Abstract

Food scarcity is one of the problems faced by many cities around the world. Indonesian is the fourth most populous country in the world after China, India and the United States with 237.6 million people in 2010 (Population Census, 2010). This significant increase in population has caused food availability in the world, including Indonesia, to become increasingly scarce and it is not surprising that the world, one of which is Indonesia, will experience a food crisis and result in the danger of hunger lurking throughout the world. country. Indonesia is experiencing a food crisis that is quite worrying. It is estimated that 179 to 181 million people in 41 countries will face a food crisis. This research explores the role of state administration and crisis communication in handling the food crisis in Kampung Wih Bersih. The focus is on appropriate inter-agency coordination, policies and communication efforts to address food scarcity. Through case analysis, this research highlights the importance of careful planning, effective coordination, and clear communication in crisis management. Recommendations are provided to strengthen state administrative capacity and expand crisis communication strategies to maintain food security in rural areas. This activity was held on Friday 19 October 2023. Before the activity started, the KKNT group held a discussion regarding activity partners, learning materials regarding food Scarcity in the Wih Bersih village community.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of describing the forms of conceptual errors made by Mathematics Education study program students in solving set and function problems in real numbers, and analyzing the causes of errors made. The research method used was qualitative with descriptive method. The research subjects consisted of five students who were randomly selected, with the condition that they had taken related courses but still showed errors in working on problems. Data were collected through a questionnaire test designed to reveal students' conceptual understanding and analyzed using Kastolan's error classification. The results showed that procedural error was the most dominant type of error, with a percentage of 60%. Conceptual errors and technical errors each had a percentage of 20%. This finding shows that students still have difficulty in following the steps of solving problems coherently, understanding basic concepts, and performing calculation operations carefully. Therefore, improvement is needed in learning strategies that emphasize concept understanding, procedural accuracy, and technical accuracy

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze students' mathematical reasoning ability in the Algebraic Structure course through a literature review. The method used is library research with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained from relevant research journals and analyzed using the content analysis method. The results of the study indicate that at the Analyze stage, most students are able to identify the information that is known and asked in the problem. However, at the Generalize stage, students with high ability can develop problem-solving strategies well, while students with medium and low abilities still have difficulty in connecting concepts and developing solution strategies. At the Zhyntesize stage, many students experience obstacles in connecting mathematical concepts systematically, especially students with low abilities who have difficulty applying relationships between theorems. At the Justify stage, students with high ability are able to draw conclusions well, while students with medium and low abilities still often make mistakes in compiling evidence and drawing conclusions. Overall, although students have a good initial understanding, they still face challenges in deductive thinking, compiling evidence, and checking the validity of an argument. Therefore, improvements in learning methods are needed to strengthen students' understanding of concepts and mathematical reasoning abilities.Keywords: mathematical reasoning, algebraic structure, literature review, ability analysis, mathematics learning.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Struktur Aljabar melalui kajian literatur. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data diperoleh dari jurnal penelitian yang relevan dan dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis isi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap Analyze, sebagian besar mahasiswa mampu mengidentifikasi informasi yang diketahui dan yang ditanyakan dalam soal. Namun, pada tahap Generalize, mahasiswa dengan kemampuan tinggi dapat menyusun strategi pemecahan masalah dengan baik, sementara mahasiswa dengan kemampuan sedang dan rendah masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menghubungkan konsep serta menyusun strategi penyelesaian. Pada tahap Zhyntesize, banyak mahasiswa mengalami kendala dalam menghubungkan konsep-konsep matematika secara sistematis, terutama mahasiswa dengan kemampuan rendah yang kesulitan menerapkan hubungan antar teorema. Pada tahap Justify, mahasiswa dengan kemampuan tinggi mampu menarik kesimpulan dengan baik, sedangkan mahasiswa dengan kemampuan sedang dan rendah masih sering mengalami kesalahan dalam menyusun bukti dan mengambil kesimpulan. Secara keseluruhan, meskipun mahasiswa memiliki pemahaman awal yang baik, mereka masih menghadapi tantangan dalam berpikir deduktif, menyusun bukti, serta memeriksa kesahihan suatu argumen. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peningkatan dalam metode pembelajaran untuk memperkuat pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa. Kata kunci: penalaran matematis, struktur aljabar, kajian literatur, analisis kemampuan, pembelajaran matematika
