Abstract

Background: In the hospital, fatigue, and workload are factors that can affect the performance of nurses so that they can cause mistakes in working for nurses, and can endanger the health and safety of patients and nurses. Research Objectives: To analyze the relationship between workload and work fatigue with the performance of nurses in the inpatient room at RSU GMIM Bethesda Tomohon. Method: This type of research is quantitative with a research design using a cross-sectional approach. The population is 70 respondents with a sample of 65 respondents. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The independent variables in this study are workload, work fatigue, and the dependent variable of nurse performance. The research data were analyzed univariately and bivariate using the Spearman rho test. Results: The test results show that the significance value is 0.018 ˂ α = 0.05 and the correlation coefficient is 0.293. This means that there is a relationship between workload and nurse performance with weak relationship strength. The study’s results showed a significant relationship between work fatigue and nurse performance showing a significance value of 0.009 ˂ 0.01 and a correlation coefficient of 0.321 with weak relationship strength. Conclusion: This study concludes that workload and work fatigue are factors related to the performance of nurses at General Hospital GMIM Bethesda Tomohon.

Abstract

Hypertension is an increase in systolic blood pressure of more than 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure of more than 90 mmHg. Short Message Service functions to remind users. Treatment compliance is the behavior of patients who follow or comply with all advice recommended by medical personnel. This research aims to determine whether there is an effect of Short Message Service Reminder on adherence to taking anti-hypertension medication in hypertension patients at the Kakaskasen Community Health Center. The research method used a quasi-experimental design (control group pre-post test with control group design consisting of 36 respondents for the intervention group and 36 respondents for the control group. Using the MARS questionnaire. Analysts used the Wilcoxon test. The research results in the intervention group showed a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05) which means there is a significant effect of SMS Reminder on adherence to taking anti-hypertension medication in hypertensive patients, while in the control group, the analysis shows a p-value of 0.317 (>0.05) which means there is no significant effect on adherence to taking anti-hypertension medication in hypertensive patients. Conclusion: This Short Message Service Reminder intervention can be implemented in health service institutions, both in hospitals and community health centers, to increase adherence to medication in hypertension patients so that blood pressure can be controlled.

Abstract

Beban kerja yang berlebihan ini sangat mempengaruhi produktivitas tenaga kesehatan dan tentunya produktivitas perawat. Faktor yang mempengaruhi beban kerja perawat adalah kondisi pasien yang selalu berubah, dan rata-rata jumlah jam menyusui yang diperlukan untuk memberikan pelayanan langsung kepada pasien melebihi kemampuan seseorang. Kondisi ini dapat memicu stres kerja. Stres kerja merupakan salah satu bentuk permasalahan pada perawat dan dapat menyebabkan penurunan semangat kerja, dan prestasi kerja, serta peningkatan risiko intervensi yang dapat membahayakan pasien atau perawat itu sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara beban kerja perawat dengan stres kerja perawat di Ruang Rawat Inap RSU GMIM Sonder. Desain penelitian ini merupakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional yang terdiri dari 33 responden. Uji statistik menggunakan uji rho Spearmen. Hasil analisis menunjukkan p-value sebesar 0,000 (<0,05), yang berarti terdapat hubungan antara beban kerja perawat dengan stres kerja perawat di Ruang Rawat Inap RS GMIM Sonder. Disarankan agar lembaga pelayanan menambah staf perawat mereka untuk mengatasi beban kerja dan stres kerja perawat. ereka untuk mengatasi beban kerja dan stres kerja perawat.
