Abstract

AbstractOvercoming anger in children and adolescents becomes a challenge considering children and adolescents cannot yet understand and manage anger. Most of teenagers tend to manifest anger in the form of aggressive behavior. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of cognitive behavior anger management training (CB-AMT) on increasing anger management related knowledge and reducing aggression in junior high school students identified as having aggression behavior problem. The study design was one group pretest-posttest with a total of six participants consists of two girls and four boys. Each participant was identified as being in borderline clinical range in the aspect of aggression using child behavior checklist (CBCL). Participants attended three sessions of training with duration ranging from 120-150 minutes each. Statistical analysis using Wilcoxon showed that there is an increase in knowledge right after training. One month after the training, all participants experienced a decrease in aggression scores based on CBCL. Four participants experienced a change in category from the borderline clinical range to normal range. CB-AMT effective in increasing anger manager related knowledge and reducing aggression in junior high school students. Keywords: Aggression; Cognitive Behavioral Anger Management Training (CB-AMT); Early adolescence  Abstrak Mengatasi rasa marah pada anak-anak dan remaja menjadi suatu tantangan mengingat anak-anak dan remaja belum memiliki kemampuan untuk memahami dan mengatur rasa marah. Mayoritas remaja cenderung mewujudkan rasa marah dalam bentuk perilaku agresi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan cognitive behavioral anger management training (CB-AMT) dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan yang berhubungan dengan anger management dan menurunkan perilaku agresi siswa SMP yang teridentifikasi memiliki permasalahan perilaku agresi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian one group pretest-posttest dengan partisipan sebanyak enam orang yang terdiri atas dua orang perempuan dan empat orang laki-laki. Seluruh partisipan teridentifikasi berada pada borderline clinical range pada aspek agresi menggunakan pengukuran CBCL. Partisipan mengikuti tiga sesi pelatihan dengan durasi masing-masing berkisar antara 120 – 150 menit. Analisis statistik menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan tepat setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Satu bulan setelah pelatihan diberikan diketahui seluruh partisipan mengalami penurunan skor agresi berdasarkan pengukuran CBCL. Empat dari enam partisipan mengalami perubahan rentang agresi menjadi normal range setelah sebelumnya berada pada borderline clinical range. CB-AMT terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan berhubungan dengan anger management dan menurunkan perilaku agresi pada siswa SMP. Abstract

Food safety is an essential aspect of sanitation science. Food safety is an essential characteristic of life, both for food producers and consumers. Therefore, food processing enterprises must prioritize hygiene standards for the common good and maintain consumer confidence by improving food security assurances. The consumption of tempe by Indonesian people is relatively high because there is an advantage that tempe has in terms of nutritional value over other foods. The regulations of the Minister of Industry were issued by the Drug and Food Supervisory Authority (BPOM) 14 years ago, and the artisans should have already carried out the production process following the requirements of the regulations. The study aims to evaluate compliance with good manufacturing practices in Tempe production and analyze the correlation between compliance with good manufacturing practices and profits. The study was conducted in May 2024 in the village of Sepande. The number of respondents in this study is 50 tempe artisans, with the probability sampling techniques taking into account that Sepande Village is the area that has the most tempe industry homes and the highest tempe producer in the Candi district. The analysis method used in the first instance is the GMP assessment checklist form, then analyzed using the GAP Analysis method to analyze the gaps that occur, and in the second instance to analyze the costs and profits, then provide a list of questions with the Likert scale method, then correlated using the help of SPSS software with the Spearman Rank Test. The results show that based on the assessment of the aspects of Good Processed Food Production in Tempe products in the village of Sepande, the level of compliance has been applied following the regulations of the ministry as well as the benefits that influence the way good processed food is produced.

Abstract

Sensory processing difficulties in early childhood have become a prominent concern for both educators and parents due to their potential to impact multiple areas of child development. Children who present with sensory challenges often experience delays in cognitive, emotional, and motor domains. One significant protective factor in addressing such issues is sufficient parental knowledge regarding sensory processing and the application of appropriate stimulation strategies. This community engagement program was designed to enhance parents’ understanding of sensory processing, common sensory issues in young children, and effective approaches to support their development. The initiative targeted 63 parents of children aged 2 to 6 years and utilized a direct psychoeducational method delivered by a licensed psychologist. Feedback from participants indicated that the psychoeducational content was well-received and deemed valuable. Additionally, the intervention proved effective in improving parents’ knowledge and awareness of sensory processing issues in early childhood. Considering the critical role sensory processing plays in early learning and development, it is recommended that similar psychoeducational initiatives be replicated on a broader scale to reach a larger population of parents and caregivers.Permasalahan mengenai sensori pada anak usia dini menjadi salah satu fokus perhatian baik guru maupun orangtua. Anak-anak usia dini yang menunjukkan permasalahan sensori cenderung mengalami hambatan dalam aspek perkembangan lainnya. Salah satu faktor protektif isu sensori pada anak adalah pengetahuan yang memadai dari orangtua mengenai permasalahan sensori dan langkah stimulasi yang tepat. Pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan tujuan memberikan pengetahuan pada orangtua mengenai pemrosesan sensori pada anak, permasalahan sensori yang dapat muncul, dan cara yang tepat untuk mengoptimalkan pemrosesan sensori anak. Pengabdian dilaksanakan kepada 63 orangtua dengan anak usia 2-6 tahun. Bentuk pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah psikoedukasi bersama dengan psikolog dengan metode psikoedukasi langsung tanpa pelatihan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa materi yang diberikan dinilai baik dan bermanfaat untuk orangtua. Selain itu, psikoedukasi yang dilakukan efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan orangtua mengenai isu sensori pada anak usia dini. Kegiatan serupa disarankan untuk direplikasi kepada lebih banyak orangtua mengingat pentingnya pemrosesan sensori sebagai landasan belajar pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the implementation of the school literacy movement on interest in continuing education to higher education at SMA Dharma Bhakti Palembang. This research aims to analyze the influence of the implementation of the school literacy movement on students' interest in continuing their education to higher education at SMA Dharma Bhakti Palembang. The research method used is quantitative research, mostly carried out using statistical methods, which are used to collect quantitative data from research studies. The results of this research, the School Literacy Movement has a positive influence on Interest in Continuing Higher Education, are partially accepted. Based on the simple linear regression equation above, it can be concluded that the School Literacy Program variable (X) has an average results in its influence on Interest in Continuing Higher Education (Y2) at SMA Dharma Bhakti Palembang.
