Abstract

The paper discusses the teachings of nationalism by KHR. Ahmad al-Hadi bin Dahlan al-Falaky in his poems. This research tried to explore aspects of local wisdom and accordingly to figure out the values of nationalism within the poems of a traditional Kiai living in the Balinese society where the majority were Hindu’s people. Data were primarily sourced and collected from “Kumpulan Sya’ir KHR. Ahmad al-Hadi bin Dahlan al-Falaky (1895-1976).”It uses discourse analysis to reveal the meaning of the poems. This finding shows that the poems firmly teach and emphasize the values of nationalism to society. In this regard, such values are vital to fostering the people’s nationalism for living side by side and in harmony with “the others” in the Balinese local context to the Indonesian national context and dealing with the challenging globalized ways of life.

Abstract

AbstractThe phenomenon of high enthusiasm for Hajj among Muslim communities is an indicator of the magnitude of the impact and benefits obtained from its implementation. The benefits of Hajj religious-humanists have undergone many shifts to the economic sphere and social status. This is inseparable from the results of people's understanding of the Hajj ritual and its ins and outs. Community understanding is closely related to the results of education and teaching obtained in formal and non-formal education activities. A good strategy is needed to produce an understanding of the Hajj correctly and with quality. This article aims to develop a strategy for developing a humanist-religious Islamic community through holistic education about Hajj. The phenomenon of hajj in society is described and analyzed using descriptive-analytical methods, then studied the development of teaching and developed using holistic education theory. The results show that holistic education about hajj requires an integrative approach in teaching the theme of the Hajj, by understanding the text about Hajj with various approaches to the fields of science, religion, socio-culture, economics and psychology. Multidisciplinary science will provide an understanding of the Hajj as a whole and comprehensively, so that the extinction of Hajj can be manifested in the realm of social life in a real way as the moral ideal of pilgrimage pilgrimage.Keywords:      community development, holistic education, teaching strategies

Abstract

Artikel ini ingin mengungkap pemahaman dosen dan persepsinya tentang representasi nilai moderasi beragama yang terdapat dalam buku teks perkuliahan. Partisipan terlibat dalam kegiatan grup diskusi terpusat (FGD), wawancara langsung, dan kuisioner. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa terdapat nilai moderasi beragama yang tercantum dalam buku teks secara tersurat maupun tersirat. Persepsi dosen juga menunjukkan bahwa empat indikator moderasi beragama sudah terinjeksi dalam buku teks perkuliahan yang digunakan oleh dosen. Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi rekomendasi bagi pemangku kebijakan untuk memberikan sosialisasi secara utuh tentang moderasi beragama kepada semua dosen. Sosialisasi yang fokus kepada empat indikator moderasi beragama tidak hanya fokus kepada toleransi antar umat beragama. Selain itu rekomendasi lainnya adalah adanya pelatihan pengembangan bahan ajar, buku ajar, yang memuat nilai-nilai moderasi beragama di dalamnya. Sehingga dosen dapat turut serta menyuarakan moderasi beragama melalui ruang kelas dan buku ajar perkuliahan.

Abstract

Student indiscipline behavior is a challenge in the world of education that can affect the effectiveness of learning. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of student mentoring using muhasabah therapy in reducing indisciplinary behavior. The research method used was a quasi-experimental with a one group pretest-posttest design. The participants of this study were 28 students with indisciplinary behavior from class IX B at MTs Miftahul Huda Sarang Rembang. The intervention was carried out four times for one month using muhasabah therapy to increase students' awareness and self-reflection. The results showed a decrease in indisciplinary behavior after the implementation of muhasabah therapy (p <0.05). The average pretest score of 5.25 decreased to 3.21 in the posttest value, indicating the effectiveness of muhasbah therapy. These findings confirm that muhasabah therapy can be an alternative method in supporting character education and improving student discipline. Therefore, this approach can be recommended for application in guidance and counseling programs in schools to improve discipline.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze teachers' strategies in responding to religious intolerance among students at SD Negeri 01 Jati Kulon. Method: The study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. Result: Teachers apply three main strategies, namely (1) preventive strategies based on internalization of values, (2) curative strategies based on restorative dialogue, and (3) social reinforcement strategies through school-parent-community partnerships. These three strategies are effective in building empathetic awareness and interfaith acceptance in the school environment. Conclusion: This study contributes by providing an in-depth qualitative analysis of classroom-level responses to religious intolerance, an area that remains underexplored in elementary education research. Adaptive, collaborative, and contextual teacher strategies are key to fostering a culture of tolerance in elementary schools. The researchers recommended the importance of religious digital literacy for teachers and parents, as well as the development of a tolerance education model based on local wisdom in elementary schools.

Abstract

Patterns of Representation of Religious Moderation in Learning Textbooks in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah: Content Analysis Study). One of the strategies to counteract radicalism at educational institutions is by strengthening the values of religious moderation in the content of learning textbooks. This study will reveal the pattern of representation of religious moderation values in the book Aqidah and Akhlak at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). This study is a library research using content analysis method and hermeneutic approach. The technique of collecting data from various primary and secondary literature related to the discussion of the value of religious moderation. The focus of the study is directed at the contents of the book and the values of religious moderation contained in the 2019 KMA Aqidah Akhlak textbook for MI Class V and the pattern of representing it. From the results of the analysis it was concluded that the 2019 KMA Aqidah and Akhlak textbook for MI Class V published by Erlangga has 10 subject matter which includes: kalimat Tayyibah Hauqalah, Asma’ul Husna Al-Qowiyy dan Al-Qoyyum.beriman kepada Hari Akhir (Kiamat), adab bertamu, sikap teguh pendirian, dermawan dan tawakal, kalimat Tayyibah Tarji’, Asma’ul Husna Al-Muhyi, Al-Mumit, dan Al-Bais, alam Barzakh (Alam Kubur), disiplin dan mandiri, and sifat serakah dan kikir. Religious moderation values in the book are in accordance with the four basic values of religious moderation that must be instilled in the world of education, namely tasamuh, ‘adalah, tawazun and equality. Salah satu strategi menangkal radikalisme di level institusi pendidikan adalah dengan penguatan perilaku moderat melalui optimalisasi muatan buku teks pembelajaran berbasis moderasi beragama. Kajian ini akan mengungkap pola representasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dalam buku Aqidah dan Akhlak di jenjang Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). Studi kepustakaan (libbrary research) ini menggunakan metode conten analysis dan pendekatan hermeneutika. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari buku utama dan sekunder yang erat dengan kajian eksistensi nilai moderasi beragama. Fokus studi diarahkan pada isi buku dan nilai moderasi beragama apa saja yang terkandung dalam buku ajar Bina Aqidah Akhlak KMA 2019 untuk MI Kelas V serta pola merepresentasikannya. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh kesimpulan bahwasanya buku ajar Bina Aqidah dan Akhlak KMA 2019 untuk MI Kelas V yang diterbitkan oleh Erlangga memiliki 10 materi pelajaran yang meliputi: kalimat Tayyibah Hauqalah, Asma’ul Husna Al-Qowiyy dan Al-Qoyyum.beriman kepada Hari Akhir (Kiamat), adab bertamu, sikap teguh pendirian, dermawan dan tawakal, kalimat Tayyibah Tarji’, Asma’ul Husna Al-Muhyi, Al-Mumit, dan Al-Bais, alam Barzakh (Alam Kubur), disiplin dan mandiri, dan sifat serakah dan kikir. Dan nilai moderasi yang termuat dalam buku sudah sesuai dengan empat nilai dasar moderasi beragama yang harus ditanamkan di dunia pendidikan yaitu tasamuh, ‘adalah, tawazun dan kesetaraan.
