Abstract

Abstract : The purposes of conducting this research is to know whether or not Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) is effective in Teaching Reading Comprehension on Narrative Text and to know how effective is the use of Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) in Teaching Reading Comprehension on Narrative Text for the tenth grade students of MAN 1 Pontianak in academic year 2014/2015. This research was done by conducting a pre- experimental study which consists of pretest, posttest and two times of treatments.  The sample of this research is class XA and the total of the students is 40. The data had been collected by measurements techniques. The tool of data collecting was objective test. The finding of the research showed that the mean score of students? pretest was 60.27 while the posttest was 78.25. The students? achievement was increased by the different score between pretest and posttest was 17.98. The t-test was higher than the t-table (5.5 >2.045 at ? 5%). The result of the effect size (ES) was 0.87. It means that using Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) in teaching reading comprehension on narrative text for the tenth grade students of MAN 1 Pontianak is categorized as highly effective with the Effect Size (ES) > 0.8     (0.87 > 0.8).   Key words : Collaborative Strategic Reading, Narrative Text   Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pengajaran pemahaman membaca teks naratif dengan menggunakan Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) pada siswa kelas XA MAN 1 Pontianak tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini di lakukan dengan menerapkan pre experimental study yang terdiri dari pretest, posttest dan treatments. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XA yang berjumlah 40 siswa. Data yang di kumpulkan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data. Alat pengumpulan data adalah objective test. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa skor rata-rata dari pretest siswa adalah 60.27 sedangkan posttest adalah 78.25. Prestasi siswa meningkat dengan perbedaan skor antara pretest dan posttest 17.98. t-test lebih tinggi dari pada t-table (5.5>2.045 pada      ? 5%). Hasil Effect Size (ES) adalah 0.87. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwasannya mengajarkan pemahaman membaca teks narrative dengan menggunakan Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) pada siswa kelas XA di MAN 1 Pontianak di kategorikan sangat effektif dengan tingkat efektivitas  (ES) > 0.8 (.87 > 0.8).   Key words : Collaborative Strategic Reading, Narrative Text

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh bimbingan karir terhadap minat studi lanjut pada siswa SMP Negeri 1 Colomadu Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Populasi yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri I Colomadu tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 233 siswa. Dari jumlah total populasi penelitian, kemudian diambil sampel. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX B SMP Negeri I Colomadu tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 35 siswa, sehingga sampling yang digunakan yaitu simple random sampling. Tekhnik pengumpulan data yng digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Uji coba instrumen untuk menguji validitas digunakan rumus korelasi Product Moment Angka Kasar, sedangkan untuk menguji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Spearman-Brown. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan statistic t-tes.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data secara statistik tentang pengaruh bimbingan karir terhadap minat studi lanjut pada siswa kelas IX B SMP Negeri 1 Colomadu tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 diperoleh t hitung sebesar 5,49 (Lampiran 14). Selanjutnya nilai t hitung  tersebut dikonsultasikan dengan t tabel dengan  db = (N – 1) = (35 – 1) = 34 pada taraf signifikansi 5% = 2,032. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil t  hitung = 5,49 lebih besar dar t tabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% = 2,032. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data di atas, maka hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa: “Ada Pengaruh Bimbingan karir terhadap minat studi lanjut pada siswa kelas IX B SMP Negeri 1 Colomadu tahun ajaran 2018/2019” terbukti kebenarannya pada taraf signifikansi 5%.Kata kunci : Bimbingan Karir, Minat.Studi Lanjut

Abstract

Domestic sugar production is still insufficient to satisfy the national demand for sugar, and production costs are expensive. One of the ingredients that can be used to make liquid sugar is starch. This study aims to determine the response of the resulting reduced sugar by optimizing the substrate concentration, liquefaction, and saccharification time. The method used of Box Behnken Design (BBD) with combinations of 20, 30, and 40% substrate concentrations, liquefaction times of 20, 40, and 60 min, and saccharification times of 20, 40, and 60 min. The characteristics of cassava flour, such as moisture (9.208 ± 0.068%), ash (0.987 ± 0.001%), fiber (2.187 ± 0.033%), and starch (79.876 ± 0.000%), were satisfied on SNI 01-2905-1992. Liquid sugar made from cassava flour reduced the sugar content by 28.299 ± 0.101%. The optimal conditions were 40% substrate concentration, 60 min liquefaction time, and 60 min saccharification time. The characteristics of the validation liquid sugar are in accordance with the specifications for the quality requirements of SNI 01-2978-1992 in the form of moisture content, ash content, and reducing sugar of 5.194 ± 0.003%, 0.996 ± 0.000%, and 29.668 ± 0.761%, respectively. These results highlight the effectiveness of optimizing substrate concentration, liquefaction time, and saccharification time in producing high-quality liquid sugar from cassava flour. This optimization addresses the domestic demand for sugar. It provides a cost-effective solution by utilizing cassava flour, thereby supporting the local agricultural economy and potentially reducing reliance on imported sugar.
