Abstract

In the world of education, teachers are encouraged to innovate and foster creativity to create new and fun learning processes.  Problems that often occur include the lack of fun digital-based learning media in elementary schools as well as problems with conventional learning processes.  This research aims to develop and design Wordwall-Based Digital Media on Temperature and Heat Material for Class V Elementary School Students that is valid and practical.  The type that researchers use is Research and Development (RnD) with the ADDIE model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation.  Overall the results from expert validation are in the valid category with a percentage of 82%.  Meanwhile, one to one and small group practicality trials were categorized as very practical with percentages of 91% and 93%.  It was concluded that Wordwall-Based Digital Media on Temperature and Heat Material for Class V Elementary School Students was valid and practical to use.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the make a match model on the unit of time material on the learning outcomes of grade III elementary school students. The research method used in this research is Quasi Experimental Design with posttest only control design type with a total sample of 33 students. The sample in this study was taken using cluster random sampling technique where the entire population was used as a sample in a way where the researcher divided the population into several groups for research. The data collection technique used is an essay test totaling 10 questions. Based on the research results from the final results of the experimental class data, the experimental class has a higher average value than the lower control class, namely the experimental class value of 81.25 while the control class is 65.63. With a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.018 and t table of 0.05, the sig value. (2-tailed) < t table or 0.018 < 0.05. This means that there is an effect of the make a match model on the unit of time material on the learning outcomes of third grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Concrete media is media in the form of real objects that are around that are used to intermediaries to convey material to students. This study aims to determine the effect of science learning media on the material of changes in the form of objects in class V in elementary school. This research uses experimental research, the method used is Quasi experimental design with the type of posttest only control design. The sample used is cluster sampling in class V.A totaling 24 students and class V.C totaling 26 students. This study conducted a hypothesis test using the t test, namely the independent sample t-test in the experimental class and control class, namely the 2-tailed sig value obtained a value of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that there is a significant value. Then for the value of tcount = 3.770 > ttable = 1.677 based on the hypothesis testing criteria if tcount > ttable then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect of concrete media on science learning outcomes on the material of changes in the form of objects in class V in elementary schools.
