Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) penggunaan metode debat dalam peningkatan hasil belajar berbicara pada   Kelas VI di SDN 116 Enrekang., (2) mengetahui aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran berbicara dengan menggunakan metode debat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Action Research) yang dilaksanakan di SDN 116 Enrekang pada siswa Kelas VI, yang berjumlah 26 orang siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama dua kali tindakan (siklus). Setiap tindakan meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes unjuk kerja dan uji kompetensi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat  dan observasi. Hasil Penelitian terbukti signifikan (1) penggunaan metode debat secara efektif telah mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar berbicara siswa kelas VI SDN 116 Enrekang. Peningkatan hasil belajar ditunjukkan dengan perolehan belajar secara individu rata-rata  80,18 dan ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal mencapai 82,92 %  dan  (2) Aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran tampak lebih efektif sejak dari tindakan I hingga tindakan II, dimana rata-rata waktu aktif siswa sebesar 74,16 %, hal ini berarti bahwa siswa belajar dengan penuh antusias, sementara waktu yang tidak efektif hanya sebesar 25,83 % atau peningkatan keaktifan siswa dari siklus I dan siklus II sebesar 48,66 %. Secara umum motivasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan berbagai hal yang menarik dan menantang siswa untuk melakukan kegiatan secara aktif. Kata Kunci: Metode Debat, Hasil Belajar, Aktifitas Siswa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan guru di Madrasah Salafiyah Wustha Batu Madinding Kecamatan Batang Natal Kabupaten Mandailing Natal, dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif.Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 1 orang kepala sekolah, dan 5 orang guru sebagai sample dalam penelitian, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumen, untuk menganalisis data digunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data (kesimpulan). Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan temuan bahwa perencanaan peningkatan mutu guru di Madrasah Salafiyah Wustha Batu Madinding dilaksanakan dengan rapat melibatkan seluruh komponen madrasah seperti kepala madrasah, wakil kepala madrasah, staf dan guru-guru.Seluruh komponen ini saling bekerjasama dalam merencanakan program kerja yang akan dilaksanakan guna meningkatkan mutu guru

Abstract

Caring for and organizing bodies for Muslims is fardhu kifayah. If there is someone or several groups of people who have carried out the obligation, then the obligation of others to carry it out has fallen. There are four obligations of Muslims after the death of a person, namely bathing, shrouding, praying and burying. Organizing the bodies was carried out at the Nurul Hayat Mosque in Safaere Hamlet, Puncak Village, South Sinjai District, this activity was carried out in order to improve the skills of the community in taking care of the corpse properly and correctly in accordance with the teachings of Islamic law, so that one day they are needed to be ready.

Abstract

This study investigates the use of Canva as a digital learning tool to improve students' speaking skills and active participation in delivering procedural texts. This study specifically aims to: analyze How the application of Canva in learning can improve students' speaking skills in procedural texts; and explore How Canva can improve students' active participation in speaking in front of the class when delivering procedural texts. Conducted using the Classroom Action Research method. This study involved 32 grade IX students at SMPN 3 Sorong Regency and was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through speaking performance assessments (pre-test and post-test), observation sheets, participation rubrics, questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. The findings show that; 1) Canva can improve students' speaking skills, with an average score increasing from 61.7 in the pre-test to 79.2 in the second cycle post-test; 2) Canva increases student engagement in class, making them more confident, expressive, and enthusiastic in speaking presentations. Canva's creative and visual features contribute to reducing anxiety and encouraging an interactive learning environment. These results indicate that Canva is an effective educational tool to improve English language skills and encourage student participation. This study also highlights that the use of visual media such as Canva can accommodate various learning styles of students. The integration of technology in language learning has been shown to provide a more meaningful and interesting learning experience. Teachers also feel helped in presenting materials more systematically and contextually. Increasing student learning motivation is another positive impact of using Canva. With strong visual support, students find it easier to understand the structure and sequence in procedural texts. This shows that a digital media-based approach is able to bridge the gap between theory and practice in speaking learning. The implications of this study can be a reference for teachers in designing innovative technology-based learning strategies.
