Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Canva as a digital design medium in the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) with an entrepreneurship theme in elementary education. Methodology: The research investigates how Canva facilitates students' character development, particularly in creativity, independence, collaboration, and critical thinking. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach within a case study design, the study involved classroom observations, in-depth interviews with school stakeholders, and documentation analysis of student work. Data triangulation and thematic narrative analysis were used to ensure validity and richness of interpretation. Main Findings: The findings indicate that Canva significantly enhances students' engagement and character formation, supporting active, collaborative, and visually expressive learning. Teachers observed improved student autonomy and creativity, while students expressed pride and satisfaction in their work. Despite challenges such as limited device access and uneven digital literacy, adaptive strategies enabled inclusive participation. Novelty/Originality of this study: The originality of this study lies in integrating a graphic design-based platform into project-based character education aligned with the Pancasila Profile framework. The results contribute to empirical insights on innovative and culturally grounded digital learning practices for primary education in the 21st century.

Abstract

Low science learning outcomes can hinder students' ability to understand and apply science concepts in everyday life. It is hoped that learning media that integrates local wisdom, especially through digital comic media, can increase students' interest and understanding of science. This study has three main objectives: (1) to describe the implementation of media containing local wisdom in improving students' understanding of science concepts, (2) to identify obstacles and supporting factors in the application of local wisdom-based media in the classroom, and (3) to provide strategic recommendations for teachers in developing learning media. Which relevant with context local research. This use method qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation in several classes in elementary schools. Data analysis techniques Using the interactive model from Miles and Huberman that is reduction data, presentation data, And withdrawal conclusion. Results study shows that there is no digital-based learning media, still relying on textbooks. Not yet linked to local cultural wisdom, student outcomes are still low. The presence of digital comic media containing local wisdom as an effort to improve science learning outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya motivasi belajar peserta didik pada materi jaring-jaring makanan di kelas V SD Negeri Wiropaten. Tanpa motivasi belajar peserta didik cenderung kurang terlibat dalam aktivitas belajar, yang berdampak negatif pada hasil belajar mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik melalui penerapan diorama jaring-jaring makanan berbantuan vidio pembelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi yang dilakukan oleh rekan peneliti dan guru kelas serta angket yang dibagikan kepada peserta didik. Analisis data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini terdiri atas pra penelitian, siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil observasi motivasi belajar IPAS peserta didik secara berturut-turut dari pra siklus hingga siklus II adalah 41,18%; 70,59%; dan 82,35%. Sedangkan hasil angket berturut-turut 47,06%; 70,59%; dan 88,24%. Rata-rata dari hasil observasi dan angket secara berturut-turut dari pra siklus hingga siklus II yaitu 44,12%; 70,59%; dan 85,29%. Penerapan media pembelajaran berupa diorama jaring-jaring makanan berbantuan video pembelajaran terbukti dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPAS peserta didik.
