Abstract

Financial managers using digital literacy in the family are still unfamiliar at this time. The lack of financial management in a family can trigger greater problems within it. However, when the family's finances are well planned and managed, then every member of the family will feel peace in his home. With the socialization of the use of digitalization on financial management for household mothers as well as technical guidance on using existing family financial management applications, the financial issues faced will be easier to anticipate in advance. If this problem can be solved by every family, then the purpose of a prosperous family can be realized. The dedication to the community is aimed at explaining the mastery of family financial management and providing technical guidance using Android-based financial management applications for household mothers. The post-test results showed that 79% of participants had a better understanding of how to use a family financial management app using a handheld phone device they had. This figure increased 41% of the pre-test result done before the activity was carried out.

Abstract

This study analyzes the factors influencing the Sharia Stock Index in Indonesia based on world gold prices, crude oil prices, and BI Rate. Furthermore, to observe more complex conditions, the exchange rate was included as a form of mediation. The data in this study are time-series data collected from May 2011 to December 2023. The data were analyzed using time-series data regression, which involved mediating variables. The results show that world gold prices, crude oil prices, and the BI rate significantly affect the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index. The exchange rate mediates the effect of gold and crude oil prices on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index but does not mediate the BI rate. This finding implies that the dynamics of global commodity prices and exchange rates should be the primary consideration in the investment strategy for Sharia stocks in Indonesia. In addition, the influence of the BI rate shows that the role of domestic monetary policy has also been proven to be significant in influencing the movement of the index.

Abstract

The low presence of MSME taxpayers, especially from Generation Z in Banten Province, is an important concern in efforts to increase tax revenue. Digital transformation and tax awareness are important factors in encouraging tax participation among young entrepreneurs. This study aims to examine the effect of tax digitalization, tax understanding, tax morality, and financial conditions on MSME taxpayer compliance, as well as the role of financial conditions as a moderating variable. The study was conducted quantitatively with the SEM-PLS approach and involved 100 MSME respondents from Generation Z. The results show that tax understanding and financial conditions have a significant effect on MSME taxpayer compliance, while digitalization and morality have not shown a significant effect. The three independent variables are simultaneously able to explain variations in MSME taxpayer compliance. However, financial conditions have not been shown to significantly moderate the relationship between variables. This finding has implications for the educational aspect of technology utilization, as well as the formation of moral awareness being important for building MSME tax compliance based on the younger generation in the digital era. Recommendations for the Banten Directorate General of Taxes to improve digital tax education that is in accordance with the character of Generation Z. Fiscal literacy needs to be strengthened with a technological and social approach. Further researchers can examine the psychological and cultural factors that influence the existence of taxes.

Abstract

The capital market sector is one area of economic activity that is expected to grow significantly following the adoption of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). As a result, integrating capital market activity in the ASEAN area must be a top priority in AEC implementation. The essential criterion for creating a seamless flow of cash and investment is the integration of ASEAN countries' capital markets. The total worth of all outstanding shares based on their normal closing price is reflected in the stock market capitalisation. A rise in the value of market capitalization indicates that the capital market is expanding. Capital flows into and out of the capital market are thought to have altered the value of foreign exchange reserves. Foreign capital market investment contributes to a balanced balance of payments. Foreign capital not only serves to cover the deficit in domestic capital that domestic savings cannot fill, but it also helps to fill the emptiness in the foreign exchange gap through asset sales.
