Abstract

Perkembangan media sosial pada era milenial saat ini, membawa dampak terhadap masyarakat untuk berbondong-bondong mengunggah gambar mereka. Adanya dampak ini menyebabkan banyak gambar yang terkadang bernuansa negatif baik itu menjatuhkan sekelompok tertentu maupun golongan yang lain. Namun, tidak semua gambar yang ada di media sosial bernuansa negatif. Melalui perkembangan teknologi juga seiring dengan adanya perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Salah satu perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan tersebut yaitu segmentasi citra (image segmentation) yang merupakan bagian dari image processing (pengolahan citra). Hal ini yang menjadi dasar untuk dilakukannya penelitian ini guna mengetahui segmentasi citra pada gambar yang tersebar di media sosial. Peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan menggabungkan segmentasi citra menggunakan algoritma fuzzy k-means cluster. Adanya penggabungan ini diharapkan mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal. Hasil penelitian pada gambar di media sosial menunjukkan pembagian citra setiap daerah yang memiliki kemiripan dan juga untuk mengetahui pengelompokan piksel, berdasarkan kedekatan jarak antar piksel.

Abstract

Huawei’s market development in the US are causing concern for the US Government. This led to it enacting NDAA 2019. This article aims to explain the premises of the enactment of the United States National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2019 article 899 regarding the prohibition of the use of Huawei products. The type of research used in this research is explanative with secondary data types. The analysis technique used is qualitative. The theory used is the theory of Protectionism. The results of this study indicate that the 2019 ban on the use of Huawei products in the US based on the NDAA 2019 is based on three reasons. The first reason is the US desire to win the 5G market as an effort to protect the US cooperation in 5G development and to realize the US commitment as a world technology leader. The second reason is the alleged dumping and violation of Huawei's human rights, which can damage the value of the US domestic market and conflict with US national interests. The third reason is the insecurity of Huawei products due to the many violations committed by Huawei regarding intellectual property rights, espionage activities and trade agreement violations which are strong reasons for the implementation of the NDAA 2019.

Abstract

Water is one of the main components in the agricultural sector. Traditional irrigation systems are often inefficient and ineffective, which can lead to water wastage and require huge resources. Intelligent irrigation systems based on the Internet of Things (IoT) offer a solution to overcome these problems. The purpose of this research is to create a 4 Layer IoT architecture for smart irrigation in Gadon village. The method used in this research uses research and development methods, starting from literature study, field survey, design, assembly, and testing. Design of Internet of Things (IoT) architecture using ESP8266 for irrigation of rice fields in Gadon village Dlingo, Bantul. The design of this system aims to facilitate irrigation. This system utilizes IoT technology in its implementation. This system consists of four IoT layers, namely the Smart Things layer which consists of a water level sensor, water ph sensor, with control using ESP8266. Networks and Gateways layer, which consists of a router to connect smart things with the internet, Middleware layer, and Application layer which consists of an android application for the system interface. This system contributes directly to the form of convenience for farmers to manage irrigation of rice fields using ESP8266-based IoT applications. In addition, this system also provides water level information to facilitate farmers in the irrigation process.
