Abstract

Objective: To analyze the association of Ki-67 expression and response of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in patients with invasive breast cancer.   Methods: A retrospective observational study on the association of Ki-67 expression and response of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in patients with invasive breast cancer was conducted. This study included twenty-five female patients with invasive breast cancer who met the inclusion criteria. Parameters analyzed were age, tumor size, and immunohistochemical expression of Ki-67. Size of the tumor at pre- and post-neoadjuvant chemotherapy were obtained in cm3 and compared between 3 groups of Ki-67 expression levels. One way ANOVA was used to perform the statistical analysis. Results: A significant difference in changes of tumor size for Ki-67 level >20% compared to <14% and 14–20% was seen. Based on the result, neoadjuvant chemotherapy was proven to have similar effects in patients with Ki-67 expression of <14% and 14–20% but less effective in patients with Ki-67 expression of >20%. Conclusions: Low to modest expression of Ki-67 was a better biomarker to predict the response of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in patients with invasive breast cancer compared to high expression of Ki-67. However, the cut-off value of 20% could be ideal to predict the outcome of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in patients with invasive breast cancer. DOI: 10.15850/ijihs.v6n2.1374

Abstract

Industri pengolahan fillet ikan nila beku di Indonesia saat ini sedang berkembang, yang menghasilkan tulang ikan sebagai limbah pengolahan. Limbah tulang ikan dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi tepung tulang ikan sebagai sumber kalsium. Kebutuhan kalsium tubuh dapat diperoleh dari pengembangan produk sempol ikan dengan penambahan tepung tulang ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan karakteristik kimia (proksimat dan kalsium), fisika (hardness dan deformation), dan sensori (hedonik) sempol ikan dengan penambahan tepung tulang ikan nila. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Terdapat 4 perlakuan dengan penambahan tepung tulang ikan sebanyak 0%, 1%, 3%, dan 5%, dan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Parameter terdiri dari kadar proksimat, kadar kalsium, uji hedonik, serta uji hardness dan deformation. Analisis data menggunakan uji one way ANOVA (Analysis of Varians) dan dilanjutkan uji Duncan untuk melihat pengaruh dan perbedaan rerata. Analisis data uji hedonik diolah menggunakan uji Kruskall Wallis dan dilanjutkan uji Mann Whitney untuk melihat perbedaan masing-masing perlakuan. Hasil   analisa data menunjukkan bahwa penambahan tepung tulang ikan memberi pengaruh nyata (ρ<0,05) pada kandungan proksimat, kalsium, nilai hardness dan deformation sempol ikan. Kandungan kalsium pada konsentrasi 0%, 1%, 3%, dan 5% masing-masing sebesar 29,3 mg/100g, 143,03 mg/100g, 594,25% mg/100g, dan 1017,15 mg/100g. Konsentrasi tepung tulang ikan yang ditambahkan akan meningkatkan kandungan kalsium pada sempol ikan. Perlakuan terbaik adalah sempol dengan penambahan tepung tulang ikan sebesar 3% dengan kandungan kalsium 594,25 mg/100g dengan hasil uji hedonik terbaik sebesar 7,944<µ<8,035. Penambahan tepung tulang ikan yang tepat dapat meningkatkan kadar kalsium produk sempol ikan dengan tetap diterima secara sensori.

Abstract

The types and characteristics of mental disorders are very diverse, one of which is oftentreated is schizophrenia. At the Surakarta Regional Mental Hospital (RSJD) thenumber of schizophrenia patients is relatively large. It is estimated that more than 90%of schizophrenia patients experience hallucinations. To minimize the impact ofhallucinations, appropriate treatment is needed. Group activity therapy is a therapeuticmodality which is an effort to facilitate nurses or psychotherapists with a number ofpatients at the same time. The aim of this service activity is to provide provisions topatients and provide therapeutic activities to increase the level of hallucinations inpatients. The educational activity of making liquid dishwashing soap is an alternativeto fulfill this activity. The activity was carried out at RSJD Surakarta.
