Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dan Kinerja Guru terhadap Prestasi Akademik Siswa Kelas VI Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Gugus Jenderal Sudirman Kecamatan Karanggayam Kabupaten Kebumen. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 66 orang guru dan 189 orang siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik regresi sederhana dan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian ini meliputi: (1) Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap Prestasi Akademik Siswa, terbukti dari nilai Sig = 0,019 < ? = 0,050, adapun nilai koefisien korelasi (r2) = 0,083 atau berkontribusi sebesar 8,3 %; (2) Kinerja Guru memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap Prestasi Akademik Siswa Kelas, terbukti dari nilai Sig = 0,005 < ? = 0,050, adapun nilai koefisien korelasi (r2) = 0,116 atau hanya berkontribusi sebesar 11,6 %; (3) Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dan Kinerja Guru secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap Prestasi Akademik Siswa, terbukti dari nilai Sig = 0,013 < ? = 0,050, adapun nilai koefisien korelasi (R2) = 0,129 atau berkontribusi sebesar 12,9 %; (4) Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah berperan dalam meningkatkan prestasi akademik siswa; (5) Kinerja guru berperan dalam meningkatkan prestasi akademik siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran STEAM melalui Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran PKn di SD N 1 Kuwayuhan Kecamatan Pejagoan Kabupaten Kebumen. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 66 orang siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini berupa: (1) Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Bebasis STEAM melalui Problem Based Learning menggunakan langkah: Orientasi siswa pada masalah; Mengorganisasi siswa untuk belajar; Membimbing pengalaman individual/kelompok; Mengembangkan dan mempresentasikan artefak dan exhibit; Menganalisis dan mengevaluasi proses pemecahan masalah; (2) Rata rata hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan, dari 87,27 menjadi 91,97. (3) Terdapat pengaruh Pembelajaran STEAM melalui Problem Based Learning terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa, jal ini dibuktikan dengan Sig. < 0,05, atau Signifikansi nilai postes 0,017 < 0,05.

Abstract

Komunikasi berkaitan dengan keterampilan berbahasa, salah satunya menulis. Fakta di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa hasil pembelajaran manulis masih perlu ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran kaidah ejaan, kesalahan ejaan dalam karangan, dan alasan terjadi kesalahan ejaan dalam karangan siswa kelas IV. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu pembelajaran kaidah ejaan di kelas IV dengan menyelipkannya dalam materi tertentu yang ada hubungannya dengan kebahasaan. Kesalahan ejaan dalam karangan siswa yaitu pemakaian huruf (vokal, konsonan, diftong, kapital, miring, dan tebal), penulisan kata (dasar, berimbuhan, bentuk ulang, gabungan kata, kata depan, kata partikel, singkatan dan akronim, angka dan bilangan, serta kata ganti), pemakaian tanda baca (titik, koma, titik dua, tanda hubung, tanda pisah, tanda tanya, tanda seru, dan tanda petik, dan penulisan unsur serapan mengenai penulisan unsur asing yang penulisan dan pengucapannya disesuaikan dengan kaidah bahasa Indonesia. Alasan terjadinya kesalahan ejaan yaitu faktor internal dan eksternal.

Abstract

The Monkey Training Academy indirectly implements progressive paedagogic principles. The Monkey Training Academy also applies the four pillars of education according to UNESCO (learning to know, learning to do, learning to live with others, and learning to be someone). This literature research can inspire educators to be creative. Sources of research data in the form of books "Learning from Monkey" by Rung Kaewdang, 2002. Education is implemented with cheap and applicable able to print skilled learners. However, in this era not only skills are targeted, but also creative and innovative learners. Privileges in APM are the patience of a teacher facing various learners' character and can turn it into a better direction.

Abstract

Hasil belajar IPS setiap siswa memiliki perbedaan, rendah dan tingginya hasil belajar IPS siswa dapat diindikasikan dari rendah tingginya dukungan lingkungan keluarga terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lingkungan keluarga dengan hasil belajar IPS siswa dan mengetahui sumbangan lingkungan keluarga terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode korelasi dengan sampel berjumlah 332 siswa kelas V di dua belas SDN se-Kecamatan Kebumen yang dipilih secara acak dengan teknik probability sampling jenis cluster random sampling dengan bantuan SPSS 21. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 dan mencari sumbangan variabel dengan rumus koefisien determinan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang positif antara lingkungan keluarga dengan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SDN se-Kecamatan Kebumen (nilai Sig. 0,000 < 0,05). Lingkungan keluarga memberikan sumbangan terhadap hasil belajar IPS sebesar 9% dan sisanya 91% dipengaruhi faktor lain. Hal tersebut berarti semakin baik lingkungan keluarga, maka akan semakin baik hasil belajar IPS siswa

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) apply lesson study in the development of learning materials based on local potential to improve the professional competence of primary school teachers in Kebumen in 2016; (2) produce learning materials based on local potential through lesson study as an effort to improve the professional competence of elementary school teachers in Kebumen in 2016. This study overall approach development (Research and Development / R & D). These research subjects were elementary school teachers in Kebumen numbered 50 people. Selection of study subjects according to the school characteristics, was by observing the accreditation status of the school and teacher status. The collection of data  were through (1) Focus Group Discussion (FGD). (2) observation, (3) test, (4) study the documentation, (5) interview, (6) checklish behavior, and (7) video. It can be concluded: (1) Lesson study based on learning materials development of local potential improve the professional competence of elementary school teachers in Kebumen 2015. (2) Lesson study can produce learning materials based on local potential quality. Improving the quality of the results of the implementation of lesson study the development of learning materials based on local potential to improve the professional competence of elementary school teachers in Kebumen 2015 reached 90%.Keywords: professional competence, lesson study, the local potential.

Abstract

Building the students characteristics is one of the goals of national education of Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of democratic parenting of parents and teacher personality to the characteristics of the third grade elementary school students in the Kartini Cluster, Purworejo District. This research is a quantitative research that uses the regression method. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded: 1) There are a positive and significance effects between democratic parenting of parents to the students characteristics. 2) There are a positive and significance effects between the teacher personality to the student characteristics. 3) There are a positive and significance effects between the democratic parenting of parents and the teacher personality to the students characteristics. This proved that there are a positive and significance effects of the three research variables, namely democratic parenting of parents, teacher personality, and students characteristic.

Abstract

Critical thinking is a higher-order thinking skill that must be fostered during learning. This study aims to provide insights into the achievement of critical thinking skills among students through the implementation of the problem-based learning model in the geometry course. The research methodology employed in this study is descriptive in nature. The participants consisted of 40 Primary School Teacher Education students, who were divided into high, medium, and low-ability groups. Data were collected through written tests and observations. Twelve indicators of critical thinking skills were measured, with ten indicators assessed through written tests and two indicators through observations. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The study's findings indicate that students' critical thinking skills, as assessed through tests and observations, are considered good in the high, medium, and low groups. This is evident from the average percentages of 83.16% for the high group, 76.40% for the medium group, and 72.08% for the low group, respectively. Students in the high-ability group demonstrated a significantly excellent level of critical thinking skills. In conclusion, applying the PBL model significantly enhances students' critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

Continuous professional development (CPD) for teachers is crucial for enhancing their professional capabilities, particularly in pedagogical skills. Despite its importance, several barriers and challenges impede the effective development of the teaching profession. This study aims to investigate these obstacles through the perceptions of elementary school students and teachers, providing insights into the current state of CPD in education. A survey method was used to gather data from 150 participants, including students and teachers, to explore their perceptions of CPD. The survey focused on various aspects of CPD, including educational practices, learning processes, professional development activities, and supporting mechanisms. The findings revealed significant differences in perceptions between students and teachers across the examined aspects. Teachers predominantly prioritized the learning process in their professional development efforts. Major obstacles identified included a lack of motivation and insufficient intervention for practicing teachers. Additionally, a critical challenge for teachers was the deficiency of high-quality resources necessary to conduct effective research in learning methodologies. The disparity in perceptions between students and teachers highlights the need for more targeted CPD programs that address the specific needs of educators. Enhancing motivation and providing adequate support and resources are essential for overcoming these barriers. Addressing these challenges can lead to more effective teaching practices and ultimately improve the quality of education. This study underscores the importance of understanding the barriers and challenges to CPD from both students' and teachers' perspectives. By prioritizing the learning process and addressing motivational and resource-related issues, stakeholders can better support the professional development of teachers, leading to improved pedagogical outcomes.
