Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan tingkat efektivitas antara minuman air kelapa muda dan isotonic water dalam menurunkan kadar asam laktat. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan disajikan secara deskriptif dengan menggunakan desain penelitian crossover. Subjek penelitian ini adalah tujuh mahasiswa laki-laki yang melakukan aktivitas olahraga dengan metode HIIT dan kemudian diberikan intervensi berupa air kelapa muda dan isotonic water. Hasil tes darah yang diambil sebelum dan sesudah intervensi akan menunjukkan data tentang kadar asam laktat dan kemudian dibandingkan. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah mean, standar deviasi, prosentase, uji normalitas, dan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil analisis tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kadar asam laktat kelompok yang diberikan intervensi berupa air kelapa muda dengan kelompok yang diberikan intervensi isotonic water dengan nilai sig 2-tailed 0,000 (P<0,05). Abstract

The spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia in these 3 months has experienced a significant increase. The pandemic or what people call it COVID-19 has far-reaching implications for public health. In March 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced that the new coronavirus disease was spreading very quickly as a pandemic. COVID-19 has had a considerable impact, including sedentary behavior and poor levels of physical activity. It has been demonstrated in multicontinental studies (n= 1047) among adults that during the COVID-19 pandemic, daily sitting time increased by 28.6% and the frequency and duration of physical activity decreased by 24% and 33.5%, respectively. This research method uses google survey surveys on all students in Java, who incidentally are still listed as active students in lectures. So that the survey results given can be used as a description of the physical activity and sedentary behavior of all students. This survey was conducted on October 20, 2021 until November 10, 2021. From the results of the survey taken, it will be processed in Excel using the calculation of the IPAQ formula. The results of the survey using the IPAQ questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive analysis using the SPSS application. The results obtained on active students in Java with an average age range of 21 years are still quite good in doing physical activity, as many as (4%) by doing light physical activity, (95%) doing moderate physical activity, and (16%) do strenuous physical activity. often sedentary behavior (63.72%) and the rest have rare sedentary behavior (52.92%).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of a combination of plyometric and ladder drill training methods in increasing leg muscle speed, agility, and power. This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental type and uses a nonequivalent control group design. Purposive sampling technique was used from 36 trained male students aged 12-16 years old from junior high school 1 to 36 years old badminton students. The research subjects were divided into three groups, namely TR (tuck jump-double leg run), SH (squat jump-double leg hop), and C (conventional exercise), which were divided using matched ordinal pairing. Each group consists of twelve students doing treatment with a frequency of three days a week for six weeks. The research instruments used were the 30-meter sprint, agility T-test, and Jump MD. Data collection was carried out twice during the pretest and posttest. Data analysis techniques using Manova and post hoc tests. The Manova test results showed significant differences in the three groups' increasing speed, agility, and leg muscle power simultaneously. The post hoc test showed that the TR and SH groups differed significantly from the C group (p<0.05).
