Abstract. Background – Indonesia is the third largest cacao producer in the world. However, chocolate consumption inside the country is still low. Packaging is a reliable promotional strategy in the retail environment to attract customers. By using a combination of graphical elements, it may promote product appeal and may influence purchase intention. Methods - The graphical elements in this study are color, typography, graphical shapes, and images that become independent variable and purchase intention become dependent variable. 273 respondents who are domiciled in Bandung are obtained as primary data. To know the effect of independent variable   to   dependent   variable,   multiple   linear   regression   is   used.   Result  -   This   study   found   that simultaneously all independent variables are significantly influence dependent variables. Partially, however, the color variables have no significant effect on purchase intention, with the most influential variables are typography, followed by graphical shapes, image, and lasty color. Conclusion – A product information and brand name can be a point for customers to purchase chocolate with an appealing typography, support by a real product picture and a good composition. Color still can attract customer for brand recognition, giving a higher chance for chocolate to be purchased. Keywords: Chocolate, Packaging, Graphical Elements, Purchase Intention.

Abstract

Abstract

Complaints of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) occur in various types of work, including harvesting Oil Palm Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB). The harvesting process can cause complaints to workers which are often in the form of pain and cramps in the wrists, shoulder and back pain, neck pain and pain in the elbows and feet. In the long term, it can trigger joint, tendon and ligament complaints, called musculoskeletal complaints. This study aims to identify awkward postures, repetitive movements and work periods for MSDs complaints felt by workers, especially oil palm harvesting workers carried out in January 2023. The sampling technique used the total sampling technique and obtained a total sample of 224 FFB harvesters. Data collection used the NBM (Nordic Body Map) questionnaire. Data analysis used univariate analysis, bivariate analysis and multivariate analysis with logistic regression test. This study showed a relationship between awkward postures (p=0.000), and repetitive movements (p=0.001) to MSDs complaints. Identified Working period (p=0.106) had no relationship with MSDs complaints in this study. The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the variable that had the most influence on MSDs complaints was awkward posture with (Odd Ratio=10, 024) with a p-value of 0.048 (less than 0.05). Companies must improve routine supervision and conduct proper natural handling training for oil palm harvesting workers to avoid musculoskeletal complaints.

Abstract

Background: Indonesia's efforts to transition to low-carbon energy are one part of rescaling environmental governance through a process of decentralization, and many actors at the governance level are involved in the transition to low-carbon energy. This research discusses the direction of energy supply policy in Indonesia in the future and its relationship with interested parties, especially the central government. Methods: This study uses literature study and document analysis with stakeholder mapping and PESTEL analysis to examine the energy transition policy in Indonesia, especially the electricity sector. The main focus is on the political aspect by considering economic, social, technological, environmental, and legal factors. Findings: The results show that regulatory and institutional areas have been restricted during the energy plan-making process, all centralized under central government control making it impossible for local action to take place. However, how sub-national actors can harness this space is influenced by many variables, such as political-economic structures, public participation, and power relations. Conclusion: It can increase understanding of the energy transition at every level and offer useful policy advice to engage all interested parties at national and local levels. The openness of the energy transition should be reformed and reduced from the non-substantial political influence for the matter of all Indonesian people. Novelty/Originality of this article: This study provides a unique perspective on Indonesia's energy transition by critically examining the role of governance decentralization in shaping policy directions. Unlike previous studies that focus solely on technological or economic aspects, this research integrates political, social, and environmental dimensions through stakeholder mapping and PESTEL analysis.
