Abstract

Empowerment can be done through women's groups that exist in an area. One of the right forums is a women's farmer group. KWT Sawung Martani is a women's farmer group that exists in Banyumas Regency. Based on the analysis of the problem situation, there are two main problems in KWT Sawung Martani, namely the lack of group activity and the ignorance of group members regarding the profits and losses of the plant cultivation they are carrying out. This community service activity aims to provide education on group strengthening and agricultural business knowledge in empowering KWT Sawung Martani. The activity method used is education through extension activities. Based on the activities carried out, each member of KWT Sawung Martani has fully understood the education and materials provided by the community service team. That way, in the future, the implementation of group strengthening will strengthen solidarity and the development of a group must be carried out dynamically so that the group can run independently later KWT Sawung Martani and the application of agricultural business knowledge will make cultivation activities in KWT Sawung Martani more efficient.

Abstract

Lifestyle and health issues are important indicators in consuming food, especially organic rice. It is no wonder that the demand for organic rice has increased alongside the development of the era. The organic polemic is also one of the things that consumers consider in buying rice. This also happens in the Banyumas community, which has a group of farmers who cultivate organic rice. This research aims to see how significant the contribution of organic rice produced by farmers in Banyumas is and to provide recommendations in the form of introducing a business model for a communal integration system between organic rice farmers. The method used for analysis in this research is the descriptive statistics and contribution analysis. This research was conducted in Kalisube Village and Dawuhan Village in Banyumas District. The data used is on land area, rice production, and conversion to organic rice production. Using contribution analysis helpsĀ  to determine the significance of the assumed demand for organic rice in the long term when all people consume organic rice. Based on the research results, it was found that the contribution of organic rice in Dawuhan Village was greater than in Kalisube Village. The research results also state that when 15 percent of Banyumas people consume organic rice, there will be a shortage in meeting the demand for organic rice. Communal system business model is a step in solving the problem with shortage. The combination of cooperation and interaction between organic rice farmers in Banyumas Regency is essential to meet the demand for organic rice in the community.

Abstract

In addition to rice, corn is an alternative food. In fact, corn makes a considerable contribution to economic progress. Banyumas Regency is one of Central Java's largest maize planting locations. Farmers that cultivate corn have never recorded their money, therefore they are unsure whether the corn farming business they run generates a fair revenue or profit. Farmers also have other occupations to support their families, thus the contribution of corn growing as the primary source of income should be considered. The purpose of this study is to examine the farming operations and income contributions of corn farmers in Kembaran District, Banyumas Regency. The study was conducted in Kembaran District. The sample size for this study was 30 corn producers. The data was analyzed using the farming business and income contribution method. The survey found that corn farmers in Kembaran District earn IDR 29,600,000 per hectare. Farmers' income from maize production is valued at 5,920 kilos per hectare, with a selling price of Rp 5000 per kilogram. Meanwhile, farmers' overall cost of producing corn harvests has reached Rp 9,498,365. Thus, farmers' income from corn farming per hectare amounts to Rp 20,101,635. In an effort to meet the needs of farmers also do other side jobs such as trading, becoming laborers, becoming craftsmen and several other side jobs. Abstract

Permasalahan umum yang masih dialami oleh kelompok usaha adalah mengenai pencatatan keuangan. Permasalahan ini dikarenakan kurangnya pengetahuan dari sumber daya manusia yang ada. Desa Panembangan merupakan wilayah dengan sektor pertanian dan perikanan sangat baik di Kabupaten Banyumas. Desa Panembangan juga memiliki kelompok pengolah dan pemasar Ikan (Poklahsar) yang mengalami permasalahan mengenai pembukuan keuangan. Maka dari itu kegiatan pengabdian ini memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan edukasi dan sosialisasi pembukuan keuangan terhadap poklahsar yang ada di Desa Panembangan menggunakan aplikasi buku kas. Sosialisasi dan edukasi pembukuan keuangan dilakukan dengan pemberian materi terlebih dahulu kemudian dilanjutkan dengan diskusi dan tanya jawaban. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah service learning. Sosialisasi dan edukasi menjadi hal yang penting dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang terjadi pada tiga poklahsar yang ada di Desa Panembangan. Pembiasaan diri untuk melakukan pencatatan keuangan juga menjadi perhatian penting dan harus dilakukan bagi pengelola maupun anggota kelompok poklahsar. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan pemberian materi terlebih dahulu di awal kemudian diselingi dengan diskusi dan tanya jawab dengan peserta kegiatan pengabdian. Peserta kegiatan pengabdian mengakui bahwa dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian akan mengupgrade skills dari masing-masing individu dalam pemahaman berbagai macam hal baru. Rencana tindak lanjut dari kegiatan ini adalah penggunaan sistem informasi akuntansi dalam pembukuan keuangan yang bisa diterapkan oleh poklahsar Desa Panembangan.

Abstract

Empowering women's farmer groups (KWT) is crucial for community development. One such growing KWT is the Tunas Mulia Women's Group (KWT) in Tambaksogra Village, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency, which has a melon and pakcoy (vegetable) cultivation program. The availability of melons and pakcoy at KWT Tunas Mulia is quite high at certain times, resulting in low prices and some unsold surpluses. KWT Tunas Mulia still lacks understanding of product processing. This community service activity aims to upscale and diversify the added value of KWT Tunas Mulia's products. The community service method uses service learning, starting with education and counseling and ending with practical processing of melon products into ice cream and pakcoy into vegetable chips. The partners in this community service activity are all 15 members of KWT Tunas Mulia. This community service activity was carried out in August 2025. Based on the results of the community service activity, there was a transfer of knowledge understanding regarding the importance of product processing by KWT Tunas Mulia as well as the success of direct practice in processing melon and pakcoy harvested by KWT Tunas Mulia into ice cream and pakcoy vegetable chips optimally. The results of the evaluation questionnaire that measured the success of this community service had a percentage of 80%, so it can be concluded that this community service program is running well.ABSTRAKPemberdayaan kelompok wanita tani (KWT) penting dilakukan dalam rangka pembangunan masyarakat. Salah satu KWT yang sedang berkembang adalah KWT Tunas Mulia yang ada di Desa Tambaksogra, Kecamatan Sumbang, Kabupaten Banyumas yang memiliki program budidaya melon dan sayuran berupa pakcoy. Periode ketersediaan melon dan pakcoy di KWT Tunas Mulia pada waktu tertentu cukup banyak sehingga menyebabkan harga menjadi murah dan beberapa sisa tidak laku. Pemahaman pengolahan produk masih belum dilakukan oleh KWT Tunas Mulia. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk upscaling dan diversifikasi nilai tambah produk dari KWT Tunas Mulia. Metode kegiatan pengabdian ini dengan service learning dimulai dengan edukasi dan penyuluhan dan diakhiri dengan praktik pengolahan produk melon menjadi es krim dan pakcoy menjadi keripik sayur. Mitra kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah seluruh anggota KWT Tunas Mulia sebanyak 15 orang. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan pada Bulan Agustus 2025. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian terjadi transfer knowledge pemahaman mengenai pentingnya pengolahan produk oleh KWT Tunas Mulia serta keberhasilan praktik langsung dalam mengolah melon dan pakcoy hasil panen KWT Tunas Mulia menjadi es krim dan keripik sayur pakcoy secara optimal. Hasil kuesioner evaluasi yang mengukur keberhasilan pengabdian ini memiliki persentase sebesar 80% dengan begitu dapat disimpulkan bahwa program kegiatan pengabdian ini berjalan dengan baik.
