Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to describe the code switching used on a conversation in 5 Ji Kara 9 Ji Made drama. The purpose of this research is to determine the type of code and the causes of code switching. The object of research in the form of 5 Ji Kara 9 Made drama. This research is a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this research were (1) There are 14 data using code switching in dialogue conversations, 10 data included into the type of code switching situational and 4 data is included into the type of code metaphorical (2) the causes of the code switching caused by the speaker, the person said and hearer as: changing the situation from the formal into informal, to benefit themselves, to reinforce their opinions and to demonstrate the ability of a foreign language to the listener. Each of code used by each speaker through the communication to explain what has been achieved from the speech uttered by each speaker where the speech has its own meaning and purpose.Keywords: sociolinguistics, code switching, drama.

Abstract

The success of regional development cannot be separated from the synergy of various parties to collaborate in improving community welfare. The synergy of Pentahelix, namely academics, universities, industry, government, community and media is an important factor in achieving development success. Pentahelix is expected to be able to synergize well so that regional economic development targets with a local wisdom approach in the digital era can be achieved. The problem in Tana Toraja Regency is the lack of business development, especially Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), even though the tourism business in Tana Toraja has extraordinary potential. The beauty of various cultural tourism destinations, coffee products and high-quality woven fabrics. This potential should provide opportunities for MSMEs to succeed but it is difficult to develop their business. Based on this, a pentahelix collaboration strategy is needed to develop the potential of MSMEs in the Tana Toraja tourist destination area. The method of community service through stages: (1) exploration with all elements of the pentahelix (2) socializing the pentahelix synergy in the national seminar forum (3) observing problems in the Toraja area (3) initial survey of MSME development needs in Toraja (4) implementation of service with MSME partners. The output obtained from the implementation of this Service and Empowerment Program is to increase the knowledge (capacity building) and skills (soft skills) of entrepreneurs in the development of MSMEs in the Tana Toraja Regency area.

Abstract

Paket C merupakan salah satu jenis Pendidikan Luar Sekolah yang diselenggarakan oleh PKBM dan sederajat dengan SMA. Paket pembelajaran C membutuhkan pendekatan yang sesuai. Pendekatan andragogi yang tepat dalam program paket pendekatan Andragogi sangat dibutuhkan. Prinsip-prinsip ini digunakan karena mayoritas siswa melakukannya. Orang dewasa memiliki cara belajar yang berbeda, sehingga pendekatan andragok harus digunakan untuk memungkinkan siswa melakukan ini Kesediaan untuk belajar. Dalam hal ini, dapat dirumuskan sebagai Bagaimana menerapkan pendekatan andragogi, Bagaimana motivasi siswa di Paket C serta Pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Andragogi. Penerapan konsep andragogi oleh tutor setara paket C berfokus pada motivasi warga belajar, sehingga memotivasi warga belajar untuk berpartisipasi dalam proses pembelajaran dan mendorong keterlibatan yang tinggi dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana tutor sebaya pack C menggunakan konsep andragogi dalam memotivasi pembelajaran pack C. Ada hubungan antara pendekatan andragogi agar menjadi tutor yang sukses. Tutor perlu mengembangkan kreativitasnya untuk menggunakan referensi. Dari sudut pandang teknis, pengorganisasian ide sangat konsisten, lengkap, dan mudah dibaca dan dipahami. Menerapkan Rujukan manajemen pembelajaran Efektif untuk Meningkatkan Kompetensi Peserta.

Abstract

Desa Wisata Pulau Belimbing di Kabupaten Kampar, Riau, menjadi fokus penelitian ini karena perannya yang signifikan dalam pelestarian budaya Melayu dan pengembangan pariwisata lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif untuk mengeksplorasi fenomena budaya melalui kegiatan Culture Experience, yang melibatkan observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini tidak hanya memperkenalkan tradisi lokal seperti kuliner dan kerajinan tangan, tetapi juga menciptakan pengalaman edukatif bagi wisatawan. Masyarakat setempat, melalui partisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan wisata, berhasil mempertahankan identitas budaya mereka sambil meningkatkan pendapatan ekonomi. Pembahasan mengungkapkan bahwa interaksi antara wisatawan dan masyarakat lokal memperkuat hubungan sosial dan mempromosikan kesadaran akan pentingnya pelestarian budaya. Kesimpulannya, Desa Wisata Pulau Belimbing berkontribusi pada upaya pelestarian budaya dan pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah mengeksplorasi dampak jangka panjang dari pariwisata terhadap budaya lokal serta mengembangkan program yang lebih terstruktur untuk melibatkan generasi muda dalam pelestarian tradisi mereka.

Abstract

Intoduction: Adolescent females' primary health issue is anemia, which is brought on by inadequate dietary intake. Teenage girls are more susceptible to iron deficiency anemia as a result of menstruation. It is vital to increase teenage girls' understanding of nutrition through education and campaigns that use teen-friendly tactics, in addition to the government's efforts. Videos are one kind of audio-visual material that is used to provide education, among other media. Method: Pre-experiment research is the research design employed, and quantitative research is the research type. The study used a "one group pretest and post-test design," meaning that there is only one treatment group and no control group. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire, and the sample consisted of 43 teenage girls from MTs Negeri 2 Rejang Lebong. The sample was selected using a stratified random sampling procedure. Chi-Square was the analysis approach employed. Findings and Discussion: With a p value of 0.030 <0.05, the Chi Square test findings indicate a significant effect. With a mean pre-post value of 46 and a mean post-test value of 66, the OR value of 2.877 (1.194-6.934) indicates that there is an increase following the intervention and an increase of 20% from before the intervention. In conclusion, a program utilizing audiovisual (video) health education can be implemented to raise awareness of anemia among teenage females in an effort to prevent it from occurring. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of academic ability and talent management on the work readiness of students of the Faculty of Economics UKI Toraja from the perspective of human capital theory. Data collection techniques by filling out questionnaires by students of the Faculty of Economics UKI Toraja who have participated in the Work World Practice, Internship and Certified Independent Study (MSIB), Entrepreneurship Internship activities using SEM-Smart PLS. The results of the study showed that Academic Ability influenced Work Readiness with a coefficient of 0.494, a t value of 6.286, and a p-value of 0.000, while Talent Management influenced Work Readiness with a coefficient of 0.473, a t value of 5.739, and a p-value of 0.000. Academic Ability and Talent Management simultaneously influenced Work Readiness significantly with an F value of 328.973 and a p-value of 0.000. The academic ability variable has the greatest influence compared to talent management with a coefficient value of 0.494.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the representation of coastal community life in the poetry anthology "Selain Laut Masih Bergelombang" by Mariati Atkah through a sociology of literature approach. The sociology of literature approach is used to explore the relationship between literary works and the social conditions that form the background of their birth. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method commonly used in social science research, including research in the field of literature. The main data source of this study is the poetry texts contained in the poetry anthology "Selain Laut Masih Bergelombang". Data on the representation of coastal community life in the poetry anthology "Selain Laut Masih Bergelombang" were collected using an observation guide instrument validated by time triangulation assisted by a checklist. The research data were analyzed thematically. The results of the study indicate that this work displays various aspects of coastal community life that are full of meaning, such as perseverance in work, social intimacy, a spirit of togetherness, and local wisdom that grows from human closeness to the sea. In addition, this anthology also depicts social changes that occur due to the influence of modernization, which has an impact on shifting traditional community values. Overall, “Selain Laut Masih Bergelombang” not only has aesthetic value, but also functions as a cultural, social, and spiritual reflection of the lives of Indonesian coastal communities.

Abstract

Listening skills for aural texts among elementary school students remain relatively low, as reflected in their suboptimal ability to identify essential information, grasp the main message, and provide logical responses to spoken texts. Although listening instruction has been widely studied, research that specifically integrates concrete audiolingual media with the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model remains limited. This study aimed to describe the implementation of Kartu Memory Listening media within a PBL framework in listening instruction and to examine its effectiveness in improving students’ listening skills and critical reasoning. A mixed-methods approach with an embedded concurrent design was employed, involving 28 third-grade students selected through purposive sampling. Listening skills data were collected using pretest–posttest assessments with teacher-read announcement stimuli supported by teacher cards, while students used learner cards containing characteristics and keywords of various types of announcements along with visuals of four common public locations (stations, ports, airports, and bus terminals). Critical reasoning was assessed through observations conducted by two observers using a standardized instrument. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative data were analyzed using the Miles–Huberman technique. The results show a significant improvement in listening skills, with a mean posttest score of 91.6 (very good category), and in critical reasoning, with a score of 87.5 (good category). These findings enrich theoretical discussions on the use of concrete audiolingual media within a PBL framework and provide practical implications for Bahasa Indonesia instruction in elementary schools, while also opening avenues for further research on additional factors that may influence learning outcomes but were not examined in this study.
