Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership and reward systems on Employee Performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. With a sample of 70 respondents. The tool used is a questionnaire. The results of this study are that leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The reward system has significant and significant effect on employee performance, leadership and reward systems have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and leadership, reward systems and job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. With the value of t calculated for leadership variable 2,278 and reward system 3,117 while for job satisfaction as mediation has a value of t count equal to there is a value of 1,994 which means that the value of t count has ?Sig? <0,05. R Square of 0.433, means that variations in employee performance can be explained by variations in leadership, reward systems and job satisfaction by 43.3% and the rest explained by other variations not examined.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Faktor Internal Wirausaha Terhadap Pengembangan Karir Individu (Studi Pada Distributor Multi Level Marketing (MLM) PT. Citra Nusa Insan Cemerlang (CNI) Dengan Produk Ginseng Coffe Di Siborongborong Tapanuli Utara. Dengan sampel 112 responden. Alat yang digunakan adalah kuessioner. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif explanatory yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan unutk menjelaskan kedudukan variable-variabel yang diteliti serta hubungan antara variable-variabel. Koefisien faktor internal wirausaha “kreatif” (X1) memberikan nilai sebesar 0,316 yang berarti bahwa jika faktor internal wirausaha “kreatif” (X1) semakin baik dengan asumsi variabel lain tetap maka pengembangan karir individu (Y) akan mengalami peningkatan. Koefisien faktor internal wirausaha “inovatif” (X2) memberikan nilai sebesar 0,343 yang berarti bahwa jika jika faktor internal wirausaha “inovatif” (X2) semakin tinggi dengan asumsi variabel lain tetap maka pengembangan karir individu akan mengalami peningkatan. Koefisien faktor internal wirausaha “berani” memberikan nilai sebesar 0,222 yang berarti bahwa jika faktor internal wirausaha “berani” semakin kuat dengan asumsi variabel lain tetap maka pengembangan karir individu akan mengalami peningkatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel bebas (Faktor Internal Wirausaha: kreatif, inovatif dan berani) memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan, baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan terhadap variabel terikat (pengembangan karir individu), Analisis regresi digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis tentang pengaruh secara parsial variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat. Berdasarkan estimasi regresi berganda dengan program SPSS diperoleh hasil Y = 0,316 X1 + 0,343 X2 + 0,222 X3. Hasil perhitungan regresi dapat diketahui bahwa koefisien determinasi (adjusted R2) yang diperoleh sebesar 0,57 atau 57%.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an integrated sales technology model based on a mobile application that can improve the competitiveness of MSME products in Pematang Dolok Kahean Village in the global market. Pematang Dolok Kahean Village has the potential for superior products, such as snacks and handicrafts, but is still limited in terms of market access and utilization of marketing technology. Traditional marketing, such as through local markets and exhibitions, cannot reach a wider market, both nationally and internationally. The stages of this research begin with identifying the needs of MSMEs in the village, followed by designing an application model that is in accordance with the characteristics of the product and the target market. Furthermore, a prototype of a mobile application was developed that integrates easy and secure product management, ordering, and payment features. Using this technology model can increase efficiency in product management and transactions, while also making it easier for consumers to buy MSME products from outside the region. The implementation of this technology model can provide practical solutions that support increasing market access, expanding distribution networks, and encouraging local economic growth through more competitive sales of MSME products.

Abstract

Selecting the right Cook’s Assistant is a critical factor in ensuring smooth restaurant operations, including at Lucky Seafood Restaurant in Pematang Siantar. The existing recruitment process often lacks objectivity and consistency, highlighting the need for a technology-based solution to improve decision-making accuracy and efficiency. This study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method to assist management in selecting the most suitable candidate. The system evaluates five criteria: work experience, communication skills, and work attitude (benefit criteria), along with adaptation time and error rate (cost criteria). The ARAS method involves normalization, weighting, and the calculation of utility and utility degree values. The results indicate that among eight candidates, AC_06 ranks highest with a utility score of 1.51518, followed by AC_04 and AC_08. The implementation of this system has proven effective in reducing subjectivity, expediting the selection process, and increasing the accuracy of identifying the best candidate aligned with the restaurant’s operational needs.

Abstract

Sektor pariwisata memberikan dampak positif terhadap pembangunan daerah. Pariwisata mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah, peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat, dan memperluas lapangan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan jumlah wisatawan ke Danau Toba Kabupaten Samosir. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Sumber informasi yang digunakan Kepala Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kabupaten Samosir, Pelaku UMKM, 50 Wisatawan yang sedang berkunjung. Metode pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan diskusi. Teknik analisis dengan melakukan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian, menarik kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan strategi pengembangan pariwisata kabupaten Samosir, Strategi Pembangunan Sumber Daya Manusia Pariwisata, Strategi Pembangunan Aksesibilitas Pariwisata, Strategi Pengembangan Data Saing Produk Wisata dan Strategi Pembangunan Pemasaran Kepariwisataan.

Abstract

This study examines the adoption of digital payment systems and e-commerce platforms as strategic instruments for market expansion among culinary MSMEs in Pematangsiantar City. Despite the rapid progression of digital transformation in Indonesia, the utilisation of these technologies among MSMEs in medium-sized cities remains limited due to inadequate digital literacy, insufficient infrastructure, and low managerial readiness. Employing a quantitative approach through Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) with a sample of 100 respondents, this study investigates the influence of digital payment and e-commerce adoption on market expansion strategies. The findings reveal that digital payment significantly enhances market expansion (β = 0.193; p < 0.05), indicating that efficient, secure, and reliable transaction mechanisms strengthen customer reach and business scalability. Conversely, e-commerce adoption does not demonstrate a significant independent effect (β = 0.127; p > 0.05), suggesting that its effectiveness is contingent upon stronger digital competencies and ecosystem support. However, the interaction between digital payment and e-commerce exhibits a significant synergistic effect (β = 0.158; p < 0.05), implying that integrated adoption yields greater strategic value than isolated implementation. With an explanatory power of 5.7%, the model also highlights the presence of other external factors influencing market expansion. Overall, this study contributes theoretical and practical insights into MSME digitalisation in non-metropolitan contexts and offers implications for policymakers and business support institutions in strengthening digital transformation initiatives.
