Abstract

This paper believes the tendency to use religious issues as a political instrument in the momentum of elections in Indonesia. Some research said the issue of religion is a supporting factor for polarization in society and influences the subjectivity of voters in determining the representation of their aspirations. The author is interested in the consistency of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) political support for the Aksi Bela Islam (Islamic Defending Action) which emerged as a movement that raised the issue of blasphemy and the criminalization of Ulama. This study aims to analyzing the potential of PKS using religious issues as political instruments to obtain and strengthen support in elections. This research uses a library method in which there are several literatures and scientific sources that are relevant to the focus of the case. Political relations formed through religious issues between PKS and Aksi Bela Islam from 2016 to the 2019 Election were so dynamic. The results of the study interpret the PKS's political attitude against Aksi Bela Islam as (1) political support that reflects the practice of Indonesian democracy, (2) PKS calls on Muslims to actively participate in every agenda of the Aksi Bela Islam, by obeying and following the fatwas of Islamic leaders who delivered in the forum, and (3) PKS calls for not choosing leaders who have criminalized Ulama. Thus, studies show that PKS has an electoral interest behind political relations with Aksi Bela Islam by utilizing religious issues.

Abstract

The job market has a strong influence on the preferences of new graduates. One of these phenomena occurred at the Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. Although the field occupied in this educational institution is pedagogic science, many graduates from this university are indifferent to the scientific family. This study aims to analyze the effect of work interest in Mechanical Engineering Education (MEE) industrial students on income, attention, willingness, family environment, and community environment. This study uses the ex-post-facto method. This study involved 82 students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling with a questionnaire to collect data. The results showed that: (1) income expectations, attention, willingness, family environment, and community environment all had a positive and significant effect on interest in working in the industry; (2) income expectations have a positive and significant effect on job interest in the industry; (3) Attention has a positive and significant effect on interest in working in the industry, (4) willingness has a positive and significant effect on interest in working in the industry, (5) family environment has a positive and significant effect on interest in working in the industry, and (6) community environment has an effect positive and significant to work interest in the industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan keterampilan berbicarasiswa kelas VIII A SMP Islam Al Azhar 26 Yogyakarta melalui penerapan penilaianautentik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model Kemmisdan Mc. Taggart. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam bentuk siklus yang berisi empat tahapyaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yangdigunakan adalah observasi, catatan lapangan, wawancara, tes keterampilan berbicara, dankuesioner motivasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) perhatian, peran aktif,dan antusiasme siswa dalam pembelajaran berbicara mencapai lebih dari 75%, (2) terjadipeningkatan skor rata-rata keterampilan berbicara siswa dari tahap pratindakan sebesar34,5 menjadi 63 pada siklus I dan 73,8 pada siklus II, (3) terjadi peningkatan skor rataratamotivasi dan distribusi kategori motivasi berbicara. Tahap pratindakan skor rata-ratamotivasi berbicara 62 menjadi 72 pada siklus I, dan 75,12 pada siklus II. Lebih lanjut siswayang memiliki motivasi berbicara kategori tinggi meningkat, semula berjumlah 1 padatahap pratindakan menjadi 9 siswa pada siklus I dan 12 pada siklus II. Sementara itu, padasiklus II siswa yang berkategori motivasi berbicara rendah tidak lagi ditemui.Kata Kunci: penilaian otentik, motivasi siswa, interaksi siswa, berbicara
