Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of training, motivation, and job discipline of employees working on the performance at PT Draco Internasional. This study used the associative method and primary data. Data collected through questionnaires and interview which conducted on 55 employees of PT Draco Internasional. This study uses data analysis methods include validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, F test, t test and also the coefficient of determination test to test and prove the research hypothesis. Based on the result the following conclusion is obtained: Test results partially for training variable with statistic value tcount > ttable (8.859 > 2.021) and a probability value of 0.000 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected means there is influence significant from the training variable on employee performance. Partial test results for motivational variable with statistic value of tcount > ttable (3.483 > 2.021) and a probability value of 0.001 < 0.05, then Ho has rejected means that there is a significant effect of the motivation variable on employee performance. Partial test results for job discipline variable with a statistic value tcount > ttable (2.667 > 2.021) and a probability value of 0.010 < 0.05, then Ho has rejected means that there is a significant effect of the job discipline on employee performance. Simultaneous test results with a value of Fcount > Ftable (39.242 > 2.78) and a probability value of 0.000 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected or Ha is accepted which means there is a significant simultaneous influence (togetherness) of the training variable, motivation variable, and job discipline variable together on the employee performance variable. The amount of the adjusted coefficient of determination (adjusted R2) is 0.680 or 68%, which means that the independent variables can be explained in the employee performance variable by 68% while the remaining 32% is explained by other factors outside of this research.

Abstract

Sufism has existed for a long time in the Western world, especially in Europe. However, it continues to develop amidst the rejection of Islam. It has become an alternative for European society as a solution to the moral and psychological crisis, according to the views of some people in Europe and the Western world. The article's writing was carried out using a literature study with a descriptive analysis approach assisted by inductive historical aspects, which produced a new perception of the development of Islamic Sufism in the West, especially in Europe. Western thought is based solely on materialism, which no longer considers religion, human relationships with God, and human relationships related to divine rules. People who participate in the teachings of Sufism want to find peace of mind away from the exploitation of fellow humans and the material world, which no longer humanizes humans. The phenomenon of Islamic Sufism being transmitted to Western countries and its embrace by many thinkers and intellectuals has produced new issues and problems that have proven the extent of the fertility of Islamic thought in general and the extent of the richness of Sufism in particular and its ability to break into the strongest material civilizations and brand them with its spiritual character. Likewise, the liberation of women in Western countries and their desire to show Leadership and excellence are found in Sufism.

Abstract

Foreign Schools aimed at developing Christianity in the Turkish region were visible during the decline of the Ottoman Empire, which had undergone the Reformation. The schools consisted of elementary schools and universities, which were previously intended only for foreign citizens or those considered foreign citizens in the Ottoman Empire. However, this school continued to develop its wings through the Christian mission of various countries, including the United States. After Turkey turned into a republic, there was a secularization of the anti-Islamic education system. Islam is considered an obstacle to progress that has been eroded by time. By conducting a literature study, we took a historical approach with source verification and qualitative data analysis, which was then explained descriptively. We found that Islamic education cannot be stopped because History cannot be erased just like that. The identity of Turkish society comes from Islam. Even though the Islamic values in education in Turkey experienced degradation along with the disbandment of Islamic schools, recently, the Turkish secularist figure Kemal Atatürk died, and Islamic schools gradually re-emerged during Erdogan's reign. More Islamic schools are learning the Koran and Hadith again, using Arabic, which is expected to produce a pious and devout generation.
