Abstract

Abstract This article discusses the bidara plant (sidr)listed in QS. Al-Wa>qi’ah/5: 27-31. This research is a qualitative research that is bibliographical. The results of this study show that in . Al- Wa>qi’ah/56: 27-31, describes some of the pleasures obtained by the right, namely being among the bidara plants that are arranged with their beauty and a very wide shade in all places, running water whenever desired, sweet fruits of various kinds that exist, such is the reward for those who have done good while on earth. Bidara plantsare plants that have many benefits among them: as a spiritual medicine, beauty medicine, as afever reliever and can reduce diabetes, can treat wounds and launch the digestive system, not only that the bidara plant in becoming a business opportunity that can improve the economy of the people. Abstract

Tulisan ini berupaya untuk menjawab permasalahan tentang hubungan pertemanan antara muslim dengan non-muslim dalam QS. al-Mumtahanah/60, surah ini memiliki penafsiran yang beragam dari para ulama mufassir. Dengan menggunakan metode komparatif, penulis menganalisis dengan membandingkan penafsiran kedua tokoh yakni Imam al-Qurtubi>dan M. Quraish Shihab. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan penafsiran Imam al-Qurtubi> dan M. Quraish Shihab tentang auliya>’, dalam QS. al-Mumtahanah menunjukkan bahwa penafsiran yang dilakukan oleh Imam al-Qurtubi> terlihat sedikit keras, hal ini dikarenakan penafsirannya dipengaruhi oleh dua sosio-kultural, yang partama Spanyol yang saat itu terkenal keras dan kedua Mesir yang terkenal moderat pada saat itu, dibandingkan dengan penafsiran M. Quraish Shihab yang lebih terlihat moderat, hal ini juga dipengaruhi oleh sosio-kultural yang ada di Indonesia yang terkenal dengan beragam agama dan sukunya.

Abstract

This study was driven by a series of events that showed the religious behavior of a few people in Indonesia who are less tolerant. This article presents the results of research on the Islamic view of tolerance and the contribution of Islam to the treatment of religious people in Indonesia. This study uses library research. The results of the study found that Islam used the Arabic language of Tasamuh to accommodate the attitude of tolerance of its people toward other religions, and the roots of classical Islamic tolerance can be found in the thought of Murji’ah, Qadariyah, and Ibn Rusyd Philosophy. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever hurts a non-Muslim protected, diminishes his rights, burdens him beyond his capacity, or takes his possessions without any complaint, I will be his enemy on the Day of Resurrection."
