Abstract

This community service aims to improve the quality of goat farming in Semarang City, especially at Ciliwung Farm. This activity focuses on two main aspects, namely building design development training and management training. Building design training emphasizes designing pens that meet goat health, comfort and productivity standards. Aspects such as ventilation, lighting, materials and cage layout are the main focus in this training. Meanwhile, management training is aimed at improving farmers' skills in managing the sales and marketing of goat products. Training materials cover marketing strategies, product development and financial management. It is hoped that through this activity, farmers at Ciliwung Farm can improve the quality of their products, expand their marketing network, and ultimately increase their income. The results of this community service show an increase in the knowledge and skills of breeders in designing good pens and managing goat farming businesses more effectively.

Abstract

Abstract: Declining visitor interest in traditional markets is one of the problems currently faced by traditional markets. The form of government effort to maintain the existence of traditional markets is by conducting a revitalization program. Semarang Peterongan Market is one of the Semarang City public facilities located on Jl. MT. Haryono No.936, Peterongan, Kec. South Semarang. Before burned, the conditions were very poor namely slums, dirty, irregular arrangement of shanties and unavailability of parking lots. This study aimed to identify the factors that caused traders not to occupy the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Peterongan Market , identifying buyer preferences to the efforts of the revitalization program that have been carried out at the Peterongan Market and to evaluate the physical, non-physical components and infrastructure that exist in the Peterongan Market. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection is done by means of observation and interviews with market agencies, visitors and traders. The results showed that there were factors that caused traders not to occupy the 2nd and 3rd floors, buyers were reluctant to go up to the 2nd and 3rd floors, there was worst accessibility for traders or buyers, there were obstacles in the circulation of merchandise, design and size of kiosks and booths. accommodate the needs of traders. Buyers and traders' preferences are access and circulation that can accommodate their needs in the market, design kiosks and booths that are suitable for their trade. Based on the analysis results of the Semarang Peterongan Market building evaluation analyzed with regulations that apply to the physical component, it is generally appropriate.Keyword: zoning, circulation, user preferences,revitalizationAbstrak: Menurunya minat pengunjung terhadap pasar tradisional menjadi salah satu masalah yang sedang dihadapi pasar tradisional sekarang ini. Bentuk usaha pemerintah untuk menjaga eksistensi pasar tradisional yaitu dengan melakukan program revitalisasi. Pasar Peterongan Semarang merupakan salah satu fasilitas publik Kota Semarang yang berlokasi di Jl. MT. Haryono No.936, Peterongan, Kec. Semarang Selatan. Sebelum mengalami kebakaran,kondisi pasar sangat memprihatinkan yaitu kumuh,kotror,penataan lapak yang tidak teratur serta tidak tersedianya lahan parkir.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pengaruh preferensi pengguna tentang apa saja penyebab pedagang tidak menempati lantai 2 dan lantai 3 Pasar Peterongan Semarang,mengidentifikasi preferensi pembeli terhadap upaya program revitalisasi yang sudah dilakukan di Pasar Peterongan serta mengevaluasi komponen fisik,non fisik serta prasarana yang ada pada Pasar Peterongan. Penelitian menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif . Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan wawancara dengan dinas pasar,pengunjung serta pedagang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya faktor-faktor penyebab pedagang tidak menempati lantai 2 dan lantai 3 adalah pembeli enggan naik ke lantai 2 dan 3,tidak adanya aksesbilitas yang baik untuk pedagang maupun pembeli,terdapat kendala dalam sirkulasi barang dagangan,desain serta ukuran kios dan los tidak mengakomodasi kebutuhan pedagang. Preferensi pembeli dan pedagang cenderung dengan adanya akses serta sirkulasi yang dapat mengakomodasi kebutuhan mereka didalam pasar,desain kios serta los yang sesuai dengan jenis dagangan mereka. Berdasarkan hasil analisis  evaluasi bangunan Pasar Peterongan Semarang dianalisis dengan peraturan yang berlaku pada komponen fisik,umumnya sesuai.Kata Kunci: zoning,sirkulasi,preferensi pengguna,revitalisasi

Abstract

 Abstract: Kali Mberok Kota Lama Semarang is a river that has a lot of history during the Dutch colonial era in Central Java. The revitalization of the Kota Lama area is now being carried out by turning old buildings into places for office activities and also for supporting tourism activities in the Old City. The development of the revitalization of the Kota Lama cultural heritage area was hampered by the problem of tidal flooding and street lighting. The waterfront concept for Kali Mberok is one solution to overcome the obstacles to revitalizing the Old City by adding green open spaces on the edge of Kali Mberok. The implementation of a waterfront in Kali mberok Kota Lama will have a positive impact on reducing buildings on the riverbank and also increasing street lighting with the addition of public open spaces. Innovatively, this study will lead and develop the potential of Kali Mberok in the design of Kali Mberok waterfront tourism around Kota Lama with an emphasis on the Waterfront conceptAbstrak: Abstrak Kali Mberok Kota Lama Semarang adalah salah sungai yang memiliki banyak sejarah di masa kolonial Belanda di Jawa Tengah. Revitalisasi kawasan Kota Lama kini dilakukan dengan memfungsikan gedung gedung tua menjadi tempat kegiatan perkantoran dan juga tempat kegiatan penunjang pariwisata di Kota Lama.  Perkembangan revitalisasi kawasan cagar budaya Kota Lama sempat terhambat karena adanya masalah banjir rob dan penerangan  jalan. Konsep waterfront untuk Kali Mberok menjadi salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi kendala revitalisasi Kota Lama dengan penambahan ruang terbuka hijau di pinggir Kali Mberok. Penerapan waterfront di Kali mberok Kota Lama akan memberikan dampak positif untuk mengurangi bangunan di pinggir sungai dan juga menambah penerangan jalan dengan penambahan ruang terbuka publik. Secara inovatif, kajian ini akan mengarah dan mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki oleh Kali Mberok pada desain perancangan wisata tepian air Kali Mberok disekitar Kota Lama dengan penekanan konsep Waterfront.

Abstract

This community service aims to empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Magelang in adapting sales models from offline to online through the use of digital content. This activity is motivated by the challenges of MSMEs in expanding market reach and increasing competitiveness in the digital era. The implementation method includes socialization, training in creating attractive and effective digital content, assistance in building an online presence through various platforms, and evaluating the impact of implementing digital content strategies on increasing sales and visibility of MSMEs. The results show a significant increase in the understanding and skills of MSMEs in utilizing digital content for marketing and selling their products. In addition, there was an increase in market reach and potential sales growth for the MSMEs involved. This community service activity concluded that intensive assistance in creating and managing digital content has a crucial role in transforming the MSME sales model from offline to online, thereby increasing competitiveness and business sustainability in the digital era.

Abstract

The limited competence of Junior High School (SMP) teachers in Magelang City in developing contextual textbooks is a key issue hindering the achievement of locally relevant learning. Teachers primarily rely on commercial textbooks that often lack accommodation for specific regional issues and lack guidelines for independent writing. This community service aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of SMP teachers in Magelang City in compiling textbooks that meet the standards of the Merdeka Curriculum and include local content. The method employed was participatory training combined with blended mentoring over six weeks, involving 30 teachers from five schools representing various general subjects. The implementation began with a theoretical workshop on standard textbook structure, followed by intensive mentoring sessions. The results indicate a significant increase in participants' understanding of the textbook framework, with 90% of teachers independently capable of creating concept maps and chapter outlines. Crucially, 75% of participants successfully produced at least one draft chapter of a textbook rich in local content (history, culture, and geography of Magelang). This success not only increases the professional capacity of teachers but also directly impacts the availability of more relevant and specific learning resources for students, supporting the contextual implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Magelang Regency, with a wealth of tourist destinations with a variety of things, such as Borobudur Temple and Nepal Van Java, has extraordinary tourism potential. With this diversity, it is a challenge for tourists to determine the best tourist objects that suit their preferences. This study aims to develop an intelligent system for recommending the selection of the best tourist attractions in Magelang Regency by integrating the Weighted Product and K-Means Clustering Methods. The system is designed to provide accurate recommendations based on tourist criteria such as location, facilities, tickets, and security, as well as group attractions based on their level of potential. The Weighted Product method is used to determine the best tourist attractions, while K-Means Clustering groups tourist destinations into high, medium, and low potential categories. In this study, several stages were carried out: literature study, data collection, system design, data analysis, implementation, and system testing to produce an effective and efficient recommendation system for tourists in Magelang Regency. The results of this research obtained the best tourism, namely at Borobudur Temple.

Abstract

Setiap proyek konstruksi sering dihadapkan pada berbagai macam potensi risiko yang bisa berdampak pada kesuksesan proyek. Semakin tinggi tingkat kompleksitas suatu proyek, semakin besar pula tingkat risiko yang terjadi (Priscillia, 2014). Karakteristik unik dari proyek menyebabkan  tingginya  probabilitas risiko dan klaim, yang mungkin terjadi selama  proses pembangunan. Oleh karena itu proyek konstruksi memerlukan penanganan khusus.  Untuk melindungi keberlangsungan proyek secara memadai maka perlu dikembangkan prosedur atau program asuransi yang terencana dengan baik, yang mencakup semua hal-hal yang dinilai vital. Guna meminimalisasi konsekuensi buruk yang mungkin muncul, maka pihak-pihak yang terkait dengan proyek konstruksi harus memandang manajemen risiko sebagai bagian integral dari manajemen proyek secara keseluruhan (Wena, 2015). Berdasarkan pasal penggantian kerugian ditegaskan bahwa kontraktor harus bertanggungjawab dan mengganti kerugaian kepada pihak lainnya terhadap kehilangan, pengeluaran-pengeluaran, dan klaim untuk kehilangan atau kerusakan  atas hak milik tidak bergerak, orang yang luka, dan kematian yang disebabkan oleh tindakan-tindakan atau kelalaiannya sendiri. Hal-hal yang dijamin dalam asuransi tertuang dalam polis atau sertifikat asuransi.  Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan Contractor Statisfaction Concept  untuk mengukur tingkat kepuasan kontraktraktor (sebagai konsumen) dalam penggunaan asuransi konstruksi Contractor All Risk.  Dilakukan identifikasi jenis risiko yang dapat di pertanggungkan pada asuransi konstruksi Contractor All Risk sehingga dapat diketahui sejauh mana efektivitas asuransi konstruksi pada proyek konstruksi.
