Abstract

Abstract Human behavior in searching different information but can establish a pattern that can be known the model search. In the case of this study, the focus is the behavior of students in searching information to meet the learning needs on campus. Exploratory research methodology with a quantitative approach. Collecting data through distributing questionnaires to 93 respondents to the survey technique as the primary data and conducting interviews as secondary data. Data analysis techniques performed by regression analysis model tiered or SEM (structural equation modeling) with Partial Least Square approach using tools SmartPls 2.0 and SPSS program to test for normality of data. The results showed that the characteristics of all respondents belonging to the Internet generation (net generation) or better known as a digital native with instant information search behavior patterns and digital in meeting information needs. Amounting to 68.82% of respondents chose the resources in the form of electronic media format as a medium of learning than the printed media. Amounting to 62.37% of respondents prefer to access information to support their learning tasks derived from internet and as much as 54.84% using the smartphone as a support tool accessing such information. In conclusion digital native generation tend to like information search patterns that come into contact with technology, is fast and easy, and like source of information in electronic media. Thus forming the pattern of searches ranging from needs information analysis (task/add insight) – environment (economic) - access location (internet/library) – selection (source of relevant information). Keywords: behavior, information retrieval, digital native

Abstract

In improving reading interest and creativity strategies in children, it is necessary to attract their attention. Nowadays, children prefer to learn while playing so that they are not only focused on the material but also on the fun. This study aims to determine the role of Jejak Literasi (JeLi) Bahagia Mendawai Public Library in fostering children's creativity and its supporting factors. Researchers used descriptive qualitative methods and data collection was carried out using non-participant observation techniques, interviews with 10 informants and documentary studies to strengthen the findings. Data analysis was carried out by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that Jejak Literasi (JeLi) activities as a forum for children to increase their interest in reading and have an impact on changes for them to learn while playing, especially children outside Kampung Caping Pontianak for free. Supporting factors for Jejak Literasi (JeLi) play an important role such as reading carts, collaboration communities, library board members and mobile library cars and other facilities. The learning gained from JeLi also helps them at school such as counting, reading, listening, coloring and writing.

Abstract

Laporan tugas akhir merupakan bagian dari koleksi perpustakaan. Salah satu elemen dari laporan tugas akhir adalah abstrak. Abstrak dapat berfungsi untuk menghemat waktu dalam penelusuran tugas akhir. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh menggambarkan pemanfaatan abstrak laporan tugas akhir oleh pemustaka dalam menyelesaikan karya ilmiah, serta untuk memperoleh gambaran sejauh mana abstrak tugas akhir dapat memenuhi kebutuhan informasi pemustaka Perpustakaan Politeknik Negeri Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga informan, yang merupakan pemustaka pengunjung perpustakaan yang memanfaatkan koleksi laporan tugas akhir. Ketiga informan yang memberikan data yang mencukupi bagi penelitian. Hasilnya penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemustaka telah memanfaatkan abstrak tugas akhir dalam menyusun karya ilmiahnya. Abstrak memudahkan pemustaka dalam mencari informasi di dalam tugas akhir, tanpa harus membaca keseluruhan laporan. Adanya abstrak dapat mengefisienkan waktu penelusuran informasi. Abstrak laporan tugas akhir tidak sepenuhnya memenuhi kebutuhan pemustaka karena pemustaka juga memanfaatkan tugas akhir untuk mengetahui sistematika dan format penulisan tugas akhir sehingga mereka mendatkan gambaran mengenai penyusunan laporan tugas akhir.

Abstract

AbstractThis study discusses thepolicy stock opname at the Archives and Library Office ofKubu Raya Regency. The purpose of the study was to describe theimplementation of thepolicy stock opname at the Archives and Library Office ofKubu Raya Regency as well as the obstacles it faced. This study uses a descriptivemethod with a qualitative approach. Collecting data by means of observation,documentation and interviews. Informants in this study are Head of Service, Headof Libraries and Librarians. The result of this research is that the Office ofArchives and Library of Kubu Raya Regency does not have apolicy stock opname.However, the implementation of the stock taking carried out in 2020 is theimplementation of the activities of the Regency/City SNP and is the librarian's ideaas the use of free time due to closing services during the covid-19 pandemic. Theinitial obstacle faced was the lack of understanding of SNP by library humanresources. So that no other library human resources are willing to work on it.Constraints in its implementation are the lack of library human resources, nofunds, inconsistent implementation time, and lack of attention to the importance ofstock taking.Keywords: Library Policy, District/City Library, Stock Opname.
