Abstract

ABSTRAKUnited Nations (badan dunia PBB) setiap tahun menyatakan bahwa sekitar 10 juta anak menderita malnutrisi akut (wasting), yang membutuhkan pemulihan termasuk penanganan gizi, penyakit infeksi, pelayanan sanitasi, dan akses terhadap air bersih, makanan yang penting bagi pertumbuhan anak yang sehat serta pemberian suplemen makanan bagi dua juta ibu hamil untuk meningkatkan nutrisinya. Namun pada satu dekade kemudian sejumlah penduduk dengan kelaparan di seluruh dunia masih tetap meningkat hingga saat ini. Sehingga 149 juta anak menderita stunting oleh akibat dari pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tinggi badan akibat malnutrisi yang lebih dikenal sebagai bentuk stunting, wasting dan overweight. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk antara Faktor Sosial Ekonomi Keluarga dengan Status Gizi pada Anaka Usia 0-23 Bulan di Kabupaten Kepulauan Siau Tagulandang Biaro. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional di 13 wilayah puskesmas di Kabupaten Kepulauan Siau Tagulandang Biaro. Hasil penelitian terhadap 192 sampel didapatkan berdasarkan Indeks BB/U ada hubungan antara Pendapatan Keluarga dengan Status Gizi dan ada hubungan antara Pekerjaaan Ibu dengan Status Gizi. Berdasarkan Indeks ada hubungan antara Pendidikan Ibu dengan Status Gizi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan ada hubungan antara Faktor Sosial Ekonomi Keluarga dengan Status Gizi pada Anak usia 0-23 Bulan di Kabupaten Kepulauan Siau Tagulandang Biaro Kata Kunci : Faktor Sosial Ekonomi, Status GiziABSTRACThe United Nations states every year that around 10 million children suffer from acute malnutrition (wasting), which requires recovery including handling nutrition, infectious diseases, sanitation services, and access to clean water, food that is important for children's growth healthy and providing food supplements for two million pregnant women to improve nutrition. But a decade later, the number of people with hunger throughout the world is still increasing today. So that 149 million children suffer from stunting due to the growth and development of height due to malnutrition which is better known as a form of stunting, wasting and overweight. This study aims to determine the socioeconomic factors of families with nutritional status in children aged 0-23 months in Siau Tagulandang Biaro Regency. This study is an analytic study with a cross-sectional approach in 13 puskesmas areas in the Siau Tagulandang Biaro Regency. The results of a study of 192 samples obtained based on BB / U Index there is a relationship between Family Income and Nutrition Status and there is a relationship between Maternal Employment and Nutrition Status. Based on the Index there is a relationship between Mother's Education and Nutrition Status. Conclusion: This study concludes that there is a relationship between Family Socio-Economic Factors and Nutritional Status in Children aged 0-23 Months in Siau Islands Regency, Tagulandang Biaro Keyword : Socio-Economic Factors, Nutritional Status

Abstract

Background: Inadequate nutritional status in toddlers is one of the serious challenges in the effort to achieve sustainable development goals in many countries, including Indonesia. Data from Riskesdas revealed the prevalence of toddlers aged 0-59 months based on the BB/U index in 2018 in North Sulawesi Province, there were 4.21% cases of malnutrition and 11.23% cases of undernutrition. In addition, based on the TB/U index, 9.77% of toddlers experience significant growth delays and 15.69% have short height. Based on the BB/TB index, 2.86% of toddlers are categorized as very thin and 6.67% are underweight. Aim: To determine the relationship between complementary feeding (MP-ASI) and the nutritional status of toddlers in East Bolaaang Mongondow District. Methods: This study is an analytical survey research using secondary data from the 2021 Indonesian Nutritional Status Survey (SSGI) data. Results: Analysis using chi-square statistical test based on BB/U value p=0.758, TB/U value p=1.00, and BB/TB value p=1.00. Conclusion: There is no relationship between MP-ASI and nutritional status based on BB/U, TB/U, and BB/TB. Keywords: complementary feeding, nutritional status, toddler.
