Abstract

The low interest in learning science on the properties of light is the background for this research due to the use of less relevant learning media. This research aims to find out how fourth grade students' interest in learning about the properties of light is influenced by KOSICA media. This research uses an experimental approach in quantitative research with a nonequivalent control design. The sample used was 64 class IV students. Data collection techniques include a learning interest questionnaire and a KOSICA media questionnaire. Obtaining final score research data shows that the experimental group got a score of 70.44 and the control group got a score of 63.13. It can be seen that the final score of the experimental group was 70.44 > 63.13 greater than the control group. Because KOSICA media can make learning more meaningful and enjoyable, make students more active in learning and can arouse students' interest in learning, it has been proven that the use of this media can influence the enthusiasm of fourth grade students in studying the properties of light.

Abstract

: The effect of using technology-based learning media on science subjects. So you can see how strong the influence of technology-based learning media is on increasing students' interest in learning in the learning process. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using Animaker technology-based teaching media on class 4 students' interest in learning. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with experimental research methods. The method used to find the effect of treatment on the thing being researched. Therefore, in this experimental method there will be special treatment to determine whether or not there is an influence in the research. The method used by researchers is Quasi Experimental design. hypothesis testing, the results of the independent t test show that there are significant differences between the two groups. Levene's Test shows that the variance of the two groups is considered the same (Sig. 0.804). The t-test results show a t-statistic value of 5.298 with 54 degrees of freedom and a significance value of 0.000. The mean difference between the experimental and control groups was 8.964 with a 95% confidence interval ranging from 5.572 to 12.356. These results indicate that the use of Animaker teaching media significantly increases students' interest in learning compared to conventional learning methods. It is concluded that there is a significant influence from the use of Animaker technology-based teaching media on students' interest in learning in science and science subjects in class 4 at SDN Grogol Utara 09. Analysis statistics show that there is a significant difference in the post-test results between the experimental group using Animaker and the control group using conventional methods. With the experimental group's average post-test results being slightly higher, this difference is statistically large enough to be declared a significant difference.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how Big Book media affects 1st-grade students' learning capacities. The method used is the Pretest-Posttest design for one experiment group, with one group serving as a sample for the study. An early reading skills test is provided before the need to use Big Book media to gather data. Analytical results indicate that there is a significant increase in reading comprehension after using the Big Book. Before the study, there were 3% of students who had not yet learned about huruf, 9% of students who had a specific need, and 16% of students who had learned about letters but had not yet been able to finish them. The average score for the pretest was 66.47, but the posttest score after using Big Book increased to 80.22, with a 6.5% increase. All of this indicates that Big Book media is an effective substitute for increasing students' reading comprehension and making a positive contribution to the learning process in elementary school. The implications of this study are the necessity of developing and implementing other educational media to increase students' understanding of the fundamentals of elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Example and Non- Example models on students' critical thinking skills. The research location is one of the elementary schools in South Jakarta, to be precise at the fourth-grade level during the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, especially in the Civic Education subject. While the research method used is a quantitative research method with a Quasi-Experimental Design research design. The sampling technique used probability sampling on students who already understood Civic Education subjects by looking at their average scores in the previous semester, the number of subjects was 63 participants, with 31 participants grouped into the experimental group and 32 participants grouped into the control group. The data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to research subjects using multiple choice and filling methods, and the data that had been collected showed the results of the t test calculation of t count = 5.47 ≥ t table = 2.00 which stated that there was a significant effect, in student learning outcomes in the application of the Example and Non-Example models to improve students' critical thinking in the Citizenship Education subject at an elementary school in the south Jakarta area. The Example and Non-Example models can improve students' critical thinking because they have fun methods, students can be more active in class and exchange opinions with each other.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using active knowledge- sharing learning strategies. The research location is one of the elementary schools in Bekasi, to be precise at the fifth-grade level during semester 2 of the 2021/2022 academic year, especially in social studies subjects. While the research method used is a quantitative research method with a Quasi-Experimental Design research design. The type of sample used was Saturated Sampling with a total of 70 participants divide into 2 class which is 35 at experimental class and 35 in a control class, with 30 questions given to participants. From the results of the calculation of the t test in the study, it obtained a value of t count = 5.8970 ≥ t table 1.999 which stated that there was a significant effect of learning using the Active Knowledge Sharing learning strategy on social subject learning outcomes in one of the elementary schools in Bekasi. The Active Knowledge Sharing learning strategy applied by teaching staff to their students can increase the level of creativity and courage of a student so that students can learn effectively and have fun, especially in this study the subjects taken were social subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to develop e-comic media on the material of politeness norms to improve the understanding of discipline in elementary school students and to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of the e-comic media. This research uses the R&D (Research and Development) method with the ADDIE model and utilizes the Pre-Experimental Design One Group Pretest-Posttest Model. This study involved 24 fourth-grade students at SDN 1 Kaduagung Timur, Banten Province. Data collection was carried out in several ways, namely interviews, observations, questionnaires, and formative tests in the form of pre-test and post-test totaling 12 multiple-choice questions. The validation results obtained, such as media expert validation of 92.96%, material and question experts of 88.88% and 99.26%, and language experts of 91.39%. In addition, there are also the results of teacher response questionnaires, which get 97.14% and student response questionnaires reaching 92.34%, which shows that e-comic is well received as a learning medium. In terms of effectiveness, the Wilcoxon test revealed a significant difference between pretest and posttest results (p < 0.0001), also supported by the N-Gain value, which reached an average of 0.77 and was included in the high category. Therefore, the use of e-comic media for grade IV students has been proven effective and feasible to improve students' understanding of disciplinary values.
