Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed people's habits, including in the use of online transportation. Innovation in online transportation services makes it easier for consumers and drivers to find each other's locations find out the driver's identity, vehicle type, and save time. However, competition between online transportation applications often makes consumers compare prices from one platform to another manually. This is time-consuming and makes consumers prefer applications that offer cheaper prices, even though it requires more effort. This study is a price comparison system based on Progressive Web Apps (PWA) that allows consumers to compare prices from several online transportation applications more efficiently. This PWA-based system can be accessed via desktop or mobile devices, providing greater ease of access. In developing this system, the Waterfall method is used, where users are involved from the early stages to provide feedback so that the system can be adjusted to their needs. Comparative analysis is carried out to find similarities and differences in prices between online transportation applications. This study focuses on two main problems: how to design a website that is connected to various online transportation applications, and how the price comparison system works efficiently. The purpose of this study is to provide a solution for consumers who often compare prices between platforms manually, as well as to form a PWA-based price comparison system that facilitates access via mobile devices. The benefits of this research include increasing efficiency for consumers in choosing online transportation services, as well as encouraging healthier competition between online transportation companies through more competitive price offers. The implementation of responsive PWA to compare prices in real-time, provides a better and more efficient user experience.

Abstract

Limited access to information about Student Activity Unit (UKM) activities and achievements is often an obstacle for students, especially new students, to be actively involved in campus activities. This study aims to develop an UKM Information Application to provide an integrated platform that makes it easier for students at universities in North Jakarta to access UKM information. This application is designed using the Scrum method, with iterative stages that include user needs analysis, development of key features such as delivery of activity information, event notifications, and documentation of UKM achievements, and evaluation through sprint reviews. The use of this application is expected to increase information transparency, facilitate communication between members, and encourage student participation in UKM activities. The results of the study are in the form of a digital-based information application that can strengthen UKM management and communication effectively and efficiently, supporting the modernization of information systems in higher education.

Abstract

Employee official travel activities in a company have an important role in supporting business operations and developing the business wing of the company, especially for large companies that have many branch offices in various regions in Indonesia. With more and more official trips requiring official travel tickets, a system that can internally regulate how tickets are purchased and paid is needed. The system is needed to reduce unnecessary official travel activities and valid data to be compared with data from third-party systems in terms of payment of ticket reservations. Researchers conduct literature studies, interviews, and observations. Literature study conducted by researchers to find the concept of an appropriate methodology to develop the Internal Ticketing System application. Interviews are used to examine important input on the Internal Ticketing System application of several companies that have quite intensive business travel activities, so that they are suitable and useful to be implemented later in the field, and business observations are empowered by researchers to look directly at the ticket booking business process on official trips and conduct individual understanding from researchers. The results of this study were successfully made a prototype of the Internal Ticket System application called Business Travel by using a V-Shaped SDLC method. The prototype making method is more detailed because it has 4 rounds, namely requirements, specifications, high level design and low level unit design.

Abstract

The advancement of mobile technology provides opportunities for digital transformation in small-scale property businesses, including boarding house (kost) management. This research focuses on developing a Mobile-Based Reminder Online Payment Application for Kost using the Mobile Application Development Life Cycle (MADLC) method. The application is designed to automate payment processes through a virtual account system and provide real-time reminder notifications for both tenants and owners. The development stages included requirement identification, system design using UML diagrams, database structuring with MySQL, and interface implementation. The testing process employed User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and user satisfaction. The results show that users successfully received automatic payment notifications based on the configured due dates, and all online payment transactions were accurately recorded in the system database without errors. This study concludes that the MADLC approach effectively supports the structured development of mobile applications for digital payment and reminder management in boarding houses. The UAT results confirm that the application meets user expectations in terms of functionality, ease of use, and transaction accuracy.
