Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pendidikan pemakai berpengaruh terhadap tingkat library anxiety pemustaka di perpustakaan SMAN 1 Tegal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan desain klasik. Sampel yang diambil berjumlah 30 responden dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan Wilcoxon rank test dan U Mann Whitney test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa seluruh responden kelompok uji mengalami kenaikan skor posttest setelah diberikan treatment pendidikan pemakai. Sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol yang tidak diberikan treatment, 11 responden (73,33%) mengalami penurunan skor posttest, 3 responden (20%) mengalami kenaikan skor, dan 1 responden (6,66%) memiliki skor yang sama antara pretest dan posttest. Berdasarkan hasil uji signifikansi posttest didapatkan nilai p-value sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 , maka hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak dan menerima hipotesis alternatif (Ha). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendidikan pemakai berpengaruh terhadap library anxiety pemustaka di perpustakaan SMAN 1 Tegal.

Abstract

A Vitual or Digital Library is one of the systems that has many types of services as well as information objects that support access from those information objects through a digital device. The ebook management managed by Unnes Library aims to provide ease in searching for information such as pictures, documents, as well as databases in digital formats quickly, precisely, and accurately. Collection on a digital library is not limited to electronic documents substituting print books alone, but collection is emphasized on the contents of information, the type from the documents to the results of its tracing. ebook management is essentially an ebook cataloguing program itself. The software stores countless ebook files in a database along with its metadata. eBook is the equivalent of conventional books, the difference in writing is inside digital media. The ebook is read through certain software, commonly referred to as the ebook reader. Even ebook file formats vary, some are pdfs that can be opened with acrobat reader. There are also html-shaped, openable ones with browsing/internet exploration. ebook is an electronic version of a printed book, if the book is generally composed of paper sets while ebook is digital information that can contain pictures or text. In the digital age ebooks began to be in demand because they were small in size, easily accessible anywhere, had more interesting search features, too, the words could be easily as well as quickly rediscovered when searched. It is in this context that the Unnes Library realized its commitment as a House of Sciences that wants to upgrade conventional library services to digital/virtual libraries, which is an accelerated part of innovation by utilizing the ebook Management application as as the management of Electronic Books that have been collected by the Unnes Library.

Abstract

Plagiarism is an academic crime that greatly disrupts the performance of a University. The creative works of writing created by the academic community of Semarang State University need to be protected for their authenticity. Sometimes students' writings in the process of creating written works in the form of theses, dissertations and dissertations must include other written works as citations to support the novelty of their writing. Since 2021, the Semarang State University Library Unit has been appointed as the gateway for selecting student writings to be submitted to the Final Assignment Examination. Through the procedures that have been prepared, each student who will take the final exam submits online in the form of a document file that will be processed by the Library Unit staff and provide the results of the document. From the documents that have been sent and uploaded in the Turnitin application, a similarity presentation is produced. The results of this similarity make it an interesting material to study the percentage level of the initial writing and the improvements sent in the similarity submission. This study will look at Turnitin data submitted in 2022. The data is 8000 Turnitin submission data and its improvements. From this data, it can be expected that this study aims to determine how effective the use of the Turnitin application is in filtering final assignment writing from students before being tested by the examining committee at the Faculty. After being tested and declared passed, this final assignment will be published in the Unnes repository on the page http://lib.unnes.ac.id . The output produced in this study is targeted to be published in a national journal indexed by Sinta, namely the Journal of Educational Research https://journal.unnes.ac.id/nju/index.php/JPP . This study is expected to be used as a reference for managers of library materials from students' work that are ready to be published so that they are safe from plagiarism.
