Abstract

In 2016 there was a massive religious demonstration in Jakarta involving several Islamic groups. The rally was triggered by the statements from Jakarta’s governor candidate Basuki Tjahaya Purnama (Ahok) at Kepulauan seribu which interpreted by some as a blasphemy against Islam. The protest which conducted on November was considered as the biggest in 2016. At that time most of media, including TV One and Metro TV were highlited this event which estimated attended by hundreds million of protesters. With this case of reports, this writing tries to formulate this following issues: How is the relious discourse broadcasted by TV One and Metro TV towards 411 demonstration. Using Teun Van Dijk’s discourse theory, this study is a qualitative research. News that was analyzed were 6 news with the details of 3 from Metro TV and 3 from TV One. Discourse analysis in this case is used as a tool to examine discourse on both televisions. There are three stages which are texts analysis, cognitive analysis and social analysis. Results of this study show that TV One’s discourse towards the rally is that Islamic organization whose on the rally is a tolerance group, whose maintaining unity and practicing Islamic shariaa. Meanwhile, according to Metro TV is that the organization is more on a hardline ideology, non tolerance and promoting violence.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the digital communication patterns carried out by religious influencers in transmitting and distributing Islamic values as a representation of moderate Islam, with Habib Ja'far as the central figure. The data used in this qualitative study was gathered by looking at the YouTube login account of a channel that Onadio Leonardo and Habib Ja'far lead. Research data analysis refers to the concept of digital communication developed by Caroline Tagg, which emphasizes flexibility, freedom, and dialogue in digital interactions. The research results show that, first, in the new media era, content uploaded by the login account has become a strategic medium for conveying moderate Islamic values by utilizing an inclusive approach using relaxed, humorous, and engaging language. Second, Habib Ja'far, as a religious influencer, prioritizes the spirit of freedom of communication, namely the expression of religious beliefs that not only respect differences but also avoid blaming or denigrating other beliefs. This approach shows that Islam can be presented as a friendly, tolerant religion relevant to the times' challenges. This research contributes to understanding the role of digital communication in voicing Islamic values of moderation. These findings also offer a new perspective on how digital media can be a strategic space for conveying peaceful and inclusive Islamic narratives.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the characteristics of phonetic errors in stress pronunciation among first-year students in the Arabic Language Department at the Faculty of Education and Teaching, Ali bin Abi Talib Islamic University, Surabaya, for the academic year 2023/2024. The researcher employs an error analysis method, with data focusing on recorded pronunciation errors by first-year students at Ali bin Abi Talib Islamic University in Surabaya. The approach used in the research is qualitative, specifically descriptive-analytical, where the study describes the phenomenon of phonetic errors in stress pronunciation made by students. The data type consists of linguistic errors found in the works of students from Ali bin Abi Talib Islamic University in Surabaya. The results indicate that first-year students were either inattentive to sentence correctness, rushed in their speech, or lacked knowledge about stress in Arabic language studies. For these reasons, the researcher investigates this issue to reveal what has been overlooked regarding the errors of students at Ali bin Abi Talib Islamic University, Surabaya, in the academic year 2023/2024, and so forth.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the self-regulation of Hindus in kudus district, In phenomenological research, the data collection methods used focus on in-depth interviews and narratives, In this study, the criteria chosen to be informants are Hindus who live and settle in kudus district, Central Java, namely those who have been Hindu since childhood and actively live their worship. The results of this study are related to strengthening self-regulation in various forms. There are various forms of strengthening self-regulation both from the family environment, the surrounding environment or friends as well as the forms of encouragement that are given vary in the form of verbal or verbal support. Based on the results obtained in the interviews that have been conducted, informant I, informant II, informant III revealed that they received reinforcement from their closest people even though for informant II, the environment also plays a role in self-regulation and self-evaluation is important for improvement. Informants get enough support from various parties in worship, although worship facilities for Hindus in Kudus are still inadequate and there are a small number who do not like it. This does not make them hesitate in worshiping.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pentingnya manajemen sumber daya manusia (SDM) dalam organisasi, terutama di Pondok Pesantren Modern Al Muwahidin, yang memiliki SDM memadai dan membutuhkan pengelolaan yang baik untuk mencapai tujuan serta meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen SDM dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan serta menganalisis proses rekrutmen di Pondok Pesantren Modern Al Muwahidin tahun 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian lapangan (field research). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, sementara analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini berlangsung selama empat bulan, dari Juli hingga Oktober 2024, dengan teknik purposive sampling untuk menentukan informan penelitian. Informan terdiri dari Pimpinan Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Modern Al Muwahidin, Ketua Pengurus Pondok Pesantren, serta Ketua Pembina Putra dan Putri. Wawancara dilakukan dengan metode semi-terstruktur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen SDM dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan di Pondok Pesantren Modern Al Muwahidin mencakup: (1) Perencanaan, yang meliputi penarikan SDM serta perencanaan program seperti pelatihan, kajian bagi pembina, pemberian motivasi, dan evaluasi; (2) Pelaksanaan, yang mencakup pelaksanaan pelatihan, pemberian motivasi, dan evaluasi. Adapun proses rekrutmen dilakukan melalui dua sumber, yaitu: (a) Sumber internal, berupa kaderisasi dari santri dan alumni; serta (b) Sumber eksternal, yaitu perekrutan dari luar lembaga, khususnya kaderisasi maha santri Ma’had Aly Nurul Hakim Kediri.

Abstract

Partner problems include that most of the elderly at Griya Sehat Bahagia experience depression and the treatment implemented by the Griya Sehat Bahagia Panti for elderly patients who experience depression is still very limited. So far, the treatment provided by the orphanage is manifested in several forms including self-talk, sedatives and closeness to Allah swt. The treatment given to the elderly aims to maintain mental health for the elderly so that they are all enthusiastic and motivated to live life at an age that is no longer productive. Mental health that is maintained will lead to a prosperous life both mentally, physically, spiritually and socially. The solution to the problems in partners is through counseling, training, monitoring, evaluation, providing skills and providing facilities that better support the lives of the elderly at Griya Sehat Bahagia. It is hoped that this community service activity can contribute to the restoration of the health of the elderly in the orphanage. From the socialization and also the training provided to the elderly at Griya Sehat Bahagia showed positive results, it was proven that the elderly were very enthusiastic about participating in activities and were more motivated than before. Keywords:  elderly, depression, mental health, well-being

Abstract

Diabetes Melitus adalah kondisi kronis yang terjadi ketika kadar glukosa darah meningkat karena tubuh tidak dapat menghasilkan dengan cukup insulin atau insulin yang dihasilkan tidak berfungsi dengan baik. Diabetes melitus jika tidak segera ditangani maka akan menyebabkan komplikasi. Salah satu komplikasi yang sering terjadi pada pasien diabetes melitus yaitu neuropati diabetik. Penatalaksanaan untuk mencegah terjadinya komplikasi diabetes melitus adalah  foot SPA diabetic. Foot SPA diabetic berfungsi memperlancar sirkulasi darah perifer pada kaki sehingga peredaran darah, nutrisi, dan oksigen dapat lancar sampai ke bagian ujung-ujung jari kaki untuk mengetahui hasil implementasi Foot Salus Per Aquam (SPA) diabetic dalam meningkatkan nilai Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) pada lansia diabetes melitus tipe II. Metode yang digunakan penulis yaitu metode deskriptif dan studi kasus dalam pengelolaan asuhan keperawatan inovasi intervensi  foot SPA diabetic yang dilakukan selama 3x pertemuan berturut-turut dengan durasi 30 menit. Penilaiannya dengan menggunakan lembar observasi ABI. Hasil setelah dilakukan penerapan foot SPA diabetic pada hari pertama pasien 1 sebelum penerapan foot SPA diabetic  skor ABI 0,83 (PAD ringan). Setelah dilakukan penerapan  foot SPA diabetic skor ABI meningkat menjadi 1,03 (batas normal). Sementara itu, hasil setelah dilakukan penerapan foot SPA diabetic pada hari pertama pasien 2 sebelum penerapan foot SPA diabetic  skor ABI 0,82 (PAD ringan), Setelah dilakukan penerapan  foot SPA diabetic skor ABI meningkat menjadi 1 (batas normal). kesimpulannya yaitu intervensi Foot SPA diabetic efektif untuk meningkatkan nilai Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) pada lansia dengan diabetes melitus tipe II.

Abstract

The study aims to identify the tangible forms of Arabic language learning programs and to describe the models of Arabic language learning at the ma’had al-jamiah of Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu State Islamic University and Ali Bin Abi Thalib Surabaya Islamic College. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative type. The sources of information include observations during the Arabic language learning process and interviews with instructors or teachers. The Data analysis in this research is conducted using the interactive analysis theory by Miles and Huberman. The analysis technique involves data collection, presentation, reduction, and conclusion. The results of this research indicate that: Firstly, the forms of Arabic language learning programs at the ma’had al-jamiah of Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu State Islamic University include: ta’lim al-lughoh al-arabiyah, muhadtsah yaumiyah fi al-lughoh al arabiyah, provision of vocabularies, and khitabah. The forms of Arabic language learning programs at the ma’had al-jamiah of Ali bin Abi Thalib Surabaya Islamic College include: insya bi’ah lughowiyah, fashl ilaaji, fashl idhofi, muhadharah arabiyah, and muhadtsah usbuiyah. Secondly, the models of Arabic language learning at the ma’had al-jamiah of Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu State Islamic University and Ali bin Abi Thalib Surabaya Islamic College include direct learning and learning with presentations.
