Abstract

Stocks are indeed one of the most eye-catching investments for investors. As an investor, you need clear directions regarding the volatility of each layer of the market cap of stocks. Knowing the volatility of each layer of the market cap will provide consideration for investors before making an investment. This will involve considering the amount of return and risk that will be faced. The higher the volatility of stock prices, which gives a signal, the higher the risks that will be faced. Lower volatility signals that companies tend to have a higher market cap and lower risk. This research method uses quantitative methods with descriptive analysis and uses secondary data. The population of this study is the shares of companies listed on the IDX from 2019 to 2021, taken by purposive sampling, where at each layer of the market cap there are 30 companies. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the value of volatility in the market cap layer. While the results of risk and stock returns for each layer of market cap have differences but are not significant.

The city of Surakarta is an object because the growth of MSMEs in the fashion sector is quite high, reaching 781 new MSMEs in 2023, where the performance of MSMEs is an important discussion to research. This research aims to analyze the influence of financial aspects, financial inclusion, entrepreneurial competence and market orientation on the performance of MSMEs. The population in this study was 1,049 MSMEs in the fashion sector with 100 samples taken using a simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, F test, t test and coefficient of determination test. The results of the analysis stated that all questionnaire items as research instruments were valid and reliable, as well as the classical assumption tests, including the multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, heteroscedasticity test and normality test, all variables were declared to have passed the classical assumption test. Multiple linear regression analysis obtained the equation Y = 0.958 + 0.090X1 + 0.513X2 + 0.367X3 + 0.124X4 + e, meaning that all regression coefficients are positive, which means that the variables X1 (financial aspect), X2 (financial inclusion), X3 (entrepreneurial competence) and X4 (market orientation) have a positive effect on the performance of MSMEs in the fashion sector in Surakarta. The partial hypothesis test obtained from financial aspects and market orientation does not have a significant effect on the performance of MSMEs in the fashion sector in Surakarta, while financial inclusion and entrepreneurial competence have a significant effect on the performance of MSMEs in the fashion sector in Surakarta. The F test states that the research model for the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable is appropriate. The coefficient of determination test shows that financial aspects, financial inclusion, entrepreneurial competence and market orientation are able to explain the performance of MSMEs by 58.9%.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of financial ratios on financial distress in transportation and logistics sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2024 period. The research employed a documentation method by collecting secondary data from the companies’ financial statements within the observed period. The financial ratios analyzed include profitability, liquidity, leverage, and activity. The level of financial distress was measured using the Altman Z-Score method. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique, consisting of 22 companies observed over six years. Data analysis was conducted using panel data regression with the assistance of EViews 12, with the selected model being the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The partial test results indicate that profitability, liquidity, leverage, and activity ratios do not have a significant effect on financial distress. However, the simultaneous test results show that the four variables together significantly affect financial distress. These findings suggest that financial ratios cannot serve as a single indicator in assessing a company’s financial distress. Nevertheless, when used collectively and combined with the Altman Z-Score measurement, they can provide a more accurate assessment of a company’s financial distress condition.

Abstract

The perpetrators of the Women's Srikandi Gilingan MSME group in Banjarsari, Surakarta, are classified as living in densely populated villages with a minimal economy. So far, the Women's Srikandi Gilingan Banjarsari Surakarta UMKM group has been active in making karak crackers. Not all members are involved in making these karak crackers. In the near future, there will be a development of processed catfish products into nuggets as a driver of economic growth for the Srikandi Gilingan Women's MSME group, Banjarsari, Surakarta. The obstacle is the lack of knowledge of the MSME group in marketing their products. The low level of digitalization has made the Women's Srikandi Gilingan Banjarsari Surakarta UMKM group not have a wide range of buyers. By offering the concept of a digital marketing strategy and implementing The Seven Laws, it will provide convenience for the Women's Srikandi Gillingan Banjarsari Surakarta MSME group in optimizing product sales. The results of the FGD formulation show that there are several steps that must be taken by members, including understanding social media channels, making publications on various social media, managing channels and consistently updating, increasing traffic, starting from existing social media. The greatest hope for this implementation will have a positive impact on the development of Srikandi's MSMEs. Kata kunci: Digital Marketing, UMKM Srikandi

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which Private Label (X1) and Product Quality (X2) influence Purchase Decision (Y). The study uses a quantitative approach with sampling using the Non-Probability Sampling method. The type of data used in this study is primary data obtained from questionnaires filled out directly by respondents. Secondary data comes from books, journals, research results, practical work reports, and related to the author's research object. In this study, the population that will be taken is all consumers of Spesial Sambal Wonogiri branch, which is immeasurable. Sample measurement is determined by using the Minimum Sample Size Determination formula for SEM according to Hair et al (2010): (Number of indicators + number of latent variables) x (5 to 10 times) Based on these guidelines, the maximum sample size for this study is: Maximum sample = (17 + 3) x 5 = 100 respondents. The analysis technique used to process and discuss the data and test the hypotheses in this study is multiple regression analysis using the SPSS application tool. Meanwhile, to assess consumer responses to the indicators, the author uses the Likert scale. The analysis tool used is multiple linear regression analysis. Using the SPSS analysis tool, the results of the study show that private label (X1) and product quality (X2), both partially and simultaneously, influence Purchase Decision (Y). Abstract

This research addresses the ongoing inconsistency in prior empirical findings regarding the role of profitability, leverage, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in shaping firm value, particularly within the manufacturing sector of emerging markets. Specifically, the study examines the effect of profitability and leverage on firm value, with CSR positioned as a moderating variable in food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2021–2023 period. Adopting a quantitative approach, the research applies multiple linear regression and moderation analysis using secondary data derived from annual and sustainability reports of firms selected through purposive sampling. Firm value is measured using Tobin’s Q, while profitability and leverage are proxied by Return on Assets (ROA) and Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR), respectively. The empirical results reveal that profitability (ROA) does not have a significant impact on firm value, whereas leverage (DAR) demonstrates a positive and significant effect. Moreover, CSR neither exerts a direct influence on firm value nor functions effectively as a moderating variable in the relationship between profitability, leverage, and firm value. The low Adjusted R-squared value of 3.44% indicates that firm value is influenced by a broader set of factors beyond the financial and non-financial variables incorporated in this model, highlighting a gap in existing explanatory frameworks. Theoretically, this study contributes to the literature by providing empirical evidence that challenges the assumed strategic role of CSR as a value-enhancing mechanism in the Indonesian manufacturing context.
