Abstract

Seiring perkembangan dunia digital yang semakin maju khususnya di bidang musik, banyak gereja yang menyikapi kemajuan tersebut dengan mulai menerapkan sequencer dalam format ibadah liturgi. Salah satunya adalah Gereja Bethel Indonesia Jemaat Miracle Service, Yogyakarta. Gereja ini telah menggunakan sequencer dalam aransemen musik ibadahnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembuatan dan fungsi sequencer dalam penataan ibadah di Gereja Bethel Indonesia Jemaat Miracle Service. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the musical structure and lyrical meaning of Laura Story's song "Blessings." The primary challenge is understanding the complex and diverse music, which varies in form and style. The in-depth analysis includes melody, harmony, rhythm, tempo, dynamics, and instruments, as well as exploring the spiritual and theological messages in the lyrics. Using a qualitative approach, this research explains the musical structure and lyrical meaning of the song through hermeneutic and semantic methods. The song is divided into three main sections (A, B, C) with questions and answers in each section, forming a thematic development. The main conclusion of this study is that a deep understanding of the musical structure and lyrical context is essential for interpreting the emotional and spiritual depth of this song. This research contributes to the understanding of spiritual music and emphasizes the importance of God's blessings in musical expression.

Abstract

The author chose to conduct research on the song "God is with You." First, the song "God, God is with You" has a theological meaning for the life of the writer, especially when seen from the meaning of the lyrics which have broad meaning for the listeners, especially Christians. The lyrics of the song "God, God is with You" convey a message about God's presence, a call for faith, consolation,providing protection and strength to humanity. Qualitative methods with a descriptive approach were used to conduct research. The meaning of the lyrics of the song Lord Allah is with You which contains a theological message and how this message is communicated through the use of words, lyric structure and connotative meaning. These findings show that the lyrics of this song convey a message about God's inclusion, a call full of confidence and comfort that God is always present, provides protection and strength to His people in every journey of life. Through carefully chosen words, an orderly lyric structure, and impressive connotative meaning, these lyrics succeed in inviting listeners to always hold on firmly to God in joy and sorrow, with the belief that His love will never leave humanity.
