four Points by Sheraton Manado to keep maintain those factors that have high importance and high performance and improve those factors that have low in performance.Keywords: hotel selection factors, consumer preference, service quality, customer satisfaction, importance and performance analysis.

Abstract

Abstract: Diversity of business keeps developing through times, which creates more fierce competition in business. Companies do marketing strategies to survive the competition and to stay relevant with the industry. Companies have many ways to make the business become more competitive and can overcome the competition. One of the things that can be done to survive in the industry is to pursue customer satisfaction. There are many ways to pursue customer satisfaction in which there are a diversity of products and the atmosphere of the store offered. So this research aims to know the influence of product diversity and store atmosphere on customer satisfaction at Miniso Manado. This study uses a quantitative method with questionnaires used to collect the data. This research derived and examined the model through ordinal regression model in a sample of 100 respondents who have already bought a product at Miniso Manado. The finding of this research shows that the product diversity and store atmosphere have no significant influence on customer satisfaction at Miniso Manado. Retailers should pay attention to other things such as price, the quality of product, and the service. Keywords: product diversity, store atmosphere, customer satisfaction

Abstract

There are many changes that happens to entertainment medias, which forces marketers to evolve and adjust in order to advertise products. Nowadays, product placements are becoming a prominent marketing strategy used mostly in films and television programs. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of product placement in movies and television programs towards the brand recall of millennials in Manado by using variables such as: Visual Dimension, Auditory Dimension, and Plot Connection Dimension. This research uses quantitative method with questionnaires to collect the data, and Multiple Linear Regression as the tool of analysis. The samples in this research are 96 millennials in Manado, or people aged 20- 35 years old. The findings revealed that Visual Dimension have positive relationship and significant influence toward the Brand Recall, Auditory Dimension have negative relationship and no significant influence toward the Brand Recall, and Plot Connection Dimension have positive relationship and significant influence toward the Brand Recall. Marketers need to consider extending the visual prominence of their brand, increase the frequency of mention of the product to alert and notify the viewers, and have their product well integrated to the movie or television program’s storyline.Keywords: product placement, brand recall

Abstract

A growing number of cafes in Manado accompanied by hanging out culture which is becoming increasingly common among young people nowadays becomes an interesting phenomenon. Café and bar are typically present in most urban and suburban areas. One of the area at Manado is at Kawasan Megamas Manado. Revisit intention is a factors that makes the café or restaurant keep their customer and make the café or restaurant last for a long time. There’s some factor that can affect the customer revisit intention, such as cleanliness, food quality, price, service quality, store atmosphere, and variety of product. The aim of this study is to know the most important criteria for to drive the customer revisit intention and the most preferred Café and Bar at Kawasan Megamas Manado. This research used analytical hierarchy process with sample of 60 respondents. The result shows based on six criteria (cleanliness, food quality, price, service quality, store atmosphere and variety of menu), there are top three criteria that has the most influence for customer. For the most preferred Café and Bar, Replay become the most customer revisit intention to café and bar in Manado City. Every cafe and bar in Manado needs to pay attention seriously toward these factors. Customer will seek a clean place, good atmosphere of the café and bar, and also with an affordable price. Keywords: consumer revisit intention, cleanliness, food quality, price, service quality, store atmosphere, variety of product.

Abstract

Employees are producers who play an important role in the company's success. The dedication of employees to the company is very influential. Therefore, companies need to consider factors that affect employees at work. Occupational environment and good leadership behaviors factors can improve employee morale. This study aims to identify whether or not a significant effect of occupational environment and leadership behavior on employee morale at Matahari Department Store Megamall Manado. The researcher conducted this research through quantitative methods. The method of analysis used is the multiple linear regressions. The sample used is 69 employees with saturated sampling techniques. The results showed that occupational environment (X1) partially have a significant effect on employee morale (Y), leadership behavior (X2) partially have a significant effect on employee morale (Y) and occupational environment and leadership behavior simultaneously have a significant effect on employee morale at Matahari Department Store Megamall Manado. Keywords: occupational environment, leadership behavior, employee morale
