Abstract

In general, our society underestimates diarrhea, so that it often has fatal consequences in terms of handling sufferers, this is caused by the application of the principles of rehydration as early as possible has not been implemented by the community resulting in delays in rehydration measures which can exacerbate pain, can even result in death so the researcher took the title The Relationship between Knowledge of Mothers under Toddlers and Handling Diarrhea in Toddlers at the Mayor Umar Damanik Health Center in 2021. The purpose of this study was to see the relationship between the knowledge of mothers who have toddlers and the incidence of diarrhea experienced by toddlers. This research method uses a descriptive correlation method with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all mothers with toddlers who had 61 children under five. The results in research on the relationship between the knowledge of mothers who have toddlers, with the incidence of diarrhea at the Public Health Center Major Umar have sufficient knowledge of 33 people (54.0%). The results of the chi-square test show that the significant value of the probability of knowledge is p <0.05 (0.000), meaning that there is a relationship between mother's knowledge and the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers. higher if knowledge about diarrheal disease in mothers is lacking. Author's suggestion It is hoped that health workers can improve their health services in health education about diarrhea in mothers.

Abstract

In 2004-2005 the Indonesian Health Demographers Survey found about 20% of the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) caused by obesity caused by pre-eclampsia symptoms. A descriptive study has been conducted to determine the level of knowledge of pregnant women about obesity by Tengku Mansyur Hospital Tanjung Balai City in 2021 based on education, parity. This population is all pregnant women who have their pregnancy checked by Tengku Mansyur Hospital Tanjung Balai City in 2021 as many as 33 people and the entire population is based on samples. From the results of research on the level of knowledge of pregnant women about obesity by Tengku Mansyur Hospital, Tanjung Balai City in 2021, the majority of respondents have sufficient knowledge (57.58%) and the minority has less knowledge as much as 14%. Based on the majority age 20-35 years as many as 19 people (57.58%) with sufficient knowledge and broadly aged <20 years 2 people (6.06%) are less knowledgeable. Based on education with high school education as many as 7 people (21.21%) have sufficient knowledge and a minority with elementary education as many as 3 people (9.10%) have sufficient knowledge. And based on parity, the majority had less knowledge in the primigravida group as many as 9 people (27.27%) and the minority with sufficient knowledge in the primigravida group as many as 1 person (3.03%). It is hoped that the role of health workers, especially midwives, is to provide health education and counseling about obesity in pregnant women.

Abstract

Adolescents are the next generation of the nation, they should be able to protect themselves from doing things that violate expensive norms that have a negative impact on them. The results of interviews conducted with 10 teenagers found that 60% had premaritax and the remaining 40% did not have premarital sex. The research method used in this study is quantitative with a descriptive correlation research design, namely research that describes the circumstances under study in a correlation manner. This study used a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all MAS AlwashliyahIndrapura class XI students, totaling 65 people. The sample in this study was the entire population as the sample. The results of the study found that the majority of teenagers whose social environment was bad, had free sex, namely 40 people (61.5%), out of a total of 44 people. The majority of adolescents whose social environment is good, do not engage in free sex, as many as 21 people (32.3%), out of a total of 21 people. between the social environment and free sex behavior of Class XI Adolescents at MAS Alwashliyah Indrapura.
