This study examines the effect of financial planning, saving behavior, and income level on millennial retirement readiness. Employing a quantitative approach with 120 respondents, data were collected using a Likert scale (1–5) and analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Results reveal that financial planning, saving behavior, and income level significantly influence retirement readiness, explaining 62% of its variance. These findings emphasize the interconnectedness of these factors and their implications for fostering retirement preparedness. Practical recommendations include enhancing financial literacy, promoting savings discipline, and addressing income disparities through policy and institutional interventions. Abstract

Small, Micro and medium business activities are currently experiencing good development, especially in the food and beverage sector. Therefore, MSMEs must also be able to manage finances by preparing good financial reports. Financial management and reporting in MSMEs is still not widely used. This is because MSMEs feel that their daily money turnover can be predicted. However, without recording and separating personal assets from his business, an entrepreneur cannot control his business properly. The mixing of personal interests with business can increase risks to business sustainability and continuity. The independence of small, micro and medium enterprises today is the ability to run their business only by relying on their own capital. Soft loan capital is very rarely obtained because financial management has not been carried out, so even simple financial reports are not available. Business independence of course needs to be accompanied by the ability of MSMEs to manage their finances.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Intellectual Capital (IC) on the performance of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2020–2023. The research is motivated by the significant challenges faced by manufacturers amid the COVID-19 pandemic, which impacted production, revenue, and overall corporate performance. The study aims to explore how ERM implementation and the management of intellectual capital affect firm performance, considering firm size as a control variable.A quantitative research method with multiple linear regression analysis was applied using secondary data from annual financial reports of manufacturing companies listed on IDX. The sample consisted of 223 observations selected via purposive sampling, after excluding outliers. Data processing utilized SPSS software, accompanied by classical assumption tests such as normality, multicollinearity, and autocorrelation tests to validate the regression model. Findings reveal that ERM positively and significantly impacts firm performance, while IC shows a negative yet significant influence. Firm size also has a positive and significant effect. The regression model accounts for 43.4% of the variance in firm performance, indicating the critical role of risk management, intellectual capital, and firm size in shaping manufacturing firms’ performance during and after the COVID-19 period. Abstract

The rapid development of financial technology (fintech) has transformed the way Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) manage their financial activities, particularly in urban areas such as Tangerang City. This study aims to examine the impact of fintech innovation, digital trust, and consumer education on the financial performance of MSMEs. A quantitative research approach was employed using primary data collected from 150 MSME owners and managers in Tangerang City through a structured questionnaire measured on a five-point Likert scale. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 3. The results reveal that fintech innovation has a positive and significant effect on MSME financial performance. Digital trust also shows a significant and positive influence and emerges as the strongest determinant of financial performance. In addition, consumer education significantly contributes to improved financial performance by enhancing financial literacy and the effective use of digital financial services. Collectively, these findings indicate that MSME financial performance in the digital era is driven by an integrated framework combining technological innovation, trust in digital systems, and human capital development. The study provides practical insights for policymakers, fintech providers, and MSME stakeholders in developing inclusive and sustainable digital financial ecosystems.
