Abstract

Gas metan murupakan gas yang bersifat lebih ringan di udara, mudah terbakar, tidak berbau dan tidak berwarna yang terdapat pada lapisan batu bara. Sehingga sering terjadi kecelakaan di tambang batu bara. Alat ukur  gas metan  hanya dapat mengukur keadaan kadar gas di dalam tambang batu bara dan tidak dapat dikirimkan ke luar tambang batu bara. Pada penelitian  ini dirancang sebuah alat yang dapat memonitoring kadar gas metan yang terdapat di dalam tambang batu bara. Pada sistem monitoring ini memanfaatkan sensor MQ-4 sebagai pendeteksi, bluetooth HC-05 sebagai pengirim ke luar tambang dan Arduino sebagai pengolah datanya. Pada alat monitoring juga menggunakan aplikasi android untuk mengirimkan kadar gas metan  ke penambang batu bara. Pada saat normal kadar gas metan di dalam tambang batu baradibawah 4% dan keadaan bahaya diatas 5%. Dari hasil penelitian ini, kadar gas metan yang terdapat pada tambang batu bara dikirimkan ke luar tambang. Dapat memperingati para penambang batu bara yang akan melakukan pekerjaan tambang.

Abstract

To obtain a small earth (near zero) resistivity value is determined by the number of planted electrodes and soil type properties. Difficulty in obtaining this small resistivity value often errors in estimating soil properties or soil type resistance so that failure to obtain soil barriers often occurs.To determine the desired amount of material can be measured soil type resistor value, by measuring the soil resistivity value so that the estimated material cost estimation can be achieved well. then in this research using geoelectric method with Schlumberger configuration. Schlumberger method is a method with a constant system of spacing rules with the note of the 'n' multiplier is the comparison of the distance between the C1-P1 or (C2-P2) electrodes with P1-P2. The instrument used is a resistivity meter ( Naniura) equipped with four electrodes which have the ability to read output voltage response due to current injected into the ground surface through two current electrodes and two potential electrodes. In this study used progress to map the 2D isoresistivity beneath the measured surface. .The results of this soil resistivity measurement can be determined with certainty the amount of material used and the cost of workmanship provided to establish the proper grounding system to be attached to a 20 kV Distribution substation at the State Polytechnic Padang State Electricity Laboratory. Abstract

The problem of harmonics in electric power system can not be ignored, because with the increasing use of non-linear equipment (eg flouresent lamp), that flouresent lamp can cause harmonics in odd order of multiples of 3 that is equal to 15% , in this research two measurements are measured by using flouresent lamp load and incandescent lamp as comparison. The measurement used in this research is to use the harmonic power analysis instrument. From the result of measurement, it is found that in the experiments on 3 phase 4-wire system when the incandescent lamps are given each phase is balanced, the current in the neutral conductor is 0.08 Amper. While in the second experimental 3 phase 4-wire system when given 2x40 Watt flouresent lamp loads that each phase is balanced, then the current in the neutral conductor becomes excess that is equal to 0.26 Amper. The results of this measurement indicate that the harmonics caused by flouresent lamps are very worrying if the neutral cable carrier used on small-diameter electrical installation network, this could endanger the installation of fire.

Abstract

This paper discusses artificial neural network to controlling frequency and voltage generator using control system based – on diagonal recurrent neural network. Reference model for purpose controlling generator frequency and voltage i.e. at settling time 50 Hz and 380 V (line-to line) respectively. Observation shows that control system based-on diagonal recurrent neural network has good performance in the case of controlling frequency and voltage of plant generator.

Abstract

Motor induksi paling banyak digunakan pada peralatan industri maupun pada peralatan rumah tangga, karena harganya relatif murah dan perawatannya juga lebih mudah, jika dibandingkan dengan jenis motor lainnya. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan suatu metoda penyalaan MOSFET (Switching MOSFET) menggunakan sebuah mini PC untuk mengontrol kecepatan dari motor induksi satu fasa. Mini PC merupakan suatu perangkat komputer dengan ukuran kecil yang memiliki sistem operasi tertentu. Salah satu perangkat mini PC adalah Raspberry Pi. Raspberry Pi memiliki fitur GPIO (general purpose input output) yang berfungsi sebagai port-port yang mengirimkan perintah sesuai instruksi atau program yang dibuat. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan mini PC sebagai pengontrol kecepatan motor induksi, dapat membuat berbagai variasi PWM (pulse width modulation) untuk penyalaan MOSFET, sehingga dapat diketahui performa dari motor induksi serta pengaruh kecepatannya terhadap variasi dari PWM yang diset pada Raspberry Pi.

Abstract

Car security system is something that needs to be considered in everyday life. Often car owners keep an eye on their cars parked in public places. The car is equipped with a security system from the manufacturer but it is only local or only in the form of an alarm in the car, so it cannot be heard from afar by the car owner. So we need a car security that can tell the car owner if there is a thief or break the glass where the car owner is. This IoT-based car safety device uses experiments, namely by conducting trials if there is a car thief in front of the car door. This tool uses a PIR sensor to detect human movement in front of the car door and a vibration sensor to detect vibrations at the car door. Both sensors are used to detect thieves or break cars. The microcontroller used is the Node MCU ESP8266 which will process the second input and send a message to telegram if there is a car thief. Buzzer is used as a local alarm if there is a car thief. PIR sensor can detect humans within a range of 1 meter more than 1 meter does not detect humans. While the vibration sensor will be high if there is a vibration on the car door. The response time of the MCU Node sending a message to the owner's cell phone via telegram is 6.05 seconds. This security tool works well in detecting thieves or breaking car windows.

Abstract

Sugarcane is an agricultural product that has a major role in the development of agriculture in Indonesia. The potential production conditions of sugarcane can produce molasses. Molasses is a by-product of the manufacture of cane sugar. Automatic temperature regulation in the distillation process, namely the separation of chemical substances to produce bioethanol from molasses, namely the temperature at the boiling point of bioethanol or alcohol. From the reference I got, molasses (molasses) contains 50-60% sugar, molasses contains sugar content to produce ethanol (Alcohol). Ethanol from distillation is to separate chemical raw materials which are affected by temperature at the time of distillation, the constant temperature at the time of distillation is at 298 K (25 ° C or 77 ° F). This tool uses a control system to control the quality of ethanol by using an electronic nose. in the form of an MQ-3 sensor as a reading of molasses vapor and an LCD as monitoring the increase in alcohol temperature.
