Abstract

This study aims to investigate how the discourse of Japanese society tradition with conservative mindset as the impact of Tokugawa power that applied sakoku (isolation politics) for more than two hundred years began questioned, criticized and disputed in Hanauzumi?s novel by Jun'ichi Watanabe. This study uses Foucault's discourse approach that is applied to express the form of discourse by external and internal exclusion. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, the data collected is data that explains the problem of production and distribution of discourse based on Foucault's external and internal exclusion. The results of this study indicate that Jun'ichi Watanabe produces, distributes and transforms modern discourse as counter discourse against the discourse of tradition to change the way of thinking, customs and culture that harm women.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang masih sering terjadi dalam kehidupan ini adalah minimnya karakter peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan 1). Pentingnya untuk meningkatkan karakter peserta didik sejak usia dini, 2). Strategi meningkatkan karakter peserta didik melalui kegiatan monitoring ramadhan di SDN 2 Bawu. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan peneliti yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan study kasus dimana subjek diteliti secara menyeluruh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode triangulasi data yaitu wawancara kepada guru PAI, kepala sekolah, dan peserta didik, kemudian observasi secara langsung di SDN 2 Bawu, serta analisis dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu: 1). Pentingnya untuk meningkatkan karakter peserta didik sejak usia dini dimaksudkan agar menghasilkan individu yang berkualitas tinggi dan memiliki kemampuan untuk mengembangkan potensi mereka, peserta didik dapat membangun dan memeperkuat karakter yang berakhlakul karimah serta berpusat pada ajaran islam seperti yang dicontohkan Rasulullah SAW, 2). Strategi meningkatkan karakter peserta didik melalui kegiatan monitoring ramadhan di SDN 2 Bawu, hasilnya dapat membentuk karakter pada setiap peserta didik yaitu menciptakan sikap tanggung jawab, kepedulian, disiplin, selalu bersikap jujur, dan adil, kerja keras, pantang menyerah, rendah hati, toleransi, menjadikan pribadi yang optimis, serta selalu percaya diri. Mereka yang memilki kebiasaan baik akan menjadi individu yang bermoral, begitupun sebaliknya. Dari lingkungan keluarga, masyarakat, dan disekolah sebaiknya menanamkan kebiasaan positif dalam diri peserta didik sejak usia dini.

Abstract

A problem that still often occurs in life is the lack of character of students. The aim of this research is to explain 1). The importance of improving the character of students from an early age, 2). Strategy to improve students’ character through Ramadhan monitoring activities at SDN 2 Bawu. The approach method used by researchers is descriptive qualitative with case studies where the subject is researched thoroughly. This research used a data triangulation method, namely interviews with PAI teachers, school principals and student, then direct observation at SDN 2 Bawu, as well as documentation analysis. The results of this research are: 1). The importance of improving the character of studets from an early age is intended to produce individuals who are of high quality and have the ability to develop their potential. Studies can build and strengthen characters who have good morals and are centered on Islamic teachings as exemplified by Rasulullah SAW, 2). The strategy to improve the character of students throught ramadhan monitoring activities at SDN 2 Bawu, the results can shape the character of each student, namely creating and attitude of responsibility, caring, discipline, always being honest and fair , working hard, never giving up, humble, tolerant, making a person optimistic and always confident
