Abstract

Since its introduction at the beginning of Islamic history, Ushul Fiqh has undergone significant developments, especially in facing the increasingly complex challenges of modern times. This study aims to analyze the changes and developments that have occurred in Ushul Fiqh so far, as well as the underlying factors. This research discusses the development of Ushul Fiqh in the contemporary world. Ushul Fiqh is a branch of knowledge in the study of Islamic law that aims to identify the methods and principles used in deriving laws from the sources of Islamic law. The method used is a literature review of various primary and secondary sources, such as classic books of Ushul Fiqh, contemporary literature, and scientific articles. A historical approach and conceptual development analysis were used to understand how Ushul Fiqh has changed over time. The research findings show that Ushul Fiqh underwent adjustments and transformations to address contemporary issues such as technology, human rights, bioethics, economics, and modern finance. One of the main factors influencing the development of Ushul Fiqh in the contemporary world is globalization, which has brought new challenges in interacting with different cultures and legal systems. In addition, social and political changes have also played an important role in shaping Ushul Fiqh's views towards more modern issues. This research provides an in-depth understanding of the development of Ushul Fiqh and its relevance in dealing with the complexities of modern times. It is hoped that this research can make a positive contribution to the development of the science of Ushul Fiqh, inspire further studies, and provide guidance for scholars and practitioners of Islamic law in responding to the challenges of contemporary times.

Abstract

@Quranreview is an account that specifically creates content and posts about verses of the Qur’an and their placement using social media as a medium to express them. In this study using qualitative methods based on literature review with reference ti the content of posts, writings and studies from the @Quranreview account. In addition, it also refers ti books, journals and theses as additional references. In this study using discourse theory. The results on this study show the relationship between interpretation and social media, the types of social media used in uncovering the verses of the Qur’an such as social networking, media sharing, blogs, and the web. Social media as a medium of discourse in assisting interpretation. The influence of social media on the interpretation of developments is that it can make it easier for people to learn and study the Qur’an because it can be accessed anywhere and anytime. The background of the rapid development of social media interpretation is the difference in how discovery works in the form of books and social media. Social media interpretation has three tendencies, namely contextual, textual and scientific interpretation which were originally carried out by the authorities of scholars, academics and intellectuals but now the general public or lay people get involved in it. The interpretation method on this account uses a thematic method which is presented in audiovisual form and visual with a linguistic pattern that is so thick in its locking, the characteristics of the interpretation of this account use the thematic method and are very thick with a linguistic approach in the discussion of its interpretation.

Abstract

Tulisan ini berupaya untuk menjawab permasalahan tentang hubungan pertemanan antara muslim dengan non-muslim dalam QS. al-Mumtahanah/60, surah ini memiliki penafsiran yang beragam dari para ulama mufassir. Dengan menggunakan metode komparatif, penulis menganalisis dengan membandingkan penafsiran kedua tokoh yakni Imam al-Qurtubi>dan M. Quraish Shihab. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan penafsiran Imam al-Qurtubi> dan M. Quraish Shihab tentang auliya>’, dalam QS. al-Mumtahanah menunjukkan bahwa penafsiran yang dilakukan oleh Imam al-Qurtubi> terlihat sedikit keras, hal ini dikarenakan penafsirannya dipengaruhi oleh dua sosio-kultural, yang partama Spanyol yang saat itu terkenal keras dan kedua Mesir yang terkenal moderat pada saat itu, dibandingkan dengan penafsiran M. Quraish Shihab yang lebih terlihat moderat, hal ini juga dipengaruhi oleh sosio-kultural yang ada di Indonesia yang terkenal dengan beragam agama dan sukunya.
