Abstract

The brick making process has two very critical characteristics / Critical To Quality (CTQ) , namely compressive strength and water absorption. For the quality characteristics of the compressive strength the greater the value, the better (Higher The Better). As for the absorption of water the quality characteristics are getting smaller, the better (Smaller The Better). The quality of the brick used as building material must have good quality that can maintain the strength of existing buildings. The quality in question is the compressive strength and absorbency of water produced must be in accordance with the requirements of SNI (Indonesian National Standard). The WS companies produce concrete blocks which have not good quality. The bricks are brittle. The method used in this study is the Taguchi method. Optimal Level Factor setting is Factor A (duration of stirring), Factor B (Pressure), Factor C (Water), Factor D (Drying) and Factor E (Composition of Sand and Lime). Where the optimal factor setting level factor that is most influential and dominant in compressive strength and water absorption is factor E (composition of sand and lime). For compressive strength factor E (sand and lime composition) level 2, 1: 0.25 and for absorption factor E (composition of sand and lime) level 1, 1: 0.5. and to confirm the results of this experimental design study, a percentage of Quality Loss Function of compressive strength and water absorption was obtained after the optimal level setting had a quality increase of 51.91% and a decrease in the Loss function of 78.5%.

Abstract

The press brick factory is one of the business sectors with a level of demand that tends to increase every year. The quality of the press brick used as building material must have good quality that can maintain the strength of existing buildings. The quality in question is the compressive strength and absorption of water produced must be in accordance with the requirements of SNI (Indonesian National Standard) that have been determined, the standard used today is SNI 03-0349-1989. P.D. Cijati Jaya is a factory that produces press brick, but there are still many problems with the quality of its products. Quality is not good, like fast breaking and brittle. The purpose of this research is to design the composition of press brick raw materials so that the products produced are of the quality according to SNI. The method used is the Taguchi method. Factors that influence the compressive strength and absorbency that will produce better quality are (A) Stirring Length (11 Minutes), (B) Pressure (60 Kg), (C) Water (0.14 Liter), (D) Long Drying, (8 Days) and (E) Composition of Sand-Lime (0.25 kg; 1.75 kg). According to SNI this quality is in the standard quality 1 to 2.Pabrik batako pres menjadi salah satu bidang usaha dengan tingkat permintaan yang relatif terus bertambah setiap tahunnya. Kualitas batako pres yang dipakai sebagai bahan bangunan harus mempunyai kualitas yang bagus yang dapat mempertahankan kekuatan bangunan yang ada. Kualitas yang dimaksud adalah kuat tekan dan daya serap air yang dihasilkan harus sesuai dengan syarat-syarat SNI (Standar Nasional Indonesia) yang telah di tentukan, standar yang digunakan saat ini yaitu SNI 03-0349-1989. P.D. Cijati Jaya adalah pabrik yang memproduksi batako pres, tapi masih banyak masalah dengan kualitas produknya. Kualitas belum bagus, seperti cepat pecah dan rapuh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang komposisi bahan baku batako pres agar produk yang dihasilkanberkualitas sesuai SNI. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Taguchi. Faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kuat tekan dan daya serap yang akan menghasilkan Kualitas lebih baik yaitu (A) Lama Adukan (11 Menit), (B) Tekanan (60 Kg), (C) Air (0,14 Liter), (D) Lama Pengeringan, (8 Hari) dan (E) Komposisi Kapur-Pasir (0,25 kg ; 1,75 kg). Menurut SNI kualitas ini berada pada standar kualitas I-II.

Abstract

P.T. Arwina Triguna Sejahtera is a company engaged in the production of molding. Common issues in each company include P.T. Arwina Triguna Sejahtera, is experiencing constraints in planning the production amount according to production capacity. So planned to be created master production schedule so that the cost is not too high. Steps that are done is to start by doing data processing of the past by using demand aggregation, then do the forecasting in accordance with the characteristics of demand. Aggregate procurement planning is carried out for the next 1 (years) period using a permanent employment strategy. Then proceed at the disaggregation stage by using the proportion method, calculating the Master Production Schedule to find out how much quantity of product to produce, and when to start the production. Finally perform the calculation of Rought Cut Capacity Planning to know the balance between the available capacity and the required capacity. Production master schedule obtained, production will be smooth and able to meet the actual demand of 20,000 pcs by adding overtime hours and produce end items as much as 2.368 pcs for deabetamil scoop products, while for featherlock brown plastic products actual demand can be fulfilled. The feasibility of the master production schedule is calculated based on the suitability between Regular Man Hour on production plans, with the amount of time available in the calculated capacity capacity of 17,1360 hours to meet the demand for this year. Abstract

PT. Anugrah Ditamas Lestari is an agent of 3 kg LPG Gas, to distribute to bases. PT. Anugrah Ditamas Lestari has a problem in distributing 3 kg of gas to the base, so it must have good planning so that the items to be distributed can reach the base in a timely manner. Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) is a distribution problem in the form of transportation equipment (vehicle) from the agent to the base then back to PT. Anugrah Ditamas Lestari (agent). The research conducted aims to determine the minimum mileage for each route. The preparation of this Gas distribution route was completed using the Heuristic Algorithm. The initial stage is the formation of a sub route which is the process of grouping the base into the route. The next stage of the sub route development phase that has been formed is based on the existing travel time, the last stage minimizes the distance where the agent must first deliver the product until the last base and return to the agent. Sub route formation is still done manually while to compare the final results is done using WinQSB Software. Based on this distance determination study, the distance traveled was closer, and did not come to the base twice.

Abstract

Abstract— C.V. Kencana Wulan is a company engaged in building contractor projects from general contractors, as a planning and implementation.As for the problems in the management plan, the lack of effective and efficient management of management that allows the company to experience a decline in profits. The company is working on a renovation project for the P.T. VEDCA which consists of 4 rooms. These source from three flows of supply chain system that is flow of informations, flow of material and flow of funds. This research aims to analysis the supply chain risks on building construction project in C.V. Kencana wulan with the CSC method on costs. Data was collected using a questionnaire survey. The respondents were selected based on purposive sampling method, covers the experst on building construction projects. The method of analisys covers risk assement. The risk assement analysis shows that there are 12 major risks (4 risk in flow of information, 6 risks in flow of material and 2 risks in flow of fund). Risk in material flow is a risk that has the biggest influense among other variables so that it needs to be done intensive handling in its management. Abstrak— C.V. Kencana Wulan adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang proyek pemborong bangunan dari kontraktor umum, sebagai perencanaan maupun penyelenggaraannya. Adapun permasalahan di C.V. Kencana Wulan kurang nya penanganan terhadap pengelolaan yang kurang efektif dan efesien sehingga memungkinkan perusahaan mengalami risiko-risiko yang membuat penurunan keuntungan. Perusahaan ini sedang mengerjakan proyek renovasi gedung kantor P.T. VEDCA yang terdiri dari 4 ruangan. Hubungan antara pihak-pihak dalam proyek ini menempatkan kontraktor sebagai mata rantai dalam hubungan ini yang dikenal sebagai construction supply chain (CSC). Dalam construction supply chain (CSC) terdapat kemungkinan risiko yang dapat meningkatkan biaya proyek sehingga menyebabkan penurunan keuntungan kontraktor. Kemungkinan munculnya risiko dalam CSC dapat terjadi pada tiga aliran dalam sistem supply chain, yaitu aliran informasi (flow of informations), aliran material (flow of materials) dan aliran dana (flow of funds). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis risiko supply chain pada proyek konstruksi gedung di CV. Kencana Wulan dengan metode CSC terhadap biaya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode survei menggunakan kuesioner. Responden dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling, yaitu para expert pada proyek konstruksi gedung. Metode analisis meliputi analisis penilaian risiko. Tindakan mitigasi dikonfirmasikaan kepada expert melalui wawancara. Hasil analisis penilaian risiko menghasilkan 12 major risk (4 risiko dalam aliran informasi, 6 risiko dalam aliran material dan 2 risiko dalam aliran dana). Risiko dalam aliran material adalah risiko yang memiliki pengaruh terbesar diantara variabel lain, sehingga perlu dilakukan penanganan intensif dalam pengelolaanya..

Abstract

Abstract— The supply chain management of the coconut industry in the Sula Islands district is still felt to be ineffective and inefficient. The advantage of effective supply chain management is to get maximum speed when goods and services move through the supply chain channel, lower costs, and increase added value for customers and product competitiveness in the market. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the management of the coconut industry supply chain. The method used is descriptive qualitative analysis. Those who play a role in the coconut supply chain in the Sula Islands district are farmers, collectors I, collectors II, owners of home industries, transport vehicle owners and marine vessels as modes of transportation. With this supply chain channel, there are only a few benefits for farmers and business operators. The added value of coconut and copra is very small, meaning that the economic value obtained is very small. To provide greater economic value for residents of the Sula Islands district, especially for coconut farmers and coconut entrepreneurs, so coconut fruit must be processed not only until copra, but made in industrial scale coconut oil.Keywords— Supply Chain; Coconut; Industry; Coconut oil; Sula Islands Regency. Abstrak— Manajemen rantai pasok industri kelapa di kabupaten Kepulauan Sula masih dirasakan belum efektif dan efisien. Keuntungan manajemen rantai pasok yang efektif adalah   untuk   mendapatkan   kecepatan   maksimal pada saat barang dan jasa bergerak melalui jalur rantai pasok, menurunkan biaya, serta meningkatkan nilai tambah bagi pelanggan dan daya saing produk di pasar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis   pengelolaan   rantai   pasokan industri kelapa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Analisis deskriptif kualitatif.  Yang berperan dalam rantai pasokan kelapa di kabupaten Kepulauan Sula adalah petani, pengepul I, pengepul II, pemilik industri rumahan, pemilik kendaraan angkut dan kapal laut sebagai moda transportasi. Dengan jalur Rantai Pasokan seperti ini hanya sedikit keuntungan yang didapat oleh petani maupun pelaku usaha. Nilai Tambah dari Kelapa dan Kopra sangat kecil, berarti Nilai ekonomi yang didapatpun sangat kecil. Untuk memberikan nilai ekonomi lebih besar bagi penduduk kabupaten Kepulauan Sula, terutama bagi petani Kelapa dan pelaku usaha Kelapa, makanya buah Kelapa harus diolah tidak hanya sampai Kopra, tetapi dibuat minyak Kelapa berskala industri.Kata kunci— Rantai Pasok; Kelapa; Industri; Minyak Kelapa; Kabupaten Kepulauan Sula.

Abstract

Abstract— The need for building materials in recent decades has increased. One of them is the need of "Prescription Batako". This can happen along with the increasing of infrastructure development in society. As a result, the challenge of reaching market demand is also greater. This condition demands each Preservation Batako company to provide maximum product Quality. The purpose of this research is to know what factors affect the results of Prescription Batako products. The method used is a Design Experiment using Factorial Factor Three Factor. The three factors are Worker factor, water composition factor, and with sand-lime composition factor. Data processing is assisted by SPSS software. Influence which is analyzed by three factors are absorption and compressive power. Abstract

Fluctuating and uncertain demand is a problem faced by manufacturing firms. The problem can be mitigated by the availability of inventory systems. This inventory serves to ensure the availability of appropriate resources in the right quantity and at the right time, so as to minimize the costs incurred. PT. Transplants Indonesia is a company engaged in the business of chrysanthemum flower in Indonesia. PT. Transplants Indonesia is a subsidiary of Okinawa Flower Agricultural Cooperative Association (OKF) in Okinawa, Japan. The purpose of this company establishment is to meet the demand of farmers who are members of the OKF. In the case of backorder, on Q method with probabilistic request the size of the lottery (Q) is always fixed for every time the order is made and the order is made if the amount of inventory system has reached a certain level (r) called the reorder point. In method P with probabilistic order requests made according to a fixed interval of time (T) and the ordering does not exceed the maximum inventory limit (R). Total Inventory cost incurred by the company using the method used by the company amounted to Rp.74.995.360,84. The inventory model using the Q method generates a total inventory cost of Rp.70.253.291,46. Meanwhile, inventory model using P method resulted in total inventory cost of Rp.71.529.327,17. So economically, the selected inventory model is the inventory model with the Q method which has a lower total inventory cost value than using the P method.
