Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa di SDN 200301 Padang Sidimpuan. Analisis awal menunjukkan bahwa 85% guru memiliki pemahaman yang terbatas tentang pendekatan STEM, khususnya dalam mengintegrasikan elemen sains, teknologi, rekayasa, dan matematika dalam pembelajaran. Program ini menerapkan metode ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) yang dimodifikasi sesuai konteks sekolah dasar, dengan pendekatan pelatihan interaktif dan umpan balik aktif. Implementasi program meliputi serangkaian lokakarya intensif, praktik langsung pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran, dan pendampingan berkelanjutan. Hasil program menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kompetensi guru, yang ditunjukkan dengan kenaikan skor dari 62,5% pada pre-test menjadi 89,3% pada post-test. Validasi perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan mencapai tingkat kevalidan 93% dengan skor rata-rata 4,5 dari 5,0. Observasi implementasi di kelas menunjukkan peningkatan keterlibatan siswa dan kemampuan berpikir kritis melalui penggunaan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis STEM. Program ini berhasil menciptakan dampak transformatif pada praktik pembelajaran di SDN 200301 Padang Sidimpuan, memberikan landasan untuk pengembangan model pembelajaran STEM yang dapat diadaptasi secara lebih luas dalam konteks pendidikan dasar di Indonesia.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to analyze students' computational thinking abilities in solving combinatorial problems based on high, medium, and low ability categories. Methodology: This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with subjects of 33 students of class VIII I State Islamic Junior High School 2 Bondowoso. Data were collected through written tests, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model (reduction, presentation, conclusion) with triangulation techniques for validation, comparing test results, interviews, and documentation. Main Findings: Students with high and medium computational abilities are able to meet all indicators of computational thinking, including identifying and understanding problems, and converting them into combinatorics. Meanwhile, students with low abilities have difficulty in re-understanding the problems found. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study provides new insights into how students' level of computational thinking ability influences their success in solving combinatorial problems, as well as offers perspectives in developing more effective learning strategies to enhance students' computational thinking ability.

Abstract

Anemia in pregnancy is a potential danger to the mother and child. Therefore, the risk of anemia in pregnant women requires serious attention from all relevant parties. Considering the numerous negative effects caused by anemia in pregnant women, efforts must be made to prevent and treat anemia in pregnant women by understanding the factors that influence it. This study assesses the risk factors for anemia in pregnant women at Tegal Rejo Community Health Center, Yogyakarta Province. In this paper, a new integrated classification approach with binary logistic regression (LR) analysis and Rough Set Theory (RST) is proposed, in order to examine factors on the incidence of anemia in pregnancy. The proposed model is called the Logistic Regression and Reduction Rough Set (LR3S). In LR3S model, the RST technique is used to detect inconsistent sample and removing inconsistent sample that have probability less than 0.5 before doing LR modelling. To evaluate the development of the resulting model, a comparison was made of the performance of Original Logistic Regression (OLR), LR model after removed outlier namely as Remove Outlier Original Logistic Regression (RO2LR) and LR3S. Using a number of model performance metrics, it is found that LR3S has the best performance for the three models used. Using LR3S model, it is found that CED status, educational level, parity and gestational are significant variable impact on the incidence of anemia.
