Abstract

Pisang merupakan salah satu tanaman yang banyak tumbuh di Indonesia dan sangat bervariasi jenisnya. Pisang dapat di konsumsi lansung atau diolah menjadi makanan ringan, diantaranya adalah keripik pisang. Untuk mempercepat proses produksinya maka diperlukan alat pengolahan yang efektif. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah merancang dan mebuat mesin pengiris pisang sehingga menghasilkan kualitas keripik yang baik dengan waktu yang optimal dan biaya rendah. Desain pisau yang digunakan berjenis rotari dengan 1 buah mata pisau. Dengan sistem transmisi puli dan sabuk menggunakan daya motor sebesar ½ HP, 372 watt yang menghasilkan putaran 1400 rpm yang direduksi oleh diameter puli penggerak atas 152 dan 203 mm, sebagai data perbandingan untuk menentukan hasil pengirisan terbaik. Hasil memperlihatkan bahwa diameter puli 152 menghasilkan irisan 6.46 gr/det dengan ketebalan 2 mm dengan bentuk irisan tidak beraturan, sedangkan pada puli 203 mm menghasilkan irisan 4,82 gr/det dengan ketebalan 1,5-2 mm dengan bentuk beraturan. Faktor yang mempengaruhi ketidak seragaman ketebelan irisan adalah kecepatan putaran pengirisan, karena itu dilakukan uji prestasi mesin dengan perbandingan kecepatan dan hasil pengirisan.Kata kunci: keripik pisang, mesin pengiris pisang, pengirisan pisau rotariBanana is one type of plant that grows in Indonesia with many variations. Bananas can be consumed directly or processed into snacks, including banana chips. To speed up the production process, an effective processing tool is needed. The main objective of this research is to design and manufacture a banana slicing machine so as to produce good quality chips with optimal time and low cost. The knife design used is a rotary type with 1 blade. With a pulley and belt transmission system using a motor power of HP, 372 watts which produces 1400 rpm rotation which is reduced by the diameter of the top drive pulleys of 152 and 203 mm, as comparison data to determine the best slicing results. The results showed that the diameter of pulley 152 produced slices of 6.46 gr/sec with a thickness of 2 mm with irregular slices, while pulley 203 produced slices of 4.82 gr/sec with a thickness of 1.5-2 mm with regular shapes. The factor that affects the non-uniformity of slice thickness is the rotational speed of slicing. Abstract

This research examines the influence of Islamic boarding school policies on student competency development at Al Idris Islamic Boarding School. Using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and PLS-SEM methodology, the study involved 54 students selected through purposive sampling. Analysis results reveal that self-awareness plays a crucial role as a mediator between boarding school policies and TPB in enhancing student competencies. The indirect effect of boarding school policies on competency development through self-awareness showed values of β = 0.134 (T-Statistics = 2.085; P-Value = 0.038), while the indirect effect of TPB on competency development through self-awareness yielded β = 0.337 (T-Statistics = 2.248; P-Value = 0.025). These findings highlight the importance of strengthening policies in Islamic boarding schools that foster student self-awareness. Recommendations include improving self-reflection-based learning systems, providing motivational support from religious teachers (kiai and ustaz), and integrating life skills into the curriculum. With appropriate policies, Islamic boarding schools can prepare students to excel not only in Islamic knowledge but also in competencies relevant to contemporary challenges.

Abstract

In the context of technological developments, Islamic boarding schools need to form students who are moderate, tolerant, and adaptive to changing times. This study aims to analyze the process of internalizing the values ​​of religious moderation in Islamic boarding schools as an effort to face the Society 5.0 era. This research uses a literature study approach by collecting data from various relevant literature sources, such as books and journals related to the internalization of religious moderation values ​​in Islamic boarding schools. The data obtained was then analyzed descriptively to describe the process of internalizing the value of religious moderation and the benefits for Islamic boarding schools. The research results show that Islamic boarding schools have a central role in internalizing the values ​​of religious moderation. The implication of this research is the need to increase the role of Islamic boarding schools in developing activities that support the internalization of the values ​​of religious moderation.
