Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mistakes of class XI high school students on trigonometric subjects based on gender. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Samples and subjects in this study were taken by purposive sampling consisting of 5 female students and 5 male students of class XI. The results of the research error of male students are at the stage of understanding the problem, as well as at the stage of the problem solving process, where students are less able to show mathematical operations clearly and students are confused when getting symbols or numbers that they do not understand. While for female students the error lies in stage of understanding the problem, the thing that shows the ignorance is the lack of student understanding of the meaning of the terms or special symbols contained in the question.

Abstract

Pendahuluan : Akne vulgaris adalah penyakit inflamasi kronis folikel pilosebasus umumnya terjadi pada masa remaja dan dapat sembuh sendiri. Obesitas diduga salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi terjadinya akne vulgaris. Tujuan : mengetahui hubungan antara IMT dengan akne vulgaris pada siswa-siswi SMA Negeri 7 Medan. Metode : Penelitian observasional analitik desain studi cross sectional dengan metode stratified random sampling pada sampel 90 orang. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-square dilanjutkan dengan menghitung nilai Prevalence Ratio (PR). Hasil : Siswa-siswi SMA Negeri 7 Medan dengan IMT kategori obesitas berisiko akne vulgaris 1,438 kali lebih besar daripada siswa dengan IMT kategori tidak obesitas (p = 0,044).. Simpulan: IMT berhubungan signifikan dengan akne vulgaris pada siswa-siswi SMA Negeri 7 Medan.Introduction : Acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory disease of the pilosebasus follicle generally occurs in adolescence.Obesity is thought to be one of the influencing factor. Aim: To examine the relationship between BMI and the incidence of acne vulgaris among SMA Negeri 7 Medan students. Methods: An analytic observational cross sectional study on 90 students collected using stratified random sampling method. The data were analyzed with chi-square, Prevalence Ratio (PR) was calculated. Results: Obese students have 1,438 higher risk to have acne vulgaris than non obese students (p=0,044). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between BMI with the incidence of acne vulgaris among SMA Negeri 7 Medan students

Abstract

This study aims to develop a prototype CCU dictionary for BIPA students from China. In addition to language, BIPA students need to understand Indonesian culture because language and culture are related. Language can be mastered well if the culture that accompanies it is also well understood. This research is a mixed study with the ADDIE model development method (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) to the development stage due to the limited time in this study. Needs analysis is done by using questionnaires and literature study. Then, the design and development of this prototype is carried out by taking into account the aspects of the material, presentation, as well as language and readability. The results of this study revealed that most BIPA students experienced culture shock because of the differences in Indonesian culture and the culture of the student country. There are 45 cross cultural understandings that BIPA students from China need to understand. The cross cultural understanding consists of 16 cultural similarities and 29 cultural differences. These cultural comparisons are presented in this developed CCU dictionary prototype. This CCU dictionary prototype is designed to be a material for creating applications as electronic learning media that can be accessed offline and contain images, audio, audio visuals, and text in it. This CCU dictionary prototype contributes to the BIPA teaching and learning process and it is beneficial for students, teachers, and institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis tentang kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPAS menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan bentuk pre eksperimental design, dan desain penelitian one-group pretest-posttest design, yang bertujuan untuk mengatahui pengaruh keterampilan bertanya guru terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Variabel bebas penelitian ini yaitu keterampilan bertanya guru dan variabel terikatnya yaitu kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel kelas V dengan jumlah 26 siswa, teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah total sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, angket, tes dan dokumentasi. Prosedur pengumpulan data yaitu pretest, pemberian perlakuan, dan posttest, kemudian dianalisis secara statstik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan bantuan program IBM SPSS Statistik version 30. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara keterampilan bertanya guru terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas V SD Inpres Parangbanoa Kabupaten Gowa
