Abstract

Local food small and medium industries (SMIs) in Indonesia have great potential to grow, one of which is CV Totalindo Gemilang. CV Totalindo Gemilang is a business engaged in the production of traditional drinks made from spices or empon-empon. CV Totalindo Gemilang has great potential to grow in Indonesia, but is still constrained in the marketing aspect. Currently, marketing is still done conventionally. Lack of knowledge and skills in utilizing information and communication technology (ICT) is one of the inhibiting factors. The solution to this problem is to conduct web-based technology training to optimize the marketing of local food products at CV Totalindo Gemilang. The training used lecture, demonstration, and hands-on methods. The participants were trained to create and post articles on beverage product promotion through CV Totalindo Gemilang's web site. In this training, participants managed an online store, and built website interactions to promote their products. The results of the training showed that the participants have better knowledge and skills in utilizing web technology, especially in managing the CV Totalindo Gemilang web site. They can manage the online store, fill in articles, and fill in the products marketed on the website.

Abstract

Jamu tradisional merupakan warisan budaya Indonesia yang dikenal memiliki berbagai manfaat kesehatan. Namun, persepsi masyarakat terhadap rasa dan manfaatnya dapat mempengaruhi minat konsumsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi preferensi konsumen terhadap atribut sensoris (rasa, aroma, dan warna) serta persepsi manfaat jamu sebagai minuman fungsional. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 50 responden dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Preferensi rasa dinilai menggunakan skala hedonik 1–9, sementara persepsi manfaat dievaluasi dengan skala Likert 5 poin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa warna memperoleh skor rata-rata tertinggi (7,24), diikuti oleh rasa (6,25) dan aroma (5,5). Persepsi terhadap manfaat kesehatan jamu cukup baik, di mana penambah stamina (skor 4,14) dan penambah imunitas (3,8) menjadi manfaat yang paling dirasakan. Pereda pegal (3,62) dan manfaat pencernaan (3,62) berada pada kategori setuju, namun tidak setinggi manfaat lainnya. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun rasa jamu cukup diterima.

Abstract

Water is one of the main components in the agricultural sector. Traditional irrigation systems are often inefficient and ineffective, which can lead to water wastage and require huge resources. Intelligent irrigation systems based on the Internet of Things (IoT) offer a solution to overcome these problems. The purpose of this research is to create a 4 Layer IoT architecture for smart irrigation in Gadon village. The method used in this research uses research and development methods, starting from literature study, field survey, design, assembly, and testing. Design of Internet of Things (IoT) architecture using ESP8266 for irrigation of rice fields in Gadon village Dlingo, Bantul. The design of this system aims to facilitate irrigation. This system utilizes IoT technology in its implementation. This system consists of four IoT layers, namely the Smart Things layer which consists of a water level sensor, water ph sensor, with control using ESP8266. Networks and Gateways layer, which consists of a router to connect smart things with the internet, Middleware layer, and Application layer which consists of an android application for the system interface. This system contributes directly to the form of convenience for farmers to manage irrigation of rice fields using ESP8266-based IoT applications. In addition, this system also provides water level information to facilitate farmers in the irrigation process.

Abstract

: IoT technology has been widely applied in everyday life. IoT technology has been applied to smart home, smart city, and several supporting applications implemented by IoT technology. IoT technology can also be applied in hobby of keeping fish. The aquarium system that is sold in the market today is an ordinary aquarium. The aquarium system on the market today is already interesting, with a collection of plants and fish in the aquarium, but the problems that occur if the aquarium is stored in the house will be less to the needs of sunlight. Sometimes the lights that have a diaquarium are not adapted to the needs of plants or fish in the aquarium. Another problem is the provision of fish feed that is still manual. Sometimes aquarium owners must provide fish feed manually at least once a day. This is very troublesome if the owner of the aquarium has a very high activity, so the risk of forgetting to feed fish is very high. To overcome the problems mentioned above, it is necessary to have an aquarium system that is eyecatching and completely automated, both in terms of lighting and aspects of fish feeding. A smart aquarium system that can accommodate aquarium hobbyists with all the activities owned by aquarium owners. In this paper, we designed a new smart aquarium system using IoT devices
