Abstract

The property tax registration process in One of The Regions in Bandung is carried out manually, resulting in the reliance on books and archiving in cabinets for information registration. The PBB registration process also includes inputting and reporting information through personal calls made via social media chat. This process especially demands citizens to physically visit the village without possessing an official letter when they receive a call. The absence of written proof when contacting the inhabitants causes them to feel anxious and uncertain, resulting in physical fatigue for the village staff. The Property Tax registration information system can oversee the data recording process for all system users (administrators, operators, visitors), including data recording, biodata recording, village services, and calling operations. Furthermore, residents can access and examine this information system via the Internet, enabling efficient monitoring and viewing of relevant data.

Abstract

Keratip Design, a design agency specializing in creative services such as graphic design, encounters intense competition in the expanding design market. Presently, corporations depend on social media as a means of promotion. However, the outcomes could be more optimal. Moreover, Keratip Design encounters challenges in engaging with prospective customers, impeding the company's capacity to establish robust connections with potential clients. In order to address these problems, it is imperative to create and construct a contemporary, engaging, and appealing company profile application utilizing Laravel as the development framework. By utilizing Laravel as the underlying framework for constructing the company profile application, Kereatif Design can enhance the program's performance, bolster its security measures, and facilitate future expansion of its functionality. The app will allow Keratip Design to effectively showcase its portfolio, outline its design services, and furnish clients with the company's contact information in an immersive and dynamic manner. This project aims to develop a corporate profile application utilizing Laravel as a promotional instrument for Keratip Design. By utilizing this program, Keratip Design aims to enhance its online presence, attract prospective consumers, and improve user experience. This study's results can significantly enhance a company's visibility, enhance company reporting, foster more substantial engagement with potential consumers, and enhance presentations.

Abstract

A robust warehouse door security system is crucial for safeguarding assets and stored objects against theft or illegal access. This research seeks to build and construct an Internet of Things (IoT)-based security system employing reed switch and PIR sensors to identify suspicious behavior near the warehouse entrance. Developed for PT. Anugerah Terang Persada's system incorporates real-time notifications for the warehouse proprietor or manager's smartphones. Reed switch sensors identify the door's opening and closing, whereas PIR sensors observe movement in the surrounding area. The ESP32-CAM microcontroller processes data from various sensors, capturing photos or movies during unforeseen movements or door opens. This data is transmitted via the internet to the mobile application, facilitating real-time notifications. The principal advantage of this research is improved warehouse security using accessible and cost-effective IoT technology. The solution delivers enhanced efficiency relative to conventional security approaches by providing instantaneous alerts and visual proof for prompt action. The ESP32-CAM facilitates automatically recording photos or videos upon detecting suspicious activity, thereby enhancing security by preserving digital evidence for further review. This system can also be linked with other IoT devices, improving overall security monitoring. This research presents novel options for firms requiring dependable and economical warehouse security, diminishing dependence on conventional ways while enhancing flexibility and convenience in facility administration.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the long-term integration among Islamic capital markets in five ASEAN countries namely Indonesia (ISSI), Malaysia (FTSE-MB), Thailand (FTSE-SET), Singapore (FTSE-SGX), and the Philippines (MSCI-PH) along with the U.S. stock market (DJIA) before, during, and after the COVID outbreak. Utilizing a quantitative approach, the study analyzed daily closing prices from November 2018 (a year before the COVID-19 outbreak) to May 2024 (a year following the COVID-19 outbreak). We employed the Johansen cointegration test and the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) to assess market cointegration. Results reveal that all ASEAN Islamic indices exhibit significant cointegration with the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA). The FTSE-SET and MSCI-PH indices show a strong positive correlation with the DJIA; in contrast, the ISSI and FTSE-SGX indices display a negative correlation, suggesting potential diversification benefits for investors. The Granger Causality Test further identifies causal linkages between certain ASEAN indices and the DJIA. These findings underscore the influence of global dynamics on ASEAN Islamic markets, despite their unique characteristics. The results advocate for portfolio diversification and the formulation of adaptive economic policies to enhance the stability of ASEAN Islamic markets amid global financial volatility.
