Abstract

This paper shows some of the research results. The result of this research shows that the boiler efficiency at operational condition (present) is 79,32% decreased efficiency equal to 9,19% compared with operational condition with efficiency as big as 88,51%. One of the factors analyzing the declining efficiency of the boiler is greatly influencing the heat transfer process, because if there is dirt or crust on the boiler pipe and the fouling, it will result in the process of heat transfer will decrease so that the heat transfer rate will decrease, and will also affect the amount of heat losses in the boiler.

Abstract

The use of ships as transportation vessels has a relatively low accident rate due to the incorporation of prevention and mitigation facilities in ship construction. However, with the increasing demand and variety of ships, the need for electrical energy on board fluctuates significantly. Utilizing ship power generators can harness solar energy as an alternative source of electrical energy. Indonesia's solar energy potential is approximately 4.8 kWh/m2, covering regions across the country. Therefore, the research team aims to develop the KISAT SAKSI (Bright Solar Fishing Boat, Leak Threat Sensor System) energy. Solar energy is abundant near the equator and available throughout the year, except during rainy seasons. Solar energy can be used as an alternative to traditional, increasingly limited, and expensive energy sources. The data contained in this document are derived from publications, manufacturers, relevant government agencies, scientific literature, and other sources. Solar energy utilization as electrical energy can be achieved by installing solar panels on ships. The generated electrical energy can power ship propellers, electrical equipment, be used for ship lighting at night, or serve as a leak detection tool for fishing boats. The utilization of solar power systems can also have positive impacts on fishermen, including enhancing health, economics, environmental sustainability, and fostering independent fishermen.

Abstract

Sistem keamanan yang semakin maju, pengamanan pintu rumah menjadi hal yang sangat  penting. Setiap rumah pasti memiliki pintu.

Abstract

The addition of dimples to small-scale wind turbine blades can improve the energy extraction of horizontal axis wind turbines (HAWTs). However, although there is some understanding of how dimples affect wind turbine power, the effects of specific wind turbine blade stress parameters remain to be investigated. This article describes the impact of adding dimples to small-scale horizontal axis wind turbine (SSHAWT) blades. The results showed that the addition of dimples to SSHAWT 3, revealed that the addition of dimples with 27 dimples resulted in the highest turbine power, compared to the baseline wind turbine blade, with an average turbine output power of 362.25 w, at a wind speed of 6 m/s. The addition of dimples to wind turbine blades can be a suggestion for improving the performance of small-scale wind turbines.
