Abstract

Media is a tool needed in learning activities that aim to help learners more easily understand the subject matter. This study aims to find out how important media interactive CD-based character in the course Development of Learners. This research uses the descriptive method with the instrument in the form of a questionnaire given to students who follow the recovery of the students' progress. Based on the results of the study 81.25% of respondents stated that they have never seen a character-based interactive CD media in the course of the development of learners. They suggested that the making of character-based interactive CD because with the media is expected subject matter more easily understood. So far, the media are still in the form of power points and textbooks so that learning activities are less interesting. From the results of this study suggested to the lecturers in order to create a more interactive media such as character-based interactive CD for the course of the development of learners.

Abstract

SMA N 4 Pariaman currently there are obstacles in the processing of student discipline violation scores and consultation issues between parents of students with counseling (BK) and teachers. In this case will be built a system E-Counseling student application website-based system, that can assist the BK in the processing of student discipline violation scores, as well as facilitate teachers and parents in consultation discipline students in school. This system is built using Unified Modeling Language (UML) method which is object oriented software development method using PHP programming language and MySQL database and data collection technique by observation and literature study. This study aims to provide convenience for the BK, teachers and parents to improve discipline in students

Abstract

The process of selecting a new house is a complex decision that involves careful consideration of multiple interacting criteria, including price, location, building size, facilities, and surrounding environment. In today's competitive real estate market, potential buyers often struggle to make optimal choices due to the overwhelming number of options and factors to consider. An effective decision support system (DSS) is essential to address this challenge. This research implements the Weighted Product (WP) method to systematically map and evaluate alternative choices of new houses based on predetermined criteria. The WP method was specifically chosen for its robust capability in handling multi-criteria decision-making processes where various factors interact and influence each other. The study analyzed data from 50 housing properties across different locations, considering eight key criteria weighted according to buyer preferences. The research methodology included data collection, criteria weighting, WP calculations, and result validation. The findings demonstrate that the WP method successfully provides accurate and reliable results, enabling potential buyers to make well-informed decisions aligned with their preferences. The implemented system showed an 85% satisfaction rate among test users, confirming its effectiveness in simplifying the complex house selection process by systematically evaluating available options.

Abstract

Almost all aspects of human life have now been touched by tehnological advances, one of which is food recipes. In the past, when you wanted to learn food recipes, you had to go through magazines and newspaper. Then was a change, food recipes can be found on the website in the form of the text and images. Then it developed in to video broadcast on youtube, which can access via a computer or smartphone. This development in the culinery field is indeed very helpful, but it still has weaknees namely, the information contained on the websites and videos is only for one type of food, if you want to find another dish you have to search again, this method also requires quite a lot of time to find food recipes according to your wants and needs, and the food recipes you are looking for are easily lost and easily forgotten because they cannot be stored permanently. So that with the application Android-based tradisional Indonesian food recipes, it can be accsessed mobile by using a smartphone.So this is quite helpful for users to make it easier to find information about the materials needed to how make to make them. The approach used is an agile process approach with an extreme programming model, then the design uses UML (Unified Modeling Language). Abstract

Sport is an activity that trains the human body's endurance, where the body is trained more than usual, usually the body often becomes weak if you don't exercise often because the body's endurance decreases, exercise can have a good effect on the body, so the effect of exercise is itself can have a good impact on our bodies. Batam City is a city Industry, Where one of the cities that has the majority of the city's population is workers from various types of work, which require maximum endurance and require more extra energy, In the modern era filled with technology, the need for fast and easily accessible information about sports venues has become increasingly important. Batam City, as a rapidly developing economic and tourism center in Indonesia, is also experiencing an increase in interest and talent in sports activities, therefore, the development of a sports venue information system in Batam City is based on Android with method Location Based Service has become a necessity.

Abstract

The rapid development of education demands high-quality, competent, and competitive human resources. The community in Batam City supports this by initiating activities such as abacus lessons (sempoa), which enhance children's arithmetic skills, logical thinking, concentration, and memory. In education management, school administration plays a vital role in improving services and performance. With technological advancements, administrative processes have shifted from manual methods to digital solutions, such as Excel-based and web-based applications. Web-based systems, in particular, enable efficient, integrated, and accurate data management, supporting a more modern and effective school administration system.
