Abstract

Abstrak. Penerapan Model Quantum Teaching untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar pada Pembelajaran IPS tentang Perjuangan Mempersiapkan Kemerdekaan Indonesia di Kelas V SDN Tanjungsari Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPS melalui penerapan model quantum teaching tentang perjuangan mempersiapkan kemerdekaan Indonesia. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini merupakan penelitian kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus dengan tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi dengan subjek penelitian guru dan siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 24 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, tes dan angket. Teknik validitas yang dilakukan adalah teknik triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber data. Analisis data melalui tiga tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan model quantum teaching dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPS. Kata kunci: quantum teaching, motivasi belajar, IPS

Abstract

It is crucial to implement student character values from early age. The application of character education has been implemented at S D N 1 Surotrunan. To determine the of student character values, the researcher was interested in evaluating the implementation of strengthening character education at S D N 1 Surotrunan. The study aimed to describe the implementation of strengthening character education in Pancasila and Civic Education and to analyze the factors that affected strengthening character education in Pancasila and Civic Education at S D N 1 Surotrunan. The data were narration about research subjects obtained through data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and document study. The participants were students, class teachers, and principal. The data validity test techniques were source triangulation and technique triangulation. Data analysis techniques were data reduction, data presentation, and verification. (1) The student character values that can be observed in SD Negeri 1 Surotrunan are: (a) religious; (b) honest; (c) tolerance; (d) discipline; (e) care for the environment; (f) social care; (g) and responsibilities. Overall, the students' character values have been optimal, there are only a few values that have not been fulfilled optimally. Values that are not optimal in instilling character values are tolerance, environmental care, and social care; (2) factors affecting the strengthening character education in Pancasila and Civic Education were internal and external factors. Internal factors included: (a) feeling, (b) habit, (c) willingness, (d) mood, and (e) offspring. External factors included education and environment.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Canva as a digital design medium in the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) with an entrepreneurship theme in elementary education. Methodology: The research investigates how Canva facilitates students' character development, particularly in creativity, independence, collaboration, and critical thinking. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach within a case study design, the study involved classroom observations, in-depth interviews with school stakeholders, and documentation analysis of student work. Data triangulation and thematic narrative analysis were used to ensure validity and richness of interpretation. Main Findings: The findings indicate that Canva significantly enhances students' engagement and character formation, supporting active, collaborative, and visually expressive learning. Teachers observed improved student autonomy and creativity, while students expressed pride and satisfaction in their work. Despite challenges such as limited device access and uneven digital literacy, adaptive strategies enabled inclusive participation. Novelty/Originality of this study: The originality of this study lies in integrating a graphic design-based platform into project-based character education aligned with the Pancasila Profile framework. The results contribute to empirical insights on innovative and culturally grounded digital learning practices for primary education in the 21st century.
